Mated to Four Alphas-Chapter 270: Flashback - 10
Chapter 270: Flashback - 10
Damon’s POV
When I ordered the food, I didn’t really know that Silas was allergic to mushrooms.
But when he told me—like it was nothing big—I panicked, because I had ordered mushroom dishes. They’re my favorite, that’s why.
But since Silas has an allergy, I won’t eat those mushrooms again.
Well, I had never thought that I would be ready to stop eating my favorite food for someone.
Silas is different. The moment my eyes landed on him for the first time, I fell for him at first sight. That was the main reason I talked to him back then.
"Damon, what are you thinking?"
When I heard him calling my name, I snapped out of my thoughts and glanced at him.
He was looking at me. Those eyes of his were sparkling with just one gaze of mine. His lips wouldn’t stop smiling.
"Silas, tell me more about yourself. I want to know you better," I asked.
Because what he likes, what he hates, what his hobbies are—I need to learn everything about him.
"There’s nothing special about me. Tell me about yourself. Which food don’t you like?"
He looks extremely adorable right now, even just talking to me. But then I glanced at the alphas sitting beside us, a little farther away.
Their gaze was also on Silas. As expected, he is beautiful. That’s why flies always try to hang around him.
"Silas, let me see your hand."
He seemed confused, but he still let me take his hand. I stared at his palm and tapped my finger on it.
But it wasn’t just a tap—I touched him while releasing a bit of my pheromones.
And he understood that. That’s why he’s now blushing, looking at me.
"What was that, Damon?"
"I was just fooling around. And I hate mushrooms. I haven’t liked them since childhood."
I lied, but it’s not like I felt guilty or anything.
Because if I have to choose between eating mushrooms or staying with Silas, then I won’t even think twice before choosing Silas.
His eyes lit up when he heard that I don’t like mushrooms.
"Then why did you order the mushroom dish?"
"Silas, I ordered that for you."
I tried to explain in the hope that he wouldn’t ask more, and thank God, he really understood and didn’t ask further.
Meanwhile, the food got served in front of us. He started serving food onto his plate first—I guess he was really hungry, which is cute.
But then he placed that plate in front of me, the one he had just filled.
My heart skipped a beat just seeing his gesture. A smile spread across my lips.
I picked up the chopsticks and spoon and started to eat, and he did the same.
My eyes were only scanning him while his whole focus was on eating.
His mouth is really so small. It won’t open more than a few inches.
I doubt if even three of my fingers could fit in his mouth.
"What happened? Why are you looking at me like that, Damon?"
I think I stared too hard without even realizing.
"Nothing, I’m just looking at you. Can’t I look if I want to?"
His cheeks flushed and his ears turned red hearing me. He’s such a tease. Whenever I hit on him, he gives such a great reaction that I want to tease him more.
"By the way, Silas. After this, should we go shopping? There’s a great place where you can buy anything."
I suggested it because I read somewhere that omegas like shopping. So this was my chance to take him and get him something.
"Damon, I don’t like shopping at all. And I already have many things, so there’s no need to buy more."
Huh? What? He doesn’t like shopping? Did I read that wrong? Why doesn’t he like shopping like other omegas?
When we finished eating, he said he would pay for what we ate.
But how could I let him pay when I was the one who suggested eating outside?
And he came to our pack—it would be very rude to let him pay. That’s why I paid.
And when we came out, it had already started to snow.
Because of that, everyone was closing their shops and heading home, since the sky was also getting darker in the middle of the afternoon.
Silas joined his hand with mine, which made me glance at him.
"Damon, let’s hurry to the palace. Who knows if the snowfall gets heavier and we get stuck here."
Well, even if we did get stuck here, it wouldn’t be a loss.
Getting stuck in heavy snowfall with an omega like Silas—I don’t see any disadvantage in that.
It was just my wishful thinking, nothing more. As we reached the carriage, we found the roads were blocked because of the heavy snowfall.
"Now what will we do, Damon?" he asked.
He looked worried. I think he was imagining that we’d have to stay outside in this heavy snow or something.
"Don’t worry. Even if we can’t go back, there’ll still be a roof over our heads."
I brought him to a luxurious place where they only offer big, elegant rooms. After all, I want the best of everything for him.
When I booked the room, I specifically got just one. And he didn’t say anything, even after hearing.
"It’s cold, and we won’t feel as cold if we stay together," I explained to him.
"Yes, I understand. That’s why I didn’t say anything," he said.
A servant showed us to our room. After getting in, I locked the door and turned around.
As I did, I saw he was standing near the window, looking outside. I guess he really likes the snow.
I walked toward him and stood beside him.
"Silas, you really like snow this much, huh?"
"Yeah... It’s new for me, that’s why. But what are we going to do now? It’s only afternoon. We can’t sleep now, right?"
"Who said we can’t sleep? Look—the sky is dark already. That means it’s telling us to take a nap," I said.
Because everything was perfect for a proper nap. Even the cold air felt just right.
