Mobuseka:Leon's Adventure-Chapter 108
Chapter 108 - 108
The conversation between Olivia and Angelica carried on for a while longer.
They chatted about recent events at the academy, laughed over funny memories from the past, and shared the latest gossip — right up until Leon arrived, just as promised. He brought them something to eat.
Unfortunately, the supplies on his ship were running low, and due to a lack of ingredients, he had only been able to prepare something simple — but still a classic favorite: chocolate crepes.
Still, despite the humble offering, both Olivia and Angelica were more than pleased. The crepes turned out to be surprisingly delicious, especially considering the limited conditions they were made in. The girls even joked that Leon could probably open his own café... if he wasn't already so busy with other things.
After they finished eating, the three simply continued their conversation. The atmosphere on the ship was calm and friendly. A gentle breeze swayed the vessel, and clouds drifted lazily past the windows.
That's how they spent their time — until they finally arrived at the dockyard owned by House Bartfort.
---
Meanwhile, back at the Bartfort estate...
The familiar outline of the family mansion was already visible from the outside.
Inside, in one of the spacious rooms, a man was pacing back and forth — clearly agitated. It was Barcus, the head of House Bartfort. His face was tense, his movements sharp and restless.
He had just received troubling news that left him deeply worried: rumors had reached him about the academy — about his son, Leon, allegedly challenging the prince and his entourage to a duel.
"Damn it... Dammit, Leon! I swear, you need someone keeping an eye on you 24/7!" Barcus growled in a hoarse, stressed voice.
His wife, Lucy, was nearby. She sat in an armchair, trying to remain calm — though the concern was evident in her eyes. She gently placed a hand on her husband's shoulder and spoke softly:
"Dear, please don't work yourself up so much. You know our son. He wouldn't do something like that unless he had a good reason."
"Of course I know...," Barcus sighed heavily. "But still... it doesn't change the fact that he's gotten himself into serious trouble with the royal family. He should've thought through the consequences."
He paused for a moment, then added with bitterness in his eyes:
"What disappoints me even more is Jenna's behavior. She... she planted explosives in his armor. She claims the prince's foster brother made her do it, but still. That's betrayal. She crossed a line."
Barcus turned to his wife.
"Keep an eye on her. You know how to make sure she understands the seriousness of what she did."
"Of course, dear," Lucy replied calmly with a faint smirk. "Though I wouldn't say it'll be difficult. All I have to do is assign her some regular maid work. Trust me, she'll be begging for forgiveness in no time."
Barcus nodded. His face still showed concern, but next to his wife, he felt a little more at ease — like the tension had retreated just enough to let a sense of quiet certainty take its place.
Right then, the door burst open with a bang, and in came Colin — the youngest of the Bartfort children. He looked excited and out of breath, and shouted:
"Big brother Leon is back!"
Barcus and Lucy exchanged glances. The anxiety in their hearts flared up again — but this time, it was mixed with joy and anticipation. Without wasting a second, they hurried to the dockyard with Colin right behind them.
---
Just a few minutes' walk later, after passing the garden path, they saw it — the familiar silhouette of Leon's ship. It had just docked, and in the golden light of the setting sun, the ramp was being lowered slowly.
Leon stepped off first, walking confidently onto the wooden planks of the pier.
At the sight of his son, Barcus froze. His eyes lit up.
His chest tightened with emotion. It had been months since he'd last seen Leon. And despite all the trouble his son always managed to get himself into... a father's heart couldn't help but swell with happiness — even if he didn't show it on his face.
But the joy didn't last long.
Barcus took a step forward to embrace his son — and then suddenly stopped, as if he'd hit an invisible wall. His eyes locked onto something behind Leon... and went wide.
Two girls stepped onto the ramp behind Leon.
The source of this c𝐨ntent is freёnovelkiss.com.
Both of them were stunningly beautiful, wearing the form-fitting uniforms of the academy — which, unfortunately for Barcus, very much emphasized their upper bodies.
Barcus felt the corner of his son's lips curl into a smug, self-satisfied smirk. Leon glanced at him — as if he knew exactly the reaction he was going to cause.
And sure enough — it came.
"Is this... is this a challenge?" Barcus thought, eyes twitching.
"He dares challenge me, a man who has dedicated his life to the fine art of appreciating butts?! This... this is unforgivable. Even for my own son!"
His fists clenched, barely holding back his inner rage... and something else — a strange sense of betrayal. His brows furrowed, and he spun around to face his wife.
"Darling!" he called out, with sudden, almost theatrical seriousness.
Lucy jumped in surprise. Her eyes widened as she turned toward him.
"What is it, dear?"
Barcus approached her slowly, eyes narrowing.
"Show them your power..." he said, almost in a whisper — but with a voice filled with grandeur.
"...What?" Lucy frowned, completely confused.
But Barcus didn't elaborate. Instead, with the determination of a warrior about to deliver a decisive blow — he reached forward...
...and grabbed her firmly by the butt.
Then, in a voice loud and proud, he declared:
"I mean this! Show them that the butt is the ultimate form of beauty!"
Lucy's face immediately turned scarlet. Her cheeks flushed bright red, like a girl caught in a scandal. She yelped in shock — and without missing a beat, punched her husband right in the face with a full-force swing.
"GET A GRIP, YOU IDIOT!!" she shouted. "Don't you dare do something like that in public!"
