A few days after the Jade Dragons' allies returned home, Camille received a call from Melinda, stating that there was a group of people who wanted to meet with Lilith.

Camille thought it was strange at first until the Autumn handler clarified and revealed that it was the group of women who had been saved by Lilith from the cartel.

After the vampires took the captive women to a safe place in the GTS' territory, they kept asking about their savior, and their questions only got more intense when they passed by a giant billboard with Lilith's face on it.

Ever since the ordeal with the Blood Dragons ended, Camille ordered the Epsilon Team to invest in the creation of a new residential area that was being built on the outskirts of New Arcadia.

She knew about the construction since Melinda was leading the process, but the Winter handler wanted to get a share of the place.

Her plan was to transfer anyone who had suffered from magical or supernatural experiences to that area, where everyone else would have gone through something similar.

With time, she wanted to make the community a place where all residents were aware of anything related to magic, demons, or the undead.

Melinda wasn't planning on taking the victims there initially, but Camille easily convinced her, as she had several other projects to work on.

When Lilith heard that the women wanted to see her, she dropped her head laterally in utter confusion, wondering if there had been an issue.

"I think they just want to thank you…" Camille said.

"Hoh? I thought they did…" Lilith replied, still somewhat perplexed.

"Hmm, you didn't happen to place some sort of mind-control spell on them… Right?" Camille asked, squinting with suspicion.

"Of course not!" Lilith exclaimed, saying that she wasn't as dense as other demons.

"Okay, okay—I believe you. I'll go with you to New Arcadia to visit them anyway," Camille playfully said.

Dante and the rest of the Omega Team were preparing themselves to join their allies in the enemy territories, which meant that Camille's security would be a bit more lax when traveling south.

Nevertheless, the handler didn't feel unsafe with Lilith and Cerberus by her side, so she decided to accompany them.

The following day, before Camille and Lilith left for the private airport, they received a message from Asphodel, saying that her vampire clan had found a ghouls' nest near the mountains up north.

In the report that was given by Balthazar, there were a couple of androids guarding the nest, and the vampires were ready to engage in battle with them but were stopped by their Mother.

After Asphodel met android Sixteen at the Stellar Reunion for a brief moment, she was just as startled as Dante when she noticed the lack of energy flowing from its body.

The Vampire Mother could be reckless at times, but the safety of her children always came first, so she ordered them to retreat as she wanted to find out more about the androids' way of fighting.

While the Omega Team was dispatched north to the vampire's home, Camille and Lilith traveled south to New Arcadia.

During the plane ride, Lilith pondered if it was truly okay for Camille to leave the Jade Palace when the war with the other gangs had just begun.

"Well, it's not good to stay in one place all the time… Besides, I don't think our enemies know the exact location of our base. Not yet, at least…" Camille replied.

"Before you got here, I used to switch between my office at the skyscraper, my home, and my restaurants…" she continued.

After the Blood Dragons bombed Midnight Bar, Camille had a hard time going to her other businesses, as their locations were public information.

"Our fight with the Blood Dragons was inside our territory, so our movements were hindered… This time, however, we are bringing the battle to the north and west," Camille explained.

If their enemies didn't even manage to cross over to their territory, then Camille saw no reason to stay put in one place, especially when she had so many other things to take care of.

"Of course, it's possible that they could send some sort of terrorist attack, but that's what our security team is for," Camille said.

Lilith, who already thought that Camille was an interesting woman, chuckled at her explanation as she could sense a slight air of uncertainty in her umbra laced with pure confidence.

When they arrived at their destination, Melinda was waiting for them with a caravan of SUVs that took them to a hotel where they would be staying the night.

The following morning, the pair were driven to the condominium, which was still undergoing construction, but more than half of it had been completed.

The condominium was called "The Aerie," and it had a large sign with its name right outside the gates.

After passing through the gates, they found themselves on the main street, which traveled around the entire community where all the cozy, modern-looking homes were being built.

In the center of the residential area, a large pond could be used for recreational activities—except for fishing, as it could mess with the ecosystem.

"So, you own all of these houses?" Lilith asked Camille as they walked along the main street of The Aerie.

"Not exactly… This entire area belongs to Melinda and me," Camille replied.

The Winter handler explained that, in a typical setting, she would've sold the houses individually or rented them to tenants who wanted to live there.

However, since the entire community was being built for people who came from Terra and the victims who got caught up in their schemes, she had another business model in mind.

Instead of charging rent or selling the houses, she would simply hire everyone who moved there, confident that she had enough job positions for everyone.

"One of the first groups I'd like to bring along would be the succubi… I'd like it if they could guard the area while it's still being developed," Camille commented.
