Chapter 3171 Encampment I

Step!

I stepped out of the teleportation gate and saw the people. I felt relieved.

Since yesterday, I had been worried. Not daring to believe them completely went they said, the natives are controlling the other side of this formation. Now, seeing the people, I have no doubt.

"Stay in the encampment. Going outside is forbidden," informed one of the hundred guards who are guarding the teleportation gate. The guards also threw a crystal at me, which I caught, and sent to my core.

I looked around and couldn't help but be surprised by what I had seen.

The empty hills had been transformed into a city. The abodes are everywhere, hundreds of thousands of them. They have set them around the hills and the lakes; some had set them on top of the lakes.

Those abodes are especially good. I am sure they belong to the connected and the powerful.

I quickly moved away from the gates, but not before looking at a couple of announcements and notices.

Some had even caught my eyes.

"Chad, are you coming?" asked Heleu. He had survived. Though his state is quite bad, but he is healing. "No, you go. I think I will look around for a while," he looked at me for a second, before nodding and walking away.

I had fought bloody battles where I was nearly killed more times than I could count.

So, saying I am tired would be an understatement, but those notices had stopped me from immediately summoning my abode and sleeping.

eαglesnᴏνel I looked in that direction and crossed a couple of hills and lakes before reaching the valley, which looked extra crowded. Without thousands of people selling and buying the goods, they want.

They have set up a couple of markets around the encampments. This is a resources market and thousands of people have a set shop.

Some shops are quite big; three and even four stories tall, with a couple manning them.

Those with acumen for business could do business anywhere. Even a place like this could get attacked at any moment.

As I reached it, my core started to get active, wanting me to go to a couple of sources at once. It couldn't help but surprised me; even after coming to this, my core did not react more than five times.

But here, it already wants me to go in the thirteen directions.

I looked around for a few seconds before walking into the market. Immediately, hundreds of things caught my eye, and I wanted to buy each and every one of them, but I controlled myself and moved to the place where my core want me to go.

I have a large number of resources.

Not only the ones I had found and harvested but also the ones I have gotten from the Grimms. I may have targeted the Grimms with the bloodlines at most, but it is the regular ones I have killed the most.

Both of these Grimm's storages contain a lot of things. Many I need, but there are more that I have no need of.

I am going to sell them and even those I have harvested. While they are useful, I could harvest them again with the growth energy.

We will need to fight the Grimms again to get out and since I have reached the limit. All the strengthening energy of my share will go to the seedling of the world tree, which will help me grow more resources.

Soon, I reached the places. Like all stalls, it is set up in an abode and white snake beastwomen are manning it.

In front of her are thousands of goods. All kinds of resources, both herbal and of other nature.

What I want is a rough-looking crystal. It is black with purple streaks and contains an immensely dense and powerful curse energy.

I did not speak as I appeared by the stall, I looked around things, like few others are doing. I need many of the things she is selling and if her rates are good, I will buy them, but the priority is powerful curse crystals.

"I want chalua room, maisas flowers….and that curse crystals," I said to snake beastwomen, naming nine things I want.

"You can pay me with jashav crystals or with these things," she said, and she threw a blue memory crystal at me.

I caught the crystal and seeped my soul sense inside. Her list is quite long, with over three thousand things inside it. Including the Jashav crystal she is asking for, which I have, but I will not pay her for that.

Jashav crystals are precious. I rather pay her with other things on the list.

"I have goas rocks, melk flowers, and hadoll roots," I said to her. "Give me ten kilograms of goas rocks, five melk flowers, and seven hadoll roots," she said, and my expression turned serious.

"You are asking too much," I said to her, and she looked at me. "How about nine kilograms of goas roc"

"Excuse me, how much is this curse crystal?" asked a blue stone skin, interrupting her. "Ten jashav crystals or anything on this list?" she said and threw him the crystals, but he did not even look at I crystal.

"Here are the ten jashav crystals," he said and sent crystals toward us, but they stopped mid-air and both of them turned to me as I stopped them.

"I am buying the curse crystal," I said, and the smile on the face of the snake beastwomen become wider. "But he is paying more," she said, looking at Stoneman and me with a smile; seeing the expression of both of us turned bad.

"I will pay you fifteen jashav crystals," I said after a second of silence. "Twenty," said the stone man immediately.

"Thirty," I said without missing a beat. "Forty," bid the beastman, and the smile on the snake's beastwoman's face became even wider.

"Seventy," I bid, and it couldn't help but surprise them. The Stoneman opened its mouth but closed it a moment later.

"Seventy jashav crystal it is," said the Beastwomen, and immediately, I paid her with it, taking the taking, before negotiating the price for other things.

"It's nice doing business with you," said the Beastwomen with a big smile on his face. I just nodded and turned, cautious of the Stoneman behind me.

These kinds of things are delicate; I have been attacked a few times and did not want to take a risk of being careless.

"Excuse me," said the stoneman as I took a step forward. "Yes?" I asked as I turned toward him, only to see him looking at me.

"Would you mind selling me a small piece of curse crystals? A thumbnail size would be enough for me," he asked nervously. It surprised me, but I did not reject him directly and instead looked at him.

"Here," I said, a couple of seconds later, and sending a piece of course crystal. Which surprised him, as it is twice as big as he asked.

While my core needs it. The crystal is bigger than my palm, so I could share a tiny part, and he looked like it is something he really need.

"Thank you. I hope this will be enough to show my gratefulness," he said and took out a glass box with a black flower inside.

I was barely able to keep my emotions in control seeing that.
