Chapter 3721 Orex’s Cube

The second sphere is smaller than the first sphere, but big in a conventional sense. It is as big as the city.

Unlike the green sphere, it is colorful. Seemed to contain all the colors in the world and also the laws.

The sphere was made of ancient runes containing the power of laws. They are not emitting it and thank God for that, but one could easily see, the power of laws in those runes.

'Just what it is?' I couldn't help, but ask myself.

I do not know what it is but, I know this thing is extremely precious. It is not something that should belong to Sovereigns but to the Primes.

The laws are the domains of Primes.

I studied it for a couple of minutes and tried to make sense of it, but it was far too massive for me to read it. The sphere wouldn't be simple to read as common formation, but I have confidence in my abilities.

As for the one made of ancient runes.

Just looking at it my head had started to spin; I don't think, I would be able to decipher it for at least a decade. It might be centuries, considering it is not a simple ancient rune formation, but one containing the power of laws.

I take one last unwilling look, before pulling back my soul sense and sending the speck into my core.

'It seemed like, I will need to check the rooms more carefully.' I said to myself, and the first thing I did, was carefully scan the head of the statue in my hand.

I didn't find any more specks, so focused on the room. Especially in the parts of the statue, but there was nothing.

So, I got out and went back to the rooms, scanning each of them carefully, but no matter how carefully I looked. I found nothing.

Click!

I opened the last room, the eighth one, and scanned it with my soul sense. There was nothing but trash here, but I didn't leave and began to scan everything carefully.

I was quite disappointed when I found nothing, but soon my mood improved when I got out and turned to the wall.

I pressed on the corner of one brick and there was nothing for several seconds, but I waited, and soon, the wall began to turn translucent, till it had completely disappeared.

The wall was fake to protect the most important thing in this place.

The second most important thing. I feel like the speck is far more precious than the thing, I have come here for.

In front of me is a wall of dense formation with a circle in the center. Inside the wall, is another formation; a very powerful one, and each formation had created a vein that would reach the center, wrapping around a mechanical blue cube.

It is for that cube; I had come here.

That cube is the center of all. It is the things, that folded this whole place into tiny things and when it lost the power. It was brought back here, instead of sending it into the spatial sea.

I had seen the signs and predicted it might be where it is.

That is Orex's cube, a construct that only Grade 7 and above artificers could forge. One also needs a power of prime, along that grade.

It is a very difficult thing to forge, even for grade 7, and extremely expensive, but they still try to do it, because of the amazing usage this thing has.

Not just for them, but also for me. Especially for me.

If I make this thing, the core of my abode; then it will give me a bigger and stronger space. I would also be able to shrink the size of it even further than it, which would help me hide it even better.

It had hundreds of other uses, and I want it, but to get it, I will need to solve this formation.

It is not an easy thing, but I am up for the challenge.

So, I quickly took out my abode and entered inside, before closing my eyes and appearing in my core.

There I sat beside my clones and joined them in breaking the formation.

If this place had been a vestige, I wouldn't have come. I have all the things I need and don't need more unless it has the thing, I am trying for.

Two hours passed, and it was evening.

I didn't stop and continued till ten when I stopped to eat before resuming with my clones and stopping only to practice and after that, I slept.

I woke up three hours later, freshened up, and ate before started working on the formation. The day passed, and the night came repeating what I did yesterday and did the same, day after that.

The formation is difficult, that couldn't be solved within a day or two, even with the help of the clones.

If this thing wasn't important; I wouldn't have wasted so much time, but it is tremendously important. At least until I become capable of forging the cube better than this.

It will take a lot of time, and until then I will use this.

It was the fourth day evening when I finally solved the formation and immediately got out of my abode.

I looked at the formation in front of me for several seconds, before waving my hand. Immediately, the formation appeared and moved toward the formation on the other side.

Buzz!

Several seconds later, the formation buzzed, and disappeared.

Knowing I had only a few seconds, I quickly moved my hand and picked the mechanical cube, before pulling it out of its place.

I wouldn't have dared to do this. If it had been in its previous; it would have collapsed the whole damn thing, but here there is no worry.

The cube had lost its power, and it wouldn't affect a single thing if I removed it from its place.
