The news about demons has circulated around the entire world. People were panicking. They had already seen the video about Lucinda, and fear filled their hearts.

While some others refused to believe that demons were real. They kept on disagreeing and saying that the video was a fake, since Alpha Dylan had not made a statement about it.

Those were especially the humans’ thoughts, until an unexpected thing happened. Hybrid creatures attacked the heart/central of Diamond-heart City.

That wasn’t all.

The mastermind who stood among the hybrid creatures and was ordering them to attack turned out to be a demon.

It was black shadow.

And this time around, black shadow was not only in his shadowed form, but his two horns on his forehead were revealed.

"This must be the man-like demon that the Lycan King said attacked his pack twenty years ago!!!". Someone pointed a finger at black shadow as she exclaimed and panicked, before she fainted.

Currently, the entire city is in chaos.

The hotel,

Alpha Anastasia’s pov,

I had finished bathing and had worn some clothes. A gray trouser that had two white stripes on its sides, and a black t-shirt.

Then, I picked up the light gray hoodie from the bed and wore it.

I chose to wear the hoodie because of the cap attached to it.

And oh, I took control over me and Elektra’s body some minutes ago.

Throughout the time I was in the abyss, I didn’t sleep throughout. I have been training myself. The gentle voice finally talked to me again, maybe because it noticed that I needed some assistance with my training.

This time, I decided not to ask her who she was, because I feared that she would refuse to talk to me again like the last time.

But eventually, I am looking forward to knowing who she truly is. The same for the other mean voice, which was also a female’s voice. Though I am still trying to understand something.

Slightly shaking my head, I picked up my cell phone and put it in my trouser pocket.

Yes, I have seen the headlines about the demon (black shadow) who was currently attacking the human cities with the hybrid creatures.

Despite that, I am on my way right now to meet Luca. That was the main reason I came to the human cities. Also, I needed to visit my parents, and with beta Damien here, he would be an obstacle to me.

So, I need to leave in secret, and immediately.

Elektra told me that beta Damien was now aware that black shadow was after Anders.

At first, I thought that it was her who told beta Damien about that, until she told me that it was Anders.

After I am through with everything I need to do, we will return to the shadows’ pack, where I will personally train him.

I expect him to follow me to battle next month.

Speaking of battle, I hope that elder Penelope is coping well at the borders.

Seriously, someone needs to give me everyday updates about what is going on at the border.

I covered my hair with the cap of the hoodie, before I went ahead and opened the window.

"I will be right back. Sleep tight, Fireball, Irving". I blew them a kiss after I said, before I jumped out of the window.

Leaving Anders behind with beta Damien isn’t a bad idea. Now that Beta Damien was aware that black shadow was after Anders, I am certain that Beta Damien would protect Anders if black shadow appeared and dared to try to take Anders away.

I am aware that black shadow is in the human cities, causing havoc, because he had sensed that Anders was here.

Since I knew the location of Luca’s jewelry store, I flew over there without delay. Humans should handle the hybrid creatures and the demon black shadow on their own.

I will step in if things get out of hand even though I am not supposed to help them until I finish my training.

Six minutes passed, and I arrived outside Luca’s jewelry store. I seem to have gotten stronger because I arrived at his store faster than I had expected. My flying skills have improved.

Standing in front of the glass store and staring at it, a smirk formed on my lips.

Don’t let the store deceive you. Within the basement of the store, that is where all of Luca’s technology equipments are kept.

One time, he hacked the city’s worldwide TV channel just to tell me that he loved me.

Of course, no one had any idea that it was him, but I do.

He was so obsessed with me.

But since everyone believed that I was dead, his obsession must have died, right?

But, how did all this even start?

Ah, I remember. His obsession must have begun that day, 5 years ago.

It was a Monday evening, and I was returning to my apartment. I hadn’t bought a car then, so I had to hail a taxi and enter the taxi.

When the taxi man arrived at my destination and parked his taxi off the road, I paid him and was on my way.

All of a sudden, my attention was drawn to a particular man who was dressed in white. Even looking at him from afar, he looked dispirited, and I didn’t fail to notice the bundle of scattered roses in his hand.

He was standing on the edge of the sidewalk.

A fast-coming truck that had lost control sounded its car horn.

Everyone was running away and getting out of the way. But the young man remained in the same position he stood and was unshaken.

’Is he out of his mind?!’. That was my thought, before my eyes widened after I realized that the young man wanted to end his life, because that would be the only explanation why he was not bothered, as the truck drove towards him with its driver yelling at him non stop to quickly get out of the way.

"You are not going to die under my watch! If you want to die, do that when I am not around!". I yelled at him as I ran towards him and pushed him out of the way.

In the process of doing that, I fell with him and twisted my ankle.

What an unfortunate day for me.

Though I saved a life, and that was what mattered the most.
