Chapter 32 - 32: The Awakening of the Eternal Mangekyō: A Battle at the Peak

Madara was finally convinced. With both Su Xiuyu and Izuna advising him to proceed with the eye transplant, he understood that without it, fully utilizing the Mangekyō Sharingan would be difficult.

Su Xiuyu and Mito performed the procedure together. To ensure success, Su Xiuyu even provided Mito with modern ophthalmology monographs for reference. He carefully studied Uchiha Tajima's eyes, analyzing their shape, structure, and chakra meridians before proceeding.

With the combined efforts of the two, the surgery was completed swiftly. However, both Madara and Izuna needed time to recover.

During the Fourth Shinobi War, Madara had treated the Sharingan—and even his arms—like interchangeable plug-ins, almost like a USB drive. But that was only possible because of the Hashirama cells he obtained after his resurrection. Unlike him, Uchiha Sasuke had required significant recovery time after transplanting Itachi's eyes.

Unfortunately, not everyone possessed the insane regeneration of Hashirama Senju. His healing abilities were so ridiculous that he barely needed medical attention.

While Madara and Izuna recuperated, Su Xiuyu temporarily took charge of the Uchiha clan. Madara and Izuna trusted him enough to handle things, especially since he could summon Susanoo with only three tomoe. Even if Hashirama launched an attack, they had nothing to fear.

Meanwhile, a fierce debate erupted within the Senju clan over whether to form an alliance with the Uchiha.

"Clan leader, I strongly oppose this alliance! We've been at war with the Uchiha for centuries. The hatred runs too deep—I don't trust them."

"I agree! My father was killed by the Uchiha. I'll never forget how he died... How can you expect us to work with them?"

Many voiced their opposition, while some remained silent. These were the ones caught between their duty and exhaustion from endless warfare. They didn't necessarily oppose peace, but their loyalty to the Senju made them hesitant.

Tobirama cut through the discussion with a sharp remark. "Brother, if we ally with the Uchiha, we'll be at a disadvantage. Right now, the balance of power between our clans is broken. Even if we want peace, do we really want to enter an alliance where we're the weaker side?"

His words hit the core issue—combat strength. If they proceeded with the alliance, the Uchiha would inevitably gain the upper hand in the new village. That was something the Senju could not afford.

Hashirama, however, remained steadfast. "My people, and Tobirama, one thing is clear—peace is necessary. An alliance is inevitable. I know you still harbor hatred, but do you think the Uchiha don't? The only way to end this chaos is for our two clans to unite and bring in other major and minor shinobi clans. Only then can we stabilize the Land of Fire."

"I know you're all tired of war—I feel the same way. Please, trust me on this. Take this step with me."

Hashirama was about to bow, but his clansmen quickly stopped him. His charisma was what set him apart from Madara—where Madara struggled to win people over, Hashirama inspired loyalty.

"Fine, Clan Leader. We trust you," one of the elders finally said. "We will follow your lead and give this alliance a chance."

Hashirama felt a wave of gratitude. His people's trust only deepened his sense of responsibility.

The only one still unconvinced was Tobirama, who stood there with a sour expression. Hashirama noticed but didn't take offense—after all, Tobirama's disapproval was nothing new.

Smiling, Hashirama draped an arm around his younger brother's shoulder. "Come on, Tobirama, why the long face? The clan has already agreed—help me figure out the details."

Tobirama turned away with a scowl, refusing to answer.

"Alright, alright, don't be mad at me. Since we're moving forward with this, help me come up with a plan to make it work."

Tobirama sighed, knowing his brother wouldn't stop nagging. "Fine. If we're really going through with this, we need to ensure the Senju take the leadership role."

Hashirama blinked. "Is leadership that important? As long as we have an alliance, that shouldn't matter."

Tobirama's grip tightened on Hashirama's arm as he looked him dead in the eye. "It's very important. Leadership determines the direction of the alliance, the rules of the village, and the power structure. If the Uchiha gain control, they'll dominate the other clans, and no one will be able to stop them.

And if that happens, the Senju will be trapped. We won't be able to challenge them without tearing apart the very village we built."

"Brother, do you understand what I'm saying?"

Hashirama took a deep breath as realization dawned on him. "I get what you're saying, Tobirama. But right now, forming the alliance is the priority. We'll deal with leadership later."

Tobirama let out a dry chuckle. "Knew you'd say that."

But it didn't matter—he had already made up his mind. If Hashirama refused to strategize, then he would handle things himself. Once the alliance was formed, he would quietly work behind the scenes, rallying support from other clans to ensure the Senju held power.

Hashirama might be too trusting of Madara, but Tobirama wasn't.

As soon as the meeting ended, Tobirama wasted no time. He gathered a few trusted clan members and set out to visit the Sarutobi, Shimura, and Utane clans, securing private agreements with them.

Meanwhile, Su Xiuyu was unaware of Tobirama's quiet maneuvering—or perhaps he simply didn't care. He knew that true power didn't come from political games but from sheer strength. If needed, he could simply flip the table over.

Besides, the Sarutobi, Shimura, and Utane were minor players. Among them, only the Sarutobi clan had any real reputation. They were a mid-sized ninja clan, barely making a name for themselves in the Warring States Period.

In Su Xiuyu's eyes, the only clan worth paying attention to was the Hyuga. Unlike the others, they had an ace up their sleeve—Hyuga Tennin and their distant relatives on the moon. That alone made them a real factor in the equation.

Not every minor clan was worth an Uchiha's time.

With the Senju finally reaching a consensus, they sent representatives to the Uchiha with an official invitation for an alliance.

After some discussion, both sides agreed on an auspicious day to hold the formal unification ceremony of their two clans.

The foundation for the future Hidden Leaf Village had been set.

"Open your eyes slowly—yes, take it slow. How do you feel, Lord Izuna?"

Su Xiuyu's maid, Rei, gently removed the gauze from Izuna eyes.

The sudden light made Izuna flinch, raising a hand to shield his vision. His sight, initially blurred, gradually sharpened. In front of him stood Su Xiuyu with his usual calm expression, along with Rei, and his elder brother, Madara, whose face was filled with anticipation.

"Relax, Madara. I told you Izuna would be fine. Soon, it will be your turn."

As Izuna's vision fully cleared, he could feel the chakra surging in his eyes—unhindered, smooth, and even more potent than before.

"Brother, don't worry. I feel fine—better than fine. There's no sluggishness, and my Sharingan feels even stronger than before. The only thing missing is the unique abilities of the Mangekyō, but even without them, my chakra flow feels more powerful than before," Izuna said in surprise. He hadn't expected that after receiving a pair of fully-developed three-tomoe Sharingan, his Sharingan power would actually increase.

Madara's tense shoulders finally relaxed. "Good... that's good."

"Madara, it's your turn now."

Su Xiuyu carefully removed the gauze from Madara's eyes. As he adjusted to the light, his vision became sharper than ever before. It wasn't just an improvement—it was a transformation. The haziness that had plagued his previous Mangekyō was gone, replaced by an overwhelming surge of power. His new eyes pulsed with energy, a force so vast it felt like it could shatter reality itself.

"This... this power... Is this the true strength of the Uchiha's Sharingan?" Madara muttered, momentarily lost in the sea of newfound energy. "I feel... like a god."

Su Xiuyu smirked. "Feeling omnipotent already, Madara?"

Madara scratched the back of his head, uncharacteristically humble for once. He knew this surgery had only been possible because of Izuna and Su Xiuyu's insistence.

Turning to the mirror, he admired the intricate new patterns in his eyes. Power radiated from his very being. With these eyes, Hashirama... no, even Hashirama was no longer beyond reach.

"Su Xiuyu, we need to fight."

Madara's voice was thick with anticipation. His fingers curled into fists as his chakra surged. "I need to test this power. I can't hold back any longer."

Su Xiuyu's grin widened. "Madara, you better be ready. You don't stand a chance."

"Hah! We'll see about that," Madara laughed. His excitement was infectious, the battle-lust of the Uchiha clan burning in his eyes.

The air crackled with energy as both unleashed their chakra. The ground trembled beneath them.

"Su Xiuyu! Madara! Take this fight somewhere else!" Mito's sharp voice cut through the tension. "Don't unleash your chakra inside the Uchiha compound!"

Realizing they were disturbing the clan grounds, the two warriors instantly reined in their energy and vanished in a blur.

Valley of the End

Su Xiuyu and Madara stood at opposite ends of the battlefield, the massive valley stretching between them.

"Madara, the last time you were here, you fought Hashirama, didn't you?"

"Yeah." Madara's long hair whipped in the wind. "This is where everything began... and where everything will end. Fitting that we call it the Valley of the End."

Su Xiuyu's smirk deepened. "Madara, you have no idea how long I've waited for this. Remember? The last time we fought, I was the winner. You and Hashirama were both losers."

Madara's face turned red. "Damn it, you're still bringing that up?! That was when we were kids, and you—"

Su Xiuyu laughed. "Doesn't change the fact that I won."

"Enough talk! Let's fight! Susanoo!"

A colossal blue Susanoo erupted around Madara, forming into a fully armored warrior. The massive figure, already over a hundred meters tall, continued to grow, its armor thickening, its wings spreading wide.

"You're the first to witness this power, Su Xiuyu. Don't disappoint me!"

Su Xiuyu let out a laugh. "Madara, you still don't get it, do you?"

With a single hand sign, the ground trembled. "Earth Bending Technique—Rock Armor Titan!"

A gigantic rock colossus rose from the earth, mirroring the size of Madara's Susanoo.

Madara scoffed. "You think you can stop me with that?"

"Relax, I'm just getting started," Su Xiuyu said. "Susanoo—Majestic Susanoo!"

Golden chakra burst forth, fusing with the rock titan, transforming it into a behemoth of armor and raw power. Its wings unfurled, casting a golden glow that eclipsed the battlefield.

Madara's eyes widened.

"You ready now, Madara?" Su Xiuyu grinned.

Madara gritted his teeth. "Condensation!"

His Complete Susanoo solidified into a two-faced, four-armed warrior, its ethereal blades gleaming.

"Then let's go, Su Xiuyu!"

Their colossal warriors charged. When their blades clashed, shockwaves erupted, tearing through the valley and sending hurricanes of force across the land.

The ground shattered, trees were uprooted, and the very air itself quaked under the force of their battle.

The Uchiha Compound

The entire Uchiha clan felt it. The earth trembled violently, buildings shook, and even the air seemed to hum with power.

"An earthquake?" one shinobi asked.

"No..." another muttered, eyes wide. "It's them. Madara and Su Xiuyu are fighting."

A message spread quickly: "You can watch from a safe distance, but don't get too close."

The moment they heard, every able-bodied Uchiha dropped what they were doing and rushed to the battlefield.

When they arrived, what they saw left them speechless.

Towering above them were two titanic warriors, golden and blue, clashing with godlike force. Every strike sent shockwaves ripping through the land. The wind from their attacks alone knocked shinobi off their feet.

One young Uchiha stared in awe. "This... This is Susanoo?"

Another swallowed hard. "Are they even human anymore?"

"They're gods," someone whispered. "Gods of the Uchiha."

Nearby, Mito and Izuna stood within a protective barrier, watching intently.

"Has Su Xiuyu really reached this level?" Mito murmured, admiration shining in her eyes. To her, power only made a man more attractive.

Masahiko, another elder of the Uzumaki clan, sighed. "Our clan made the right call betting on Su Xiuyu."

Hibiki, standing beside him, rolled his eyes. "If you're so impressed, why didn't you see it coming earlier?"

Masahiko muttered under his breath, "You're the one who's useless, not me."

Hibiki nearly choked in frustration.
