My Wife is the Asura Empress-Chapter 154: Nyla's room at her Grandma's House

Nyla and their grandma continued their conversation as she told her more things about their adventure and her boyfriend but she didn't tell her about the castle or being his wife. She only revealed to her granny they were lovers and may make it official in the future.

"Granny, we will go now. We have to return back to military school before night." Nyla said, as the time was ticking and they had other stuff to do as well.

"I thought my child would stay tonight with me..." Grandma's said she wanted her to stay because she rarely visited home.

"Next time granny, Today we have other business to settle together." She responded.

"Okay...I won't let you leave next time when you come. you have to stay with me" The old lady said, as she agreed to let her go today.

"Yes, Granny," Nyla spoke as she stood from the couch.

As it was time to leave, The magenta-haired beauty embraced her grandmother.

After separating, the old lady moved towards Rio and hugged him, as she whispered in his ear, "Welcome to the family, young man."

She continued with a normal voice after letting go, "I will pray to heaven that you both always stay happy."

"Thank you," Rio responded with a smile as he was grateful and delighted to have met such a sweet old woman.

The duo left the room as Nyla moved in another direction on the second floor.

"Aren't we leaving?" He asked, his voice puzzled.

"No, I need some of my dresses since we have come here." She said as she moved towards her room.

Nyla led Rio through the narrow hallway, their footwear's heels clicking against the marble of the second floor.

She opened the door to her room and gestured for him to enter. Rio's eyes observed the inside, watching the elegant decor and the different purple patterns.

However, what caught his attention the most was the wall opposite the bed.

There was a collage of frames in which several pictures of the crimson-haired boy coming out of the teaching building and going into the apartment were there. The pictures were taken in a stylish manner from side angles.

Rio stared at them in shock, as he didn't expect something like this to happen.

Nyla walked up beside him, a shy smile on her face.

She spoke, "I know it might seem a little weird, But I can't live without having my sweetie beside me. When I got upset I just talk to these pictures and gaze at you."

Rio turned to look at her adorable face, and a mix of emotions rose in his heart. The boy was flattered, of course, but also a little taken aback.

"Thank you, Nyla, Thanks for loving me when I didn't even love you," he said, placing his hands on her cheeks.

Nyla's face was brightened with a lively smile as she was afraid at first he might dislike it but that wasn't the case.

"I was too scared to tell you so I hid those in my room at the grand dew garden in case you ever come there. But I thought you wouldn't visit me here so I didn't hide them. And now since I'm yours I don't fear you would be mad at me...even if you did I will complain to big sis." She said in her jolly voice.

"Why would I be mad at such an adorable girl like you...at least now you can say to me those things you used to talk about in these pictures." He said, withdrawing his hands from her cheeks.

They stood there for a moment, looking at each other, both of them were smiling as they stared into one another's eyes.

But then Rio leaned in and pressed his lips on her forehead, and all the words they needed were said without ever being spoken.

After the forehead kiss, Nyla went to bring out some clothes from her cupboards and put them inside a bag that she gave Rio to carry.

Fifteen minutes later, they sat in the blue car as Rio put the bag in the trunk of the vehicle.

Nyla turned to look at her villa one last time before starting the engine with a roar it shot out of the Mailon family's villa's campus to return back to their golden seal military academy in the white bridge city.

The returning journey took them an hour as the duo stopped by a shop to grab some snacks and drinks.

By 5 pm they were both walking towards their apartment in the grand dew garden.

The sun was about to set on the horizon, some students were strolling around the campus and most were already left for the land of asura on their own adventures to get stronger.

As they reached the apartment door, Nyla received a message.

*Ding!*

She took out her cell phone from her purse and checked the phone.

Rio turned towards her to see as he also read the message, the boy was carrying her bag full of dresses she brought from her home.

"what else you bought?" He asked, raising his eyebrows.

"You will know...just keep my bag in your hall, I will bring the package from my room. It should be left outside my main door." She said as she went upstairs.

Rio shook his head and opened the door with one hand while carrying the bag with the other.

He entered the big hall and placed her stuff on the couch before sitting on the other one.

After a minute, Nyla came back bringing the package in her hand.

"Guess what is it?" She said, a mysterious smile shining on her adorable face as she sat beside him.

He just shrugged as he didn't have any idea what the girl had ordered.
