The female guards were taken aback by the trio's appearance, their eyes widened as they saw the dirt and grime that stained Nyla, Rio, and Helia. They quickly snapped to attention as the environment become chilly from Lia's fierce gaze toward them.

They forgot for a second, it was rude to stare at them and make them uncomfortable as they never had seen someone from the royal family coming into the empress villa in this condition, Considering Nyla was also the princess and adopted daughter of Emperor Dylan.

The female guards were afraid they would get into trouble so they stopped staring at the trio and bowed their heads by bending ninety degrees.

Nyla and company made their way ahead as they entered the Empress Villa. The girls went into their own room while Rio went along with Lia to his main bedroom where he usually lived.

The white-haired beauty took a set of cloth and a white towel for him as she placed them in the bathroom.

She said, "Let me ask Yami to prepare the night meals for all of us and send them to Nyla's bedroom. I will also ask to place a dining table in that room with enough chairs so we can eat in peace and privacy."

The boy nodded as he could already guess his wifey hadn't eaten anything alone as she was worrying about three of them all day in the oval-shaped building.

He gazed towards the large bathtub and all the bathing utensils with a delighted expression before stepping into the bathtub.

Rio revolved the moon-shaped switch to turn on the shower that was up above his head, the cold water enveloped him, gradually washing away the grime and dirt from his body. He leaned back, closing his eyes and letting out a sigh of relief.

The cool refreshing water droplets fell on his tired body, seeping into his muscles as It helped to relax them, and for the first time after spending so many hours at the Fiery Southern Desert, he felt truly at peace.

Rio remembered the torturesome conditions of the scorching desert, the blistering sun, and the unforgiving far extended landscape in the sea of sands.

He also thought about the final trial and saintess questions, as he finally became the master of the Exalted Clover Ring.

They had to go through a rough journey to reach their mission. However now, in the comfort of the refreshing water in the bathtub, all of the tiredness from the expedition seemed to melt away.

The water lapped at his skin, gently cleansing and rejuvenating every pore. Rio felt his muscles soothing, and his mind calm.

He opened his eyes and gazed at the ceiling, feeling a sense of tranquillity wash over him. For a moment, he forgot about everything else and simply basked in the relaxing sensation of the falling water that collided against his skin.

After staying in the water for thirty minutes, Rio felt refreshed, both physically and mentally. With a faint smile on his face, he finished his bath, as he used the towel to dry his body and drowned in the new set of clothes that Lia had left behind for him.

When he walked out of the bathroom, he didn't find Lia there and went outside towards Nyla's room where Lia was going to set up their dinner together.
