Chapter 66 -66: Difficult to Fly (2)_1
Jing Haohao didn’t know how much time had passed. Finally, she climbed off Shen Liangnian’s chest, picked up a blanket from the side and carefully covered him with it. Then she reached out and stroked his slightly stiff hair before turning around, grabbing her bag and heading towards the door.
Jing Haohao opened the door and was met by the sight of the chauffeur instructed by Liang Chen in the previous two instances.
“Miss Jing, Mr. Chen sent me to pick you up.”
Jing Haohao sensed what was about to happen. Although she knew it was inevitable, when the time finally arrived, her heart contracted uncontrollably.
Jing Haohao clenched her fists and stared at the chauffeur, saying, “I refuse.”
“Miss Jing, don’t make this difficult.” After a pause, the chauffeur continued, “And don’t make me use force.”
Jing Haohao swallowed her saliva, turned back to glance at the peacefully sleeping Shen Liangnian, and then she lifted her hand, closed the door, and walked towards the elevator.
The chauffeur silently followed behind her. Upon reaching the elevator, he extended his hand and pressed the button.
The chauffeur was driving the same Audi A8 that had picked up Jing Haohao before. Jing Haohao got into the car, and as she inhaled the familiar, light, and refined scent inside, a wave of nausea suddenly swept over her.

The chauffeur dropped Jing Haohao off at the villa on Half Mountain. The servants inside seemed to have already received news of her impending arrival. They had been waiting at the front door of the villa. As soon as she alighted from the car, they immediately handed her a pair of slippers, waited for her to change into them, and then said, “Miss Jing, Mr. Chen instructed that you wait for him in his room.”
Jing Haohao’s lips were tightly sealed as she stared at Liang Chen’s bedroom on the second floor, motionless.
The servant patiently stood aside, not uttering a word.
After a long while, Jing Haohao finally took steps forward towards the elevator, and then upstairs.
Another servant on the second floor saw her approach, inputted the passcode for Chen’s bedroom, and opened the door for her.
As Jing Haohao entered, the servant followed her in and asked, “Miss Jing, would you like something to drink?”
Jing Hao shook her head, her voice slightly hoarse as she said, “No, thank you.”
Nevertheless, the servant still poured Jing Haohao a glass of hot water.
Before leaving the room, the servant handed Jing Haohao a sealed envelope, saying, “Miss Jing, this was just delivered by order of Mr. Chen. He instructed that it be hand over to you when you arrived for you to review alone.”
Jing Haohao looked skeptically at the envelope, furrowing her eyebrows, then took it and nodded at the servant.
The servant gave her a slight smile and then exited the room.
The luxuriously decorated bedroom fell silent. Jing Haohao sat still for a while before she opened the envelope. What she pulled out was a paper bag, and when she opened that, she found a CD.
There were no markings on the CD. Jing Haohao was unsure about what it was, and so held it in her hand and examined it closely, wondering why Liang Chen had given her a CD.
Right now, all Jing Haohao could think about was how to escape from Liang Chen. She had no interest in the CD, so without giving it much thought, she stood up, went to the television and DVD player, popped in the CD, and turned on the television, adjusting the channel.
