"Ah! President Land, it’s you!" Eva Miller almost couldn’t speak due to the hot cabbage in the hot pot. Upon seeing Asher Land, she quickly spat out the food in her mouth without any concern for her image.

Sophie Smith was hiding under the table, reluctant to get up.

"The movie starts filming in a couple of days, and I have work-related matters to discuss with you." Asher Land said before turning to leave, very sure that Sophie would follow.

But Sophie stood still, without any intention of moving.

Didn’t he say last night he wanted to discuss the leading lady role in "City of Desire"? But instead, he acted like a beast. She wouldn’t be fooled again and didn’t want any association with this treacherous man.

"Hey, Sophie, why are you just standing there? President Land has already gone outside, hurry up and follow him!" Eva Miller couldn’t hold back any longer, walked over, and pushed her toward the door. "Now President Land is your major backer, serve him well."

Asher Land sat in the car with a cold face, silent. Damn it, she made him wait?

"Get out, I have things to do." Asher Land dismissed Robert Williams, the driver, and sat in the driver’s seat himself.

Sophie arrived late; she knew Asher Land’s mood was surely bad right now. She opened the car door and sat in the back seat.
