"If it is not a curse then what is it?" Lime suddenly exclaimed as she did feel her purification magic did nothing as there was no repelling force compared to when she used it on beings that are cursed.

"True Saint Lime, what do you mean they are… the Undead Prince and… a Black Fairy?" The minister stated as he suddenly got weak in the knees.

"Oh! I am still in disguise. There. That should do it." Creepysoo stated as he released his Cursed Appearance spell that changed his form to the opposite of what he is and that is of a living being.

"Huawah!" The minister suddenly screamed in shock as he was being disrespectful to the Undead King.

"Why are you so afraid? It is not like your kingdom did not interact with ours though. We even bought some sanitation devices from the Gnome Kingdom if I recall correctly. Thanks to that, the undead do not smell like rotten cheese anymore. At least, that is what the guests say since I cannot smell at all." Creepysoo stated as his incredibly pale and ashy skin could now be seen clearly.

"What about her! Do not tell me that she will look even more hideous." The minister shouted as he pointed at Hexy that has a very unkept appearance and dark ragged robes.

"That is quite rude. This is what I normally look like. This is very comfy as this cursed gown regulates temperature to the best degree possible. It ensures that I do not even sweat even when inside a volcano. Trust me on this because I have tested it myself." Hexy retorted as she found her dark ragged robes incredibly aesthetic and pleasing to her eyes.

"Make sure to not say that again, minister. They are still royalty like the king and queen there. Also, they have hidden guards that accompanied them. Anymore disrespect and you might be sleeping forever the next day." Lime stated.

"I apologize. Please accept my humblest apologies." The minister stated as he basically prostrated to earn forgiveness.

"Do not really care about what you said." Hexy added as she started looking around.

"Do not worry about it. It does not bother me in the slightest. What does bother me is what is suddenly draining their energy which keeps them in this cycle of sleep." Creepysoo added which made the minister sigh with relief.

"If it is not a curse then what is it?" Lime asked as even she does not know.

"If big brother were here then he might have an idea. He is always knowledgeable about stuff that is out of the ordinary. He could see things that even I cannot see with his special eyes after all." Creepysoo stated.

"Big brother? You mean the guild master?" Lime asked.

"Yeah. Wait! Maybe I can ask him about his insights. I will call him but do not expect a response since he is currently in the eastern continent." Creepysoo stated as he contacted Adrian.

"There is something strange though." Hexy suddenly stated which caught the minister's attention and even Lime's.

"What is it?" Lime asked Hexy.

"I get why the other churches told you that it is a curse because they are basically acting abnormal. They also sleep too much which is not what their body clocks are programmed to do. Still, there is no miasma or any cursed energy of the sort. It is speculation but I think I know what is happening." Hexy stated.

"Big brother is busy with something as they are being chased by numerous knives wielding undead as per his words which is why he immediately cancelled the call. What did I miss?" Creepysoo stated.

"Hexy told us that she thinks she has an idea on what is happening to them." Lime stated.

"Not to them specifically but to the entire kingdom." Hexy added which made the minister jolt in surprise.

"Can you please elaborate on why the entire kingdom is affected? Also, why is the royal family the one that is affected the most?" The minister stated as he was willing to accept any explanation at this point as it has been too long, and their kingdom is basically shutting down.

"Do you remember when I said when I entered the Gnome Kingdom?" Hexy asked Creepysoo and Lime.

"Yeah. You said that it felt eerily gloomy. I was actually shocked that you said that." Creepysoo replied as he remembered as these are words that Hexy rarely uses to describe a place.

Hexy would often call a place full of curses as exciting or challenging but she would never call it gloomy. She would not say this unless she felt it which is incredibly rare as she likes being in places with these atmospheres. The fact that she described it that way made a mark on Creepysoo's mind as this was the first time ever since they started talking.

"Why are you shocked?" Lime asked as she was totally lost in the conversation of the two.

"How should I say this? Places with curses often makes my skin tingle if that is an accurate way of describing it but the Gnome Kingdom made me lethargic. Even getting inside the castle where the royal family is said to be cursed did not make me feel any excitement. Black Fairies are beings that can use curses and wield them freely, but the kingdom itself does not have any trace of it." Hexy stated.

"If there are no curses or miasma… then how can you explain what happened to the royal family?" The minister asked.

"I can only feel negative emotions lingering in the entire kingdom with the castle being the center of it all. You see curses are intricate like spells and any tampering could destroy it. Another component of curses are negative emotions which determines the intensity of the curse, but it is only one component." Hexy stated.

"Are you saying that the royal family is not cursed but overwhelmed by negative emotions?" Creepysoo asked.

"Not the royal family but the entire kingdom itself is engulfed in it." Hexy stated as she looked at the gloomy skies above the Gnome Kingdom.
