Chapter 76 - 76: Minina's Unique Strength

"You are silly and cute." Nia stretched out her hand and gently rubbed Minina's head.

"Huh?"

"It seems like the town you live in is very peaceful," Nia said, looking at a cloud floating across the sky. "Your appetite and your strength are not something you should be ashamed to show to others. Your uniqueness is the embodiment of your talent."

Only those who have experienced it will understand what a strong body means in this ocean. Looking at the bewildered look on Minina's face, Rhodes couldn't help but sigh in his heart again; she truly was born in a happy place, likely far from war, where people lived and worked in peace and contentment.

"I support your dream!" Rhodes declared. "But it's not to support the idea that you want to be like the average person. I simply support you as a partner and encourage you to bravely pursue your dreams." He added thoughtfully, "Moreover, if your idea can be realized, it would be a super military ration. Perhaps it could be called a Military Ration Pill?"

"Military Ration Pills?" Minina tilted her head. "Don't worry about it." Rhodes waved his hand. "However, although you don't understand this truth now, you should have felt it. If you don't have extraordinary physical fitness, you can't live alone on this island for so long." He continued, "Also, if your physical fitness could become stronger, you wouldn't have to worry about the wild beasts that might attack you, and you would be able to enjoy the food you carefully prepared earlier."

Minina blinked. It seems to be true.

An Encounter with a Giant

"Ga ba ba ba!" A loud laugh exploded in their ears.

"This is... a giant!" Nia dodged instantly, appearing in front of Minina to protect her. Her body was tense as she looked at the giant who had appeared out of nowhere. From her angle, she could only see the other person's enormous face, much bigger than her entire body. An exaggerated smile stretched across it, and the yellow beard on his chin resembled a broom.

"Finally, I meet you, a little girl who can cook delicious food!" The giant stared at Minina with his huge eyes. "Have you finished today's food? What a pity! I really like the food you cook! Crunchy—"

"So you ate them all!" Minina exclaimed, a look of realization dawning on her face.

"I'm sorry, the food you cooked smelled so good, I couldn't help but eat it! However, I also made barbecue and wanted to invite you to taste it, but every time I didn't see you, I could only find the prepared food."

What a snail girl... Rhodes observed a moment of silence for Minina.

"Today is such a great day! I finally get to meet your loved ones, as well as other people I rarely see. Come to my house and be my guest!" The giant finally set his sights on Rhodes and Nia. "I will treat you well!"

Giants' Feast and Elbaf's Judgment

They followed the giant, named Brogy, back to his so-called home, which was a cleared piece of land. On the way, Nia witnessed the terrifying fighting power of the giants firsthand. Despite his massive body, Brogy possessed agility completely inconsistent with his size, performing various incredibly delicate movements. No matter how large the beast, he could destroy it with a single axe. The skewers of meat he offered were from a stubborn Tyrannosaurus Rex.

"The meat is ready, eat it!" Brogy pointed to the large skewer of grilled meat.

"How can I possibly eat..." Looking at the piece of meat that was several times bigger than her, Nia couldn't help but complain in a low voice.

"Then I won't be polite!" Rhodes grabbed the skewer of meat, which was much bigger than himself, and began to chew it quickly.

"Thank you very much!" After taking a look at the giant, Minina also started eating the barbecue. The piece of meat, taller than herself, was lifted by her with ease.

"This meat is so delicious!" While enjoying the meal, Rhodes couldn't help but give Brogy a thumbs up.

"Ga ba ba ba, as long as you like it! I haven't seen anyone in a long time." "Another helping, Uncle Brogy!" As he spoke, Rhodes had already finished the barbecue in his hands.

"It's really interesting. You don't look big, but you're a great eater!" Brogy handed Rhodes another piece of barbecue. "You're pretty good, Rhodes! I want to have a couple of drinks with you, but it's a pity that we've already drunk up all the wine on the island. Gah pa pa pa!"

"As for wine, we have plenty on board!" Rhodes put down the barbecue. With the life-restoring ability he now commanded, he could quickly decompose and absorb the food he ate. He estimated he could probably digest an entire dinosaur. "I'll go get the wine over, let's have a party together!"

"Ga ba ba ba, I'm already looking forward to it. It's been a while since I had a drink of good wine!" Brogy couldn't help but burst out laughing.

Boom-- A roar sounded again.

"Time is up!" Brogy stood up and picked up his axe. "I'm going to duel! I'll have a drink with you when I come back!"

"Duel?" Nia, completely unable to eat any more, had nothing else to do, so she immediately spoke out of curiosity.

"In our giant country, Elbaf, there is a rule," Brogy explained. "If there is a dispute between us and neither side gives in, we will have to accept the judgment of the God of Elbaf. The God of Elbaf will always protect the right people and let the right people survive." He continued, "I've also been arguing with others. Now this island is our arena. The right person will win the battle and survive!"

"In other words, whoever has the bigger fist is right," Nia interjected, glancing at Rhodes as she spoke. This is very similar to Rhodes's philosophy.

"Ga ba ba ba, our battle has been going on for a hundred years! And there is still no winner!" Brogy declared. "I don't know when it started, but we regarded the eruption of the central volcano as the signal for the start of the duel. Now, the signal has been sent! I'm going, Rhodes boy!"

Brogy took his axe and rushed to the battlefield.

Boom!!! The next moment, accompanied by a loud bang, a violent vibration came, and the terrifying air wave almost uprooted the trees.

"So strong!!" Nia looked at the two giants fighting a little distance away. Even though the distance was so far, her body still reacted instinctively. The black cat ears on her head trembled uncontrollably, and her pupils contracted unconsciously.

"This is instinct!" Feeling her hair standing up, Nia's mouth corners curled up slightly, revealing a dangerous smile. This is the body's instinctive reaction after discovering a strong enemy. Her body is craving a fight!

Rhodes and Nia meet Minina, a kind but surprisingly naive gourmet who has been sharing her food with the giant Brogy unknowingly. Rhodes, intrigued by Minina's unique strength and prodigious appetite, supports her dream of creating concentrated food. Their conversation is interrupted by Brogy, who invites them to his home for a feast, only to be called away for his century-long duel with another giant, fulfilling the "Judgment of Elbaf." Nia observes the giants' immense power, her body instinctively craving a fight.

What is the nature of the other giant, and what secrets does their century-long duel hold? How will Rhodes utilize Minina's unique abilities and appetite now that she's joined the crew? And with Nia's instincts now fully engaged by the giants' battle, what role will she play in the unfolding events on Little Garden?
