The Phantom Boar crashed to the ground, dissolving into a wisp of green smoke that slowly drifted away. Only a silver coin and a few bottles of potion exploded from its death remained on the ground.

Ah, this dumb boar was knocked to death by the Bone Worm, not bad at all. Su Ran took a few steps forward, collected the exploded items, and tossed them in his bag while he continued to direct the Bone Worm onwards.

On his journey, Su Ran had killed three Phantom Boars when suddenly, he heard the sounds of fighting in the distance.

Quietly stalking towards the noise, Su Ran found three teams engaged in fiery levelling. He hid behind a large tree and observed their stats. These players were all relatively low-level, around 20. Su Ran glanced at his paper-thin health bar and sighed. He was in no position to fight with the players at this time, it was better to tread carefully.

What annoyed Su Ran the most was that players had a particular ultimate skill, Call Friends. "Bitter Melon Hero, this monster is about to die, go and pull another one!" A handsome warrior told the Shield-Warrior next to him.

Chuckles escaped from the person named Bitter Melon Hero, "Today, we’re really fortunate. All we meet are lone Phantom Wild wolves, much easier to kill than the Phantom Boar! Winter Melon Superman, look! Those two teams are so unfortunate! They ended up drawing three Phantom Wild Wolves, giving them a hard time."

Winter Melon Superman erupted into laughter, "That’s natural, good luck naturally leads to success!"

At their side, Ultraman West Melon was a slim, young girl who, while attacking the Phantom Wild Wolf with a fireball, shouted, "Stop dawdling, Bitter Melon Hero, go and pull the monster quickly!"

A calm voice sounded just in time. The person was none other than Cucumber Lover from the Fruit Family. Light surged all around Cucumber Lover, transforming into a high-level healing skill. The Qi Healing Technique was cast upon Bitter Gourd Knight.

Bitter Gourd Knight’s blood level rose quickly, turning the tables on his dire situation. With a quick Shield Attack on one of the wolves, he took the opportunity while it was stunned and called to his teammates to escape toward the Dancing Demons guild’s players.

"Oh, little cucumber, surprisingly you mastered a high-level healing technique?" jeered a Berserker from the Dancing Demons Guild, a character named Evil Demon. "Why don’t you join my guild? Big brother has lots and lots of cucumbers, enough for you!"

"Cough cough, Evil Demon, bro, talk less or you might get harmonized..." Shield Warrior coughed a bit and pointed at Evil Demon. They were twin brothers in reality, with identical faces but very different personalities.

"Get lost!" Cucumber Lover, who looked gentle, retorted angrily. Her name was a sticking point. At the time, she was enticed by her classmates to join the Fruit Family, and they told her to adopt the name Cucumber Lover. She was not aware of the depths of this title until it was too late. Every time a player saw her name, snickers and pointing would follow. After she realized why her name was attracting so much attention, she was nearly driven insane.

Evil Demon was having a power match with Wintermelon Superman and found to his surprise that a Bone Worm had leaped at his feet and promptly slapped itself onto his face. Angrily, Evil Demon wondered why among all these players, the Bone Worm had to burrow through and attack him. Did he look particularly threatening?!

Evil Demon had just deflected Wintermelon Superman’s resentful strike. His club hadn’t even fallen on the Bone Worm before he noticed the ground was rumbling.

Shadowy figures of Phantom Bears, Wild Wolves, and Hyenas began to fill up the player’s vision. The whole of the Dark Forest was filled with these phantom creatures, all of them charging towards these dozen or so players. Actually, to be precise, they were charging towards the Bone Worm.

All the players were scared out of their wits and took to their heels!

Su Ran chuckled, watching the players fleeing like dogs with their tails tucked. Once the players were gone, he could proceed with his tasks.

But gradually, Su Ran’s expression started to change.

"What the hell, you could at least run in a different direction!!" Su Ran blurted out in annoyance. He quickly got up and, like the players had done earlier, fled!

It turned out that the players were, quite accidentally, fleeing in Su Ran’s direction. No wonder Su Ran was swearing!
