After Victoria finished her breakfast and walked out of the villa, she was met by two men wearing black suits. They didn’t appear to be particularly tall or imposing, with one of them having a rather cold demeanor.
“Good morning, Miss Garcia!” The two men almost spoke in unison.
Victoria was a little puzzled, as she didn’t recognize these two people in front of her.
One of the more enthusiastic man stepped forward and introduced himself, “I’m Howard, and this is Alan. We were sent by Director Johnson.”
“What did Director Johnson send you here for?” Victoria asked, puzzled.
Howard smiled slightly and said, “Director Johnson said that you might need Alan and I for the things you’re going to do next. He also said that as long as it’s something you command, whether it’s climbing mountains of knives or descending into a sea of fire, we’ll follow you through it all.”
With a quick glance, Victoria noticed that despite not being the most physically imposing, the two men were definitely well-trained martial artists.
“In that case, I won’t be polite.” Victoria didn’t show any hesitation, nor did she call Arnold to question why he knew that she would need help for the upcoming tasks.
She wasn’t a naive woman. Since she had chosen to make a deal, she would accept the convenience that the deal brought to her with peace of mind. Knowing that Arnold was behind her made her at least three times less worried while doing things.
