Victoria stared at his handsome yet despicable face, and wished she could mark his face with ten crosses, to form the character for ‘despicable’.
“You tell me this only because you can’t afford to offend the Johnson family. Stop pretending to be all about revenge. You’re not even worthy of the title ‘fop’,” Victoria said, casting him a disdainful glance. She wouldn’t even look at him directly.
Harry was so angry he gritted his teeth.
Victoria had Howard press him for more details, but she soon realized that Harry truly didn’t know much, so they tied him up tightly and threw him back on his yacht.
When Howard threw Harry onto the yacht, he did an amusing thing.
He tied Harry to a pillar, completely naked, and took many pictures. Then he woke up the woman, Aubrey, forced her to do some indecent things in front of Harry, and took even more pictures.
In the end, they knocked out both of them, before quickly returning to Victoria’s side.
The trio didn’t stay in Sea City for long. They took a plane directly back to Metropolis.
Before boarding the plane, Victoria dialed a call to her second sister, Amelia Wilson.
“Ava, I’ve retrieved your video for you.”
Over the phone, Amelia’s excited yet choked-up voice came through, “Big sister, you’re amazing!”
Ignoring her flattery, Victoria asked directly, “What’s your relationship with Kaelin Johnson?”
“Kaelin Johnson… sounds familiar.”
“From another branch of the Johnson family, the second daughter, Kaelin Johnson.”
Victoria had a good understanding of the relationships of the Six Major Financial Groups in Authority Country, all due to her grandmother.
“I’ve never even seen that young lady before, I’ve only heard of her,” replied Amelia. Then quickly, she realised something was wrong, “Sis, why are you suddenly asking about my relationship with her?”
“Nothing special, I just thought you knew each other.” Victoria didn’t tell the truth. The Johnson family wasn’t someone to mess with, especially when Arnold Johnson also was involved. She didn’t want her sister to get involved.
After a few more words, Victoria hung up the call.
By the time Victoria flew back to Metropolis from Sea City, it was already dark.
A piercing cold wind blew in her face. With only a three-hour flight in between, Victoria once again deeply felt the stark contrast.
Usually a half-hour drive from the airport to Arnold’s villa, it took nearly an hour due to traffic.
Timing was just right, she hadn’t missed anything.
