Perfect Avatar-Chapter 234: All Out War

At the foot of the cliff, hell had begun. The young brunette’s body began to grow, her hands covered in sharp claws and her teeth transformed into fangs.

Instantly her body grew disproportionately, her torso expanded, her back towered over the cliff, then her arms and legs became giant legs and while her entire body was covered in white fur, her head took the shape of distinct from a wolf.

The transformation ended with a shock wave, cracking part of the cliff wall. The emissaries raised their head and to greet them, the giant wolf uttered a tremendous howl, a cry from another world.

The beast towered the cliff, her head largely above the group, and further behind, the little blond girl shouted, and the knights rushed to the cliff.

"Damn, it was a trap! Everyone, attack!!!" Eryl shouted, jumping first on the monster.

"...Freya..." Liliana murmured, she took a quick look at Marie and both followed the maid, soon joined by Nefertari.

In times of great danger, a division would form between people and while one side would turn into heroes, the other would turn into victims.

Everyone else watched the disaster coming to them, it was a surreal scene that no one was ready to face, yet, gathering the remains of their pride, Hope, Cid and the elves, jumped into the abyss, while half of the emissaries and all the volunteers began to flee.

The wolf’s mouth opened wide around Eryl, but a puppet materialized in front of the servant who immediately jumped on it and avoided a destructive bite.

Liliana was on the left, drawing her sword and Marie on the right, a large knight in armor materialized with a cannon for hands.

"Moon-"

"Destroy-"

A flash of light passed next to the girls, followed by an explosion behind them.

"What...?!"

"Uh?"

Eryl landed on the wolf’s neck, her mouth was full of voracity bombs but she noticed a formation to her left in time.

"Urghff....Shit..."

A beam shot toward her, missing her just in time, but the wolf immediately turned around, its fangs closing on the maid.

"Stop being a dead weight!"

A large black shadow hit Eryl and pulled her away from another killing blow, the maid realized the origin was Nefertari.

"...What was that? She can... No, most important..."

Hope, Cid and the others landed on the ground and rushed towards the Black Knights, charging attacks of all kinds, but then, a new wave of beams came crashing down on them.

"Urgh?!"

Dozens, thirty, a rain of light beams fell on them and transformed the battlefield into a field of execution for less than five seconds.

Hope fell to the ground, dust rose. He glanced around a few times, feeling a little dizzy.

"What was that... Cid? Cid! Where are..."

He turned to the left and a purple blade fell on him.

"Watch out!!!"

A man among the emissaries emerged and faced the black knight’s sword.

Both stood sword to sword, and as the smoke from the cloud darkened, Hope realized his mistake. It was not a test, nor a duel, it was war.

He rose and struck the cloud and, like his predecessor, his sword met the blade of a black knight.

Meanwhile, Cid watched the battle taking place several meters under him. He glanced to the side and realized that he had been taken away by Eryl.

"...What are you doing?!"

"Sorry, but we’ll need some long range area damage here."

"Fuck, you say? Let me... Um?"

He noticed Nefertari, Mary and Liliana floating on Mary puppets around them, Eryl herself standing on a puppet, and in front of them, the giant wolf and someone sitting on its head.

"Wh-who is... this?"

The person on top of the Wolf’s head took off her military hat, revealing the face of a little girl with curly blond hair that did not fail to surprise everyone.

"Who? Is that a question to ask? Is it even necessary to speak?"

Her blue eyes were marked with a glowing purple aiming symbol.

"This is a battlefield, freak, and the only word I want to hear from you is a scream!"

A burst of energy erupted from his hands and took the ominous shape of a Gatling gun.

The wolf growled louder and the girl gave them a sick smile, Marie looked around them with a frown.

"Everyone..."

All around them, several Gatling guns materialized in the air, all aimed at them.

"...Creation Magic?" Eryl gasped.

The wolf showed its fangs, the emissaries clung to their weapons, the cannons lightened, then the fireworks began.

On the field, the battle between the team and the Black Knights seemed to end in a draw, Hope swung his swords but could only reach the knights’ blade.

A shadow appeared behind him, he quickly jumped and delivered a powerful aerial slash, sending a wave of aura onto the ground. He landed further away, but 4 knights emerged from the dust.

"Why...aren’t they...dying?!"

He unleashed a wave of his aura and rushed forward, then... the ground passed at high speed beneath him.

"Urgh!!"

He flew backwards and crashed onto the hard ice, clutching his stomach in pain. His comrades’ low moan of pain began to rise.

He looked at what had hit him and noticed a black knight with a long, glowing purple sword.

The knight took his momentum and rushed towards him at high speed, like a robot.

"H-Holy!!!"

The young man quickly got up, drawing his sword, then a violent shock sent him to the ground.

"....?"

Behind him stood the hammer of another black knight, larger than average.

He held the hammer on his shoulders, but behind him an emissary with knuckles, bleeding from the nose, jumped.

"Die, bastard!!!"

With rapid steps, as if running on water, the knight facing Hope passed by his comrade like a shadow and cut the emissary in two.

The upper body fell next to Hope, whose consciousness struggled to stay.

Around him, the situation was turning, the black knights were covered in a purple aura and sent the team to the ground, one by one, and above them, the situation was not better.

Marie summoned one giant knight to confront the wolf demon, with the others using the two titans as a platform to kill each other.

A row of machine guns appeared, firing at Cid and Marie, the energy bullet powerful enough for Pierce Marie’s puppet.

"Voracity"

Eryl fired a bomb at the weapon, causing them to disappear instantly, Liliana slashed at the wolf with little success, but during her attacks she moved closer to the young soldier.

"In your dreams, Iiiidiot!"

She created 3 rows of guns just above the wolf’s skin and unleashed a yellow rain that Liliana avoided by moving aside.

"Now, Cid!" Marie shouted.

"Yeah!"

Cid was covered in luminous balls of multiple colors, he pointed his hands towards the young girl while Marie covered Eryl and Liliana with a protective bubble.

"Take this!"

Several beams of light emerged from the orbs and struck the wolf, alongside the girl and the giant knight.

An explosion covered the place, sending a cloud wave to the ground and attracting everyone’s attention.

Cid stood triumphant, facing the cloud of smoke that had provoked his attack. With the wind blowing in his face, he looked invincible, the legend who brought down a beast of legend.

He gave the knights a contemptuous look and prepared another attack for the black knights.

"Now I want you all to stay in bed. Die!"

The gun touched his forehead, and the eyes of the girl who had emerged from the cloud glowed purple.

"Only... Your scream!"

The gun fired several bullets, wandering all around, and Cid fell to the ground.

"Hey...?"

But no pain could be felt, above him, Nefertari’s right foot finished deflecting the cannon of the gun.

"...You never learn, guys."
