Perfect Avatar-Chapter 320: The Twilight Of The World: The Last Door
Chapter 320: The Twilight Of The World: The Last Door
A mixture of black, and purple lightning formed on Dora’s hand, spreading around his armor.
It was a fleeting moment in time, where everything seemed frozen.
Everyone was immobile, everyone understood the meaning of his word, everyone knew what Zury was, and all knew what the armor represented.
Dora raised his head, in this moment frozen in time, he spoke.
"Run."
A glitch crossed the armor.
Like a single person, everyone felt the blood rushing to their head.
The legs left the ground, the shadows vanished.
All of them possessed phenomenal power, and all used them to their maximum to a single purpose: getting as far as possible, forever if they could.
It wasn’t a show of strength anymore, but a race, a race where some forgot that they could teleport.
All alone, Dora watched his right hand.
The glitches multiplied, fighting against the law, but with Zury’s attribute, the results were as Dora wished.
The moment Zury’s aura touched him, Dora understood something. The law used on him reversed the buff and healing he received, while increasing the effects of attacks, but there was one single exception.
A skill, a unique skill that, just because he didn’t possess it, hadn’t been added to the Law, and because of that, it became perfectly immune to it.
A single skill, or rather a blessing, with the terrible attribute to destroy the equilibrium of anything: Corruption.
The armor disintegrated, releasing progressively the hands, the back, the chest, the abdomen, the head and its sinister smile.
This world was in the night, the space was black and purple, with some pink and blue vault looking like nebula, but the very next second, the world became black and white.
The buildings blew up, the ground flew in the air.
Like a gigantic explosion, Dora’s pressure was released.
The Pseudo-avatars were already miles away, but all of them knew that it was pointless.
The light covered them.
A shockwave swiped the surface of the whole planet, from space, the side where Dora should be standing was shining.
The light was the size of a medium country, and its size keep increasing.
Soon, it looked like a volcanic eruption towering the planet, stretching on every side, covering the planet in a shiny blanket.
Dora’s body completely regenerated, his skin covered his flesh, his flesh covered his bones.
His smile enlightened his beautiful face, lighter than ever, and his eyes embraced the spectacle.
"Welcome to my world!"
His aura bursted, at this moment, everything, space include, fused with him and became one.
He said, and he didn’t exaggerated, he was the world, and he knew exactly what was in him.
"Found ya"
In a part of the planet, everyone was in a bubble generated by the Personas.
All of them surrounding the group used everything in their power to maintain a shield, it was the only thing they could do.
The light was too bright to open an eye, the shield was impregnated with Gluttony, but pressure still reached them.
They felt him, they were in his hand, they had become his toy.
Dora raised one hand, everyone could feel this single move.
His pressure had become an extension of his body, anything in his aura was literally him.
They could hear him, they could all feel his presence, no matter the distance.
"Look around you and tell me what you really see."
He clenched his fist, swinging his arm vertically.
The ground on his left exploded. A chain reaction began, the energy moved in a single blast, blowing everything on its path, spreading left, right, up, and down, over thousands of kilometers, again and again, until the blast, like a wave, reached the space and destroyed a nearby satellite.
The attack was visible from space and had blew 1/5 of the planet.
A violent wind cloud swept the surface of the planet, blowing over the shield.
They could feel it, they could feel the ridiculous damages one move had just done.
What could be done now?
The Personas focused only on their shield, no one tried to speak, there was no point anyway.
"Allow me to take back my property."
A flash crossed the world in a shockwave, from Dora’s location to the shield.
An impact hit the shield, and the formation lost in power instantly.
No one could see what was happening, but they could feel it, five of them were flying away, turning into light particles.
The Personas were destroyed.
".... Oh... This is bad..."
Dora’s pressure increased tenfold, with the death of each Personas, he recovered more power, and for the first time, he was finally at his maximum.
He looked at the palm of his hands, clenched his fists and watched the world.
"... I am too strong... I have the full control of my body... And now my mind is completely free."
He gazed to the shield, he was there, he was everywhere.
He could see the terrified faces of everyone, their distress, their despair.
"I’m a monster, aren’t I? But I’m also a loyal lover. I’ve changed my mind."
He joined two fingers together, the same way as Gloria used to do.
"I’ll just finish you here, so you’ll all reunite in my perfect world. You might hate it, but I don’t care. It’s only you and me, who’s gonna save you now?"
He pointed his fingers toward the horizon, everyone could hear him, they could feel what was coming, with the knowledge that they wouldn’t stop it.
It it wasn’t for the waves blowing there face, they would just drop on their knees.
"Welcome to my world."
The blast departed.
Crossing the world with a speed high enough to pass several countries by second, a blast visible from space headed for the Pseudo-avatars.
No hope, no though, no will, they held their breath, waiting for the fateful moment, and finally, the noise of doom roared in the horizon.
The world shone, the planet was illuminated like a star.
From space, the planet birthed a dome of light, gigantic, towering a giant ray of light.
It was the most silent explosion ever heard, and it was lasting forever.
The only relief at that moment, was the realization that they would suffer a painless death.
"Didn’t I ask you to stay alive, young lady?"
Solaria opened her eyes.
A veil covered her vision, orange of color, floating behind the wind of a dying attack.
She raised her head, and her heart stopped.
".... M...m..."
"How do you want to fight when you can’t even talk? It’s not that complicated, repeat after me."
She turned toward Solaria, gracing her with her smile.
"It’s mom."
