Primordial Chaos Dragon Tower: Harem System-Chapter 503: Giving Them Residence
"You are," Kent said, staring at the figure that appeared in the air with a calm expression. It's a man who, although he isn't that old, doesn't look young either.
His looks are twisted, befitting someone who isn't blessed with good looks. Hearing Kent's question, the figure chose to entertain him.
"Very well. Since you're the one who managed to make an entire organization that has existed for thousands of years go to such lengths and ask for my help, I don't mind telling you my name—and just how screwed you are."
The laughter coming from the man was twisted, revealing how incredibly evil he was.
The people who were still processing Kent's sudden appearance—and the fact that he had slaughtered nearly forty people in under a minute—felt their energy drain as they stood near Kent and the newcomer.
They began to back away, realizing that whatever was happening wasn't something they could afford to stay close to.
Kent held his gaze on the man, who seemed to have found a new prey to toy with. Kent asked for his name only so he wouldn't mind making his presence known once again to the people of Myrathis (Human Continent).
He was once a menace that went silent several years ago. Now, he is back to hunt Kent...
"I am—"
"You know what, I don't care who you are." Before the figure could mention his name, Kent cut him off, and a chilling cold filled the air.
The man clearly didn't like getting cut off mid-sentence. But Kent didn't really care.
"I have a list, and your ugly self isn't on it. So while I'd love to stay and admire that hideous face of yours, I don't have the time. freeweɓnovel.cѳm
So go back to the cave you crawled out of. You're scaring everyone just by looking at them." Kent waved his hand at the man and turned to face everyone.
The air grew colder as the words left his lips. The figure in the air was taken aback, but before he could respond, Kent began to speak again.
"There's a cowardly organization called the Hand that, for some reason, controls your kings and leaders.
They're in charge of everything, so while you may think you have kings and queens, it's actually this twisted organization running your affairs.
Normally, I wouldn't care. But they came after me, and now the people I've interacted with from ever since I arrived in this kingdom.
That cannot be forgiven.
So while they try to cover their tracks by branding bodies with a claw, revealing just how pathetic they truly are, I will expose them. And that begins with what will happen from today onwards.
I'm telling you this now so you won't be surprised if your king, queen, or even your entire royal family were to die overnight. And don't worry—you'll know I did it.
Because while I may be just one person, I've got more spine than that cowardly organization. I will kill every last one affiliated with them, so while I can say you all are safe, I cannot promise that.
So be ready to die if you have something to do with the Hand and their pathetic self. Spread the word."
Kent turned back to the man, whose face had twisted into an expression of sheer fury.
"They even hired an ugly bastard to come after me, thinking he has what it takes to kill me. How pathetic," Kent chuckled, feeling his surroundings get sealed by an invisible force.
The ugly-looking man wouldn't let him slip off, no matter what. So he started sealing Kent's surroundings.
"I would love to wipe that ugliness off your face, but I don't have time for you now. Maybe use this chance to find a beauty product and fix that disaster. I mean, don't you ever look at yourself in the mirror?
I am pretty sure you scared your mom to death right after giving birth to you..." Kent chuckled
"Until then, keep scaring people with your smile." Kent gave him the middle finger before vanishing into the tower.
A mere sealing spell from a Level 7 Core Formation expert wouldn't be able to hold him. He had even canceled an attack from a Spirit Lord—what chance did a Core Formation expert have?
However, while Kent was running his mouth, he knew the ugly-looking man was someone who could threaten him.
He sensed his aura and understood that while the other Core Formation experts he had fought were strong, this one was different.
This one gave off a dangerous feeling that made him remember what Vexthra had said: there were indeed powerful beings hidden in this world.
Not that he was afraid, but like he said, the man wasn't on his list—because he had checked and double-checked to make sure the Hunter wasn't included.
The Hand had unleashed a group of killers known as the Shadows on Kent by ordering them to kill everyone connected to him.
In this case, the only people they could think of were those who worked for the Alderford Merchant Family.
Since Kent had taken their daughter—and even her mother—as his women, they assumed he would be hurt, or at least his wives would be, if they found out everyone connected to them had been killed.
Unfortunately for them, two things went wrong.
The first issue was that the Shadows disobeyed their orders and branded their kills with their own symbol—a claw mark instead of the true brand, which is the hand.
They called themselves the Clawed Shadows.
This gave Kent the chance to look down on the Hand. In contrast, while his words were just words, their impact on the organization was utterly disgraceful.
It translated that they came after him but didn't have the balls to show they were the ones. That was like a bad rap in the underworld.
The second issue, however, was Kent's unexpected intervention. Only 16 out of the 136 people who once worked for the Alderford Merchant Family were killed.
Though that was a heavy loss, it could've been much worse. As far as he was concerned, Kent couldn't have predicted the attack—no one knew of his involvement with the Alderfords.
The only ones who did were from the Ashlands, and they had all died when the Dark Devil Church visited them—the same night the Hand visited the Alderfords.
So this can only mean, while he wasn't that known by many, the hand is quite aware of him and all those they can kill to make him tick.
But regardless of what had happened, Kent managed to save the remaining 120. Now, lost in thought and standing silently, the 120 he rescued found themselves inside an ample, unfamiliar space in the Tower City.
"Where are we?" one person asked, recognizing the person beside her. After all, they had once worked for the same family.
"I'm as lost as you are, Theo. I was in the middle of buying a skill book when I was teleported here," a lady replied, holding the skill book in her hand.
"Hope you didn't pay for that skill book yet," someone else chimed in with a smile, clearly recognizing her.
"But of course. Too bad Old Jace is such a good guy," the lady shook her head. "But seriously, where are we?" she asked again, looking around at the stunning city surrounding them.
"I don't know, but I think whoever pulled us here might've just saved my life," another man joined the conversation, making everyone turn toward him.
"What happened to you, Steve?" Theo asked, staring at the bleeding man. Steve had cuts on his left arm, chest, and leg.
"I was about to be executed when I was suddenly pulled here. And I think all of us would've been—if we weren't teleported into this world."
"What?!" everyone exclaimed after hearing what he just said.
"He's right. You all were at death's door, had it not been for me," Kent suddenly appeared in the air, drawing everyone's attention.
