Reborn As Noble-Chapter 502: Pursuit of the Celestial ( )
Chapter 502: Pursuit of the Celestial ( 502 )
Without wasting a moment.
Javier reached into his magic storage, pulling out a chunk of white ore, the rare material Armand craftsmen used for top-tier weapon enchantments.
He dropped to one knee by the riverbank, laying out his tools carefully.
Activating his magic crafting skill, his hands moved with incredible speed, his mind racing through calculations.
“Alright!! If I adjust the flow here, stabilize the output there. Oh, right, the feedback loop!”
he muttered excitedly to himself.
His fingers danced across the ore like a master artisan.
Energy symbols flared briefly across the stone as he carved with delicate precision.
Not just carving.
infusing.
Reconstructing.
Evolving.
Then..
He pulled out an empty rune tablet from his magic storage.
Typically used to create custom spell runes.
With steady hands, Javier carved the knowledge symbols he had just received, not simply copying, but converting.
He tweaked them.
Optimized them.
Until a brand-new, brilliant rune pulsed softly in his hand.
He smirked.
“Good.”
Without hesitation.
He turned to his unfinished weapon prototype. A compact magic gun designed to fire mana blasts endlessly, without any physical bullets.
A weapon far beyond the current technology of this world.
Javier grinned wider.
He installed the new rune into the weapon’s core.
Mana surged through the gun instantly.
No longer relying on bullets.
Only pure mana channeling would keep it firing nonstop, as long as the user had stamina.
“Alright!! This is done!!”
he declared proudly, holding the weapon up to catch the sunlight.
The sleek, silvery weapon gleamed ominously.
“Why bother sealing”
“when I can just kill them.Ekekekeke.”
Buddy, splashing in the river, paused and slowly tilted his head at Javier.
There he goes again.
“Alright!! Second weapon!!”
Javier said excitedly to himself, his grin growing wider.
Still riding on the wave of inspiration, he pulled out another chunk of white ore from his magic storage.
The stone gleamed under the sunlight, pure and flawless.
Without pausing, he took out another empty rune tablet, setting it carefully beside the ore.
He reached deeper into his storage and pulled out a white crystal, pulsing gently with raw, compressed mana.
Javier’s eyes gleamed.
“Let’s add this… and this… and oh, this one here too!”
His hands moved fast, expertly synchronizing the crystal’s core with the rune pattern.
He adjusted the flow carefully.
Stabilizing the balance between pure mana release and physical form reinforcement.
“Alright, alright… this is…hmmm…”
He paused, tapping his chin thoughtfully.
Looking at the ore piece again, he shifted the carving slightly.
“Maybe the design should be more compact here… allow easier mana venting… and this slope to increase firing speed…”
He murmured, half to himself, half out of habit.
His fingers moved again. The white ore slowly took the shape of a sleek weapon core .
The white crystal floated gently above the ore, tethered by thin lines of mana connecting to the rune tablet.
Everything coming together perfectly.
His sly grin returned.
“Alright!!”
Javier declared proudly, his eyes shining like a kid showing off a brand-new toy.
He stepped back from his crafting spot, standing tall near the riverbank.
With a smooth spin, he drew both of his new white guns, one in each hand.
He struck a pose, Legs spread confidently, both arms stretched forward, pointing the glowing weapons ahead.
The polished white surface of the guns reflected the sunlight.
“I will… BANG BANG the enemy!!”
Javier grinned, making fake shooting sounds without actually firing.
He channeled his mana into the guns.
And immediately, both weapons glowed with a pure, blinding light.
The runes he had carved responded perfectly, pulling the mana smoothly without any recoil or delay.
A soft hum filled the air.
Javier’s grin widened even more.
“Perfect.”
The combination of mana channel, pure light emission, and endless firing potential was something that didn’t exist in this world.
At least, not until now.
He felt it.
If he pulled the trigger now.
Even the toughest dark monsters would be erased before they could even touch him.
“Alright, enough showing off.” freewёbn૦νeɭ.com
Javier muttered to himself, chuckling.
He spun the two glowing guns casually and smoothly stored them back inside his magic storage.
With the weapons secured, he glanced up at the sky.
The sun had climbed higher.
Time was moving fast.
“Buddy!!”
Javier called out loudly.
His loyal Pekko, still happily splashing in the river, lifted his head instantly.
“Cuquawked?”
Buddy replied, his head tilting.
“Let’s go.”
“Cuquawked!!”
Buddy flapped his wings excitedly and walked out of the water.
And then shook his entire body violently.
Water sprayed everywhere.
Javier barely dodged the first wave, but the second caught him full on the chest.
“Eww!! Buddy!!”
Buddy squawked innocently, his feathers now fluffy and dry, looking very proud of himself.
Javier wiped his face , sighing heavily.
Buddy just bobbed his head up and down, clearly pretending to be innocent.
Javier wiped the last bit of water off his face with a deep sigh.
Then he climbed back onto Buddy’s saddle with a smooth motion, settling in easily.
He patted Buddy’s thick, sturdy neck firmly.
“Good boy.”
Buddy squawked proudly, flapping his wings once in excitement.
Javier then pulled out a small folded map from inside his belt pouch.
The one that had come together with the secret letter from his father.
He unfolded it carefully.
A hand-drawn but detailed map showing key paths, terrain marks, and secret passes between the Beastkin Kingdom and the Dwarven Kingdom.
He traced his finger over the lines briefly.
He folded the map back neatly and tucked it into his jacket.
His hand tightened on Buddy’s reins.
“Alright, Buddy!!”
“Full speed ahead!! Border between Dwarven and Beastkin!!”
“Cuquawked!!”
Buddy responded instantly, slamming his feet into the dirt and dashing forward at full speed.
The wind roared past them.
The trees blurred into green walls.
Buddy thundered across the dirt road, his powerful legs kicking up clouds of dust as he dashed at full speed.
The wind roared past Javier’s ears.
But inside his mind.
He was calm.
Focused.
Finish this mission fast.
No unnecessary detours.
No unnecessary risks.
The choice that Father gave him.
Whether to kill or capture.
It would all depend on the situation.
If sealing the celestial and capturing Gumarak was possible, he would do it.
If not…
He would kill without hesitation.
Because hesitation on the battlefield only brought death.
Every breath he took was steady.
Every thought sharpened like a blade.
He wasn’t just a noble’s son anymore.
Out here.
He was a hunter.
A soldier.
A reaper.
The mission came first.
And Javier would do whatever it took to complete it.
