As the snow continued to grace the day, guests in luxury cars cruised up the blacktop driveway of the Mayfair manor. These guests came dressed as if they were about to end a high-end fashion show, dripping in expensive jewels and showing off expensive furs. From politicians and billionaires to royalty that had been invited old man Lee, the impressive guest list stunned. Many of those who were in attendance were mostly from the founding families.

There were quite a huge number of them despite the fact that notifications for the wedding came at such short notice.

She was not the bride, and yet, from the moment she had walked into the venue, hundreds of eyes tracked Phoebe's movements while a chorus of murmurs trailed her. All those eyes focused on her stomach which she could not hide anymore as the news of her pregnancy was public.

People that had seen her in the last month, weeks or days were befuddled by the sudden increment in her stomach. Arrow was one of those people, not that he commented, but others did.

Cookie Miller was heard whispering, "Does she have a pillow in there?"

Angelina Cook was overheard saying, "Is it a coincidence that her pregnancy was leaked just after David was conformed to be the incoming president of the Saxon group."

Katherine Saxon had said to Uzziah Saxon, "Maybe it's not David's. If it is, why was she hiding it? You saw her at breakfast; she was not pregnant."

There was so much speculation and David encouraged Phoebe to ignore it.

"I am not bothered." Phoebe told him, "I am not surprised that they are talking but I am surprised that none of the blogs had anything horrible to say about me this time." She claimed his arm, her grip firm as if daring the onlookers to try and dare tear them apart.

A smile formed on David's lips; he pulled her closer to him. "You are a mother to a Saxon now; they would not dare face my wrath or that of my grandfather. Besides, your father may not have told you, but Mayfair corporation pulled advertisement deals from all news outlets that said anything negative about you during the Moria scandal." He spoke casually, helping her settle in a chair.

"He did what? What if they turn on the corporation? One bad article can damage a business for years even after it is proven to be false." Her eyes clouded with unease.

David scoffed. "Your father is a scary man when he needs to be, he may seem easy going, but he acts on his threats." He spoke, shifting his eyes to Edward Mayfair who stood next to his wife, welcoming the incoming guests.

Following his gaze, warmth clogged her heart when she saw how happy and proud her father was. "He would do anything for me." She breathed the words against his ear.

"So would I." David winked right before planting a small kiss on her lips.

Phoebe slapped David's arm lightly and complained. "No kisses at the wedding David, we have already overshadowed Shanna's big day with the news of your presidency and my pregnancy. If we are seen looking more romantic and intimate than the bride and groom, Shanna will not forgive me."

Collin, and his groomsmen walked into the venue and the whispering went down. Less than twenty seconds later, a piano ensemble accompanied by a harpist started to play a melody to welcome the bride and everyone stood up.

Shanna, in her beautiful flowing silk dress, with a big grin on her face and small round belly which screamed her pregnancy walked in on the arm of her father.

"Three, two, one." Phoebe whispered.

The guests started to whisper and speculate. While her stomach was not as big as Phoebe's, it was obvious she was with child too. Nevertheless, the ceremony continued.

As the handfasting was commencing in the background, the invited paparazzi who were always hungry for a scandal focused their lenses on Phoebe and David instead of the bride and groom, securing shots that would dominate tomorrow's headlines.

Every time Phoebe rubbed her stomach, they went crazy. When David touched it, they took so many pictures, almost running out of film.

After the sacred binding ceremony that took place under the perfect floral arch the guests with champagne flutes in their hands meandered around the glowing, simple but perfectly decorated indoor garden talking about the pregnant Phoebe and Shanna. It was raining babies in the Mayfair household.

Jennie ducked her friends that wanted to gossip about Phoebe and quickly found David for she could not believe her eyes. In the shortest time he had managed to do what Anna Lee found challenging.

He had replaced everything that she had destroyed that afternoon. The ice sculpture, chocolate and champagne fountains, glass chairs and all the decorations. He had taken it a step further because even the flower bouquets on the tables had diamonds inside. He had included suspended flowers that floated mid-air with gold strings dangling down. He had replaced the wedding cake with an exact one that had been ruined.

A photo booth with pictures of the bride and groom from the day they met to this day lined the backdrop. It had not been part of the original arrangement as well.

Collin and Shanna loved it, and David had given the credit to their mothers.

"How did you pull this off?" Jennie asked, her darting eyes grew moist.

David shrugged, a smile forming on seeing that Jennie was pleased. "I pulled a lot of strings with Arrow Castille; I owe him a lot of favors that he will collect over a period of one hundred years." He sighed lightly and then added. "We both know that we won't live that long so..." He shrugged. "I could not fix everything, like the personalized porcelain vases and cutlery and....."

Flicking her fingers dismissively, Jennie rubbed a tear before it left her eye. "Do not be silly, you out did yourself fixing my mess. I am so proud of you and really grateful." She patted his back and turned to leave, then she paused and spun around. "And David, I am glad that you are Star's father." She smiled before walking away with a full heart.

Phoebe was not so far away, she was sited at a table with Arrow who was happily deciphering the conversation between Jennie and David by reading their lips.

"Holy cow! You can really see that far and read their lips. That is amazing but you should not be so proud. My raven Yin has the same ability only better because he can see through walls fifty feet away. It is interesting that you both have red eyes, huh!" Phoebe took a sip on her juice, feigning innocence but her tone was pure mischief.

His gasp almost sent his liquor down the wrong pipe, compelling him to let out a soft cough. "Phoebe Mayfair did you just compare me to a bird?" His question curled into the air warm with laughter.
