Aquarina quickly started picking up the corpses left behind from all the lobsters they hunted, her Storage Ring was already at its limits though, unlike Sylphy's Glutton, who seemed endless, her Ring could only hold so much at the end. However, like she fused her daggers with her Abyssal Embodiment, she began to do the same with her Storage Ring.

If Abyssal Embodiment allowed her to combine magical weapons and enhance, modify them, or unleash even more of their power, but corrupted through its abyssal energies, then the same could apply to magical accessories.

"Let's see… Maybe this is how dad was able to create a huge Shadow Storage?" freewebnoveℓ.com

Aquarina's Father, Shade, had amazing abilities and control over the power of shadows and darkness like nobody else, a master of Abyssal Embodiment too, his Shadow itself was a gigantic Storage where he kept his Spirits, Items, Food, and could even trap inside hostages.

According to what she had learned, these abilities were all designed for the Darkage Tribe of Humans to be more effective assassins within the shadows. It is said that Gods created Darkage as vigilantes and guardians, who would keep towns or noble and royal families protected from threats within the shadows.

Of course, that's more mythology than anything, and not even Aquarina is quite sure what's real and what not at the end.

Nonetheless, this power was real, and she began to experiment with it as she set up a huge bonfire and started unpacking her stuff to start cooking again.

"Let's see… {Abyssal Embodiment: Magic Accessory Assimilation}!"

She simply made up a "Spell" using her Abyssal Embodiment Skill as the base, as she infused her shadows and abyssal energies into the ring as she would do with her daggers, trying to modify it.

FLUOSH!

Suddenly, she felt something within the Ring beginning to open up and absorb the darkness, rapidly becoming hollower and also larger…

"This must be the Internal Space!"

The Storage Rings had large Space-Attribute Spirit Crystals that had been refined and covered with special Runes through Alchemy to function properly.

Each of these Space Attribute Spirit Crystals had the potential to create tiny pocket spaces within them, which through alchemy, could be "awakened" within these stones.

The larger the crystal the more pocket space they had inside, but despite that, rings had small crystals because they were actually the fusion and compression of dozens of these through alchemy and synthesis, until they were compressed to a small, and very light weighted appearance.

She expanded her Abyssal Energy into the Storage Ring's internal space, digging deeper into it and then applying her Shamanistic Alchemy, creating a circle out of pure Abyssal Energy inside the ring.

The Ring's Space suddenly began to slowly "melt" into her Abyssal Energy, as her Shadows rapidly inflated the internal space like a balloon.

Of course, this cost a lot of Mana to even accomplish, so Aquarina was eating a bunch of Mana Fruits Sylphy had gifted her, which were like, over a hundred.

"A-Almost… there!"

FLUOOOSH!

She kept pushing, until eventually, her Storage Ring turned completely black, the blue jewel turned dark red, resembling an eye, Aquarina gasped, as she used Synthesis.

"{Abyssal Synthesis}!"

FLASH!

And then…

"Oooh? It worked? Kinda!"

She had used her powers to modify the ring the same way she does with her dagger, but this time, to modify the ring permanently, merging it with her own shadows.

And the results were… better than she imagined!

Ding!

[You have successfully Synthetized the [Dark Shadow Ring of Abyssal Storage (SSS+ Grade)] x1!]

[You have gained +100.000 Alchemy EXP.]

[Your [Shamanic Alchemy Arts: Lv4] Skill has Leveled Up!]

"It worked, right?"

Aquarina quickly checked the new Ring's Description. Because it wasn't "System Made" by Sylphy, it didn't have a long status with numbers and abilities, but it did go into detail about what it was and what changes it underwent.

[Dark Shadow Ring of Abyssal Storage (SSS+ Grade)]

Formerly a [Magic Ring of Storage (SS)] made using a large concentration and compression of several Space Attribute Spirit Stone Crystals, containing within its crystal a large storage area to store items, but that was still rather limited.

Now, after undergoing Abyssal Synthesis, it has merged with your own Shadows and Abyssal Energies, becoming one with your Abyssal Embodiment permanently. The ring now cannot be used by anybody else than you, and it is Soul-Bound.

Its internal Space has been expanded through fusing with your Abyssal Embodiment's Shadows, becoming as large as you desire it to me through the usage of Mana and Abyssal Energies. However, the larger the internal space becomes, the more Mana it costs to open a portal towards its interior. The Internal Space can also be accessed through your own Shadows, no longer limited to tapping the Ring at all, and its powers can be activated by a mere mental command too.

Aside from that, its former limitations, such as being unable to store living beings has been revoked, although those trapped inside might be able to break out of the Abyssal Storage if they're strong enough, so it is recommended to only place those that are unconscious.

The Ring has become somewhat "alive", and it craves delicious materials and food which it might occasionally nibble at if it feels hungry.

"Huh, so it worked nicely but… What the hell with this being alive thing?" Aquarina raised an eyebrow, feeling a bit weirded out.

It seemed that her powers were quite interesting and unique, and she could permanently "twist" an item and transform it into a dark or abyssal piece of equipment that becomes Soul-Bound to her, and that nobody else can use effectively except her, or perhaps her dad too.

"Is this why it has an eye now, is it watching me?" Aquarina wondered, glaring at the ring and tapping into its crystal, but there was no response, this thing looked as inert as a rock. "Hmmm, well, whatever. I guess as long as it doesn't eat the important things, I'm fine with that."

Feeling satisfied, Aquarina finally started cooking as Pyuku, Agua, and Silvia joined her.
