Within the chasm's ominous depths, the Elite Team of the Gifted Alliance navigated the eerie, subterranean world that awaited them.

The oppressive darkness clung to every surface, as if the shadows themselves conspired to hide the secrets buried within. A palpable tension weighed on each member of the team as they ventured further into the abyss.

Nye, the leader of Alpha Team, took the lead, his eyes glowing with an inner light. With a simple gesture, he summoned his powerful light-based Skill, and a radiant sphere of illumination sprang to life.

The chamber around them was suddenly bathed in a brilliant, golden glow, revealing the jagged, rocky walls of the chasm. Shadows fled from Nye's powerful light, unable to withstand its radiance.

Lisa, leader of Beta Team, raised her hand, and shimmering energy constructs manifested around the team.

Layers of translucent barriers formed a protective cocoon, surrounding them. Her Energy Construct Gift offered both defense and an assurance that they wouldn't be taken by surprise.

Lilith was at the forefront. Her keen senses, honed through countless battles, and reinforced by her Gift, were their first line of defense against any lurking threats.

Her red eyes darted and scanned the dark corners, ever watchful for any signs of danger. Lilith's presence, an embodiment of controlled power, was a reassuring beacon of vigilance for everyone present.

After all, she was the one closest in strength to their dear Guildmaster.

At the rear of the group, Tia, leader of Gamma Team, moved with the fluid grace of a shadow. Her mastery of stealth and assassination was their last line of defense against surprise attacks.

Her eyes darted back and forth, and her senses remained alert, ready to spring into action at a moment's notice.

Pariah, the Guildmaster and the pillar of the Gifted Alliance, stood right behind Lilith. His determination was palpable, his resolve unshakable.

The team leaders followed closely, their expressions reflecting their unwavering loyalty and their readiness to confront whatever lay ahead.

The tension in the air was undeniable as they ventured deeper into the chasm, their steps echoing through the rocky chamber.

The glow of Nye's light danced across the walls, revealing strange carvings and ancient, hieroglyphic markings etched into the stone.

This felt like a different realm entirely… as if something else had intruded the sanctity of Earth. The presence of an unimaginable power seemed to resonate within the very walls of the chasm, and it made them all on edge.

Pariah's voice broke the silence, his words carrying weight and purpose.

"Stay vigilant, everyone. We must move swiftly and put an end to this scenario as soon as possible. The General Team is counting on us to secure the depths of the chasm." 𝐛𝐞𝐝𝐧𝗼𝘃𝐞𝐥.𝗰𝐨𝗺

The team nodded in understanding, their resolve deepening.

They moved forward as one, navigating the darkness and the unknown with a determination that would see them through any challenge that the abyss had to offer.

The Elite Team was unwavering in their quest to bring an end to the malevolent scenario and reclaim the surface world for humanity.

… Unaware of what was happening on the surface, and whatever awaited them beyond.

The General Team of the Gifted Alliance, stationed at the entrance of the chasm, continued their diligent efforts to secure the area and search for valuable resources amidst the remains of fallen demons.

They worked systematically, each member well-practiced in the task at hand.

The air was thick with the scent of ash and sulfur, and the ground beneath their feet was littered with the gruesome remnants of the demonic horde.

But in the blink of an eye, the tranquility shattered.

"ROOOOOOOAAAAAAAAAAAAARRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!"

The air vibrated as everyone shivered in response to the horrific screeches that filled the expanse around and beyond them.

And then…

~RUMBLE!~

~RUMBLE!~

~RUMBLE!~

… It happened!

A horde of Grade 3 Demons, formidable and numerous, surged forward, their grotesque forms descending upon the General Team like a relentless tide.

"G-Grade 3?!"

"S-so many…?!"

"S-stand your ground!"

"R-run!"

"Arrghhhhhh!!!"

The Gifteds at the entrance found themselves caught off guard, their surprise mirrored in their widened eyes and frantic movements.

Panic washed over the General Team as the formidable demons attacked with unmatched ferocity.

The Demons, their skin a sickly shade of gray and their features twisted into horrifying visages, were relentless in their assault. Their speed and power far exceeded any previous adversaries the Gifted Alliance had faced.

Screams and shouts filled the air as the General Team fought back.

Their skills and items, honed through countless battles, were formidable, but the sheer numbers and strength of the Grade 3 Demons overwhelmed them.

They were both outnumbered… and outmatched!

The once-ordered battle formation disintegrated into chaos as the Gifteds fought to hold their ground.

Despite their valiant efforts, it quickly became evident that the General Team was at a significant disadvantage.

The Grade 3 Demons clawed through the barriers with ease, their jagged teeth sinking into flesh and armor. Gifteds were thrown aside with brutal force, and the chamber resounded with the guttural roars of the demons.

"Uarrghhhhh!!"

"N-no… please no…"

"S-save me! S-SAVE M—!"

"Guarrgghhh!"

"U-uuu…"

Team Leader Luke, who had volunteered to remain on the surface to safeguard their retreat, was nowhere to be found. His absence added to the growing desperation of the situation, and the Gifteds felt the weight of their leader's absence keenly.

The fight was one-sided, a massacre of epic proportions.

The General Team, now struggling to stay alive, fought with every ounce of strength they could muster. But their efforts seemed futile as the Grade 3 Demons closed in, their overwhelming presence bearing down on the Gifted Alliance.

A scene of mangled corpses, a sea of blood, and scampering remnants of those who would soon be devoured painted the entrance of the Chasm.

All occurring within the span of a few minutes…

… The General Team was wiped out.
