Single Wish: Rise Of The Omniscient Paragon-Chapter 673 - 672: Immortal
"The day you entered the Underworld was when my brother was meant to appear the Underworld, but till now, he has not even appeared in the Underworld."
When Corey heard these words from Divine, he could not help but raise his brows with a baffled expression.
"You said it yourself that your actions have definitely changed the future. So what if you coming to the Underworld changed the fact that your brother was meant to come to the Underworld?"
"I don't think I have anything to do with your brother not coming to the Underworld."
Divine sighed and scratched the back of his head with a frustrated expression.

"I know, and I'm not accusing you for my brother not coming to the Underworld. That would be senseless for me to do."
Divine paused and sighed once again, and Corey tilted his head and stared at him with slightly furrowed brows.
"If you're not accusing me of your brother not coming to the Underworld, then why did it sound like you were suspicious of me?"
Divine shook his head, "Because I was."
Corey raised his brows.
"When you appeared in the Underworld, I was expecting my brother but you appeared instead. I didn't think too much of it, but when I tried to check your status window out of curiosity, I saw nothing."
"I was extremely surprised because you were a freaking Tier 0, and it should be completely impossible for me not to see the stats of a Tier 0."
"I found it strange. A strange Tier 0 whose stats I could not see appeared on the day and hour my brother was meant to appear?"
"It was very strange, and because of that, I decided to approach you."
"Fatty Black Bonez, Rosa, Dave, and the rest thought I was insane for approaching you because you were just a Tier 0, and they could not be blamed."
"Who in the Underworld would choose to look at the stats of a newcomer Tier 0 with a weak aura?"
"But out of pure luck, I did and I eventually realized what a talent you were."
Corey furrowed his brows when he heard Divine mention the word 'Luck'.
'Luck huh?'
'Could it be the heavens that directed him to try and look at my status screen? His status as a Child of Heaven?'
Numerous thoughts went through Corey's mind as he pondered on every single information and thing Divine had told him ever since he came to his room.
"Aside from the fact that I couldn't see your stats, the more I interacted with you, the more abilities you showed, the more absurdity you showcased, also made me suspicious, curious, and baffled about you."
"Why?" Corey raised his brows with a confused expression.
"Because I never heard or saw an individual like you in my past life."
Divine stopped talking and the atmosphere in the room became eerily silent for some seconds.
"I don't know if you understand what I'm trying to say, but your presence has been extremely baffling to me."
"In my past life, there was no word or rumour about somebody like you."
"An extremely talented man who could kill Tier 5s as a Tier 3."
"A man who obtained a branch of the Warlock Class, an extremely rare and powerful class."
"A man whose able to teleport and manipulate space to an extremely high degree."
"A man who possesses more skills than a Mystic Being as a Tier 2."
"A man whose combat abilities are truly astounding and terrifying."
"And a man whose depths I cannot fathom despite my talents."
Divine paused, and Corey remained silent as he stared at Divine dead in the eye without saying a single word.
"There was nobody like you in my past life, and if there was, then it's either you died before the Progenitor War began on our world or you were not this talented in my past life."
"Because I truly believe that New Earth would have had a better chance of survival if you were also part of the Progenitor War."
Corey frowned deeply, "What do you mean?"
Divine smiled wryly, "I've told you about the battle for the core of New Earth that would occur in the future, but what I didn't tell you is what this battle or should I say, what this war is going to be called."
"It's going to be called a Progenitor War, and the person that obtains the core of the world is going to be called a Progenitor."
Divine paused for a few seconds, and then he continued.
"In my past life, there were a lot of talented New Earthlings that battled not only for the World's Core but for the safety of their world."
"Some of them were the spearheads and leaders that fought against the Outsiders, and these people were extremely talented people."
"Pamela was one of them and she was one of the biggest threats, if not the biggest threat to the Outsiders. Unfortunately, she was killed in the war."
"My brother was also part of the war, but when the New Earthlings were losing, he withdrew so that the House of Divine would not perish alongside New Earth."
"There were six leaders of New Earth in the Progenitor War, and each of them had extremely powerful talents."
"Apart from Pamela who had a seemingly infinite amount of energy."
"One had absurd talents in healing, another could control every single element."
"Another had absurd talent in controlling space and time. He was like an assassin."
"Another had the most powerful physique on New Earth."
"Another had the talent to become stronger with every battle."
"And the last was regarded as the Hero of New Earth. The world favoured him, everything favoured him, and although he had no absurd talent like the rest. He was more like the protagonist of the world, and he was by far the most difficult person to kill on New Earth."
"The Hero gave the Outsiders a lot of headache because of how he usually escaped death no matter what they did, but at the end of the day, he died."
Divine paused, and then he scoffed and looked at Corey.
"Can you guess how the Hero of New Earth died?"
"How did he die?" Corey asked.
"The Clown betrayed him and killed him."
Corey's brows rose in surprise because he never expected to hear of the Clown.
"The Clown betrayed New Earth in my past life, and he was the person that also killed my elder brother and destroyed my family... He's the person that also killed me."
Corey said nothing but stared at Divine who had his fists clenched tightly.
"To be honest, the Clown is the most dangerous human... No, he cannot be regarded as a human anymore. He's the most dangerous being in the world because of his talent."
Corey raised his brows with a curious expression, "And what's his talent?"
"The Clown is Immortal and he cannot die no matter what you do to him."
