Meng Meng happily took them and sweetly said to Chen Lang, “Thank you, brother.”
Chen Lang patted Meng Meng’s head, “You’re so good.” Though he tried to act like an adult, he was still a teenager at heart, which was quite amusing to watch.
Cheng Yang also came over to tease Meng Meng, “Call me ‘uncle’, uncle has some candy for you.”

In the evening, they stopped by a riverbank. Since many rivers had dried up before, finding one with water was a good opportunity for them to bathe, and with the cooler temperature, soaking in a comfortable bath was something most of them had been looking forward to for months.

Gu Pan pulled out a rabbit from ‘Space’ and mentioned that Lu Ruisheng had caught it while gathering firewood.
