Super Template System In Marvel and Beyond-Chapter 224: Raid V
Chapter 224 - Raid V
"Black Moon Guild, huh? That sounds good... Powerful enough to instill fear in our enemies," Lauel said, half-covering his face, his chuunibyou tendencies acting up once again.
Dave rolled his eyes but smirked. "Yeah, yeah. Just don't get too dramatic on the battlefield."
Grid chuckled. "No promises."
With the guild now officially established, the real challenge awaited—the war against the golems.
"Anyway, let's go. We've already wasted enough time," Dave said, and they nodded in agreement.
Dave then called Diana and Boa, who were in Reidan City. They also had mass teleportation scrolls prepared in advance on his orders. Trish and Emma had them as well. He had invited all of them into his guild when he was forming it.
However, due to an oversight on Tzedkah's side, he had reached the guild member limit and had accidentally left out three members from Tzedkah Guild while making the guild. It wasn't intentional—just a result of reaching the member limit.
As Dave and the others prepared to move, he quickly sent a message to those he couldn't invite. "We'll expand the guild soon. Stay ready."
With everyone gathered, Euphemia activated Mass Teleportation, and in an instant, they vanished from Winston, reappearing in the war-torn battlefield of the Eternal Kingdom.
The sight before them was pure chaos. Golems rampaged through the land, crushing everything in their path. The sky was filled with dust and magic explosions as players and NPC soldiers fought desperately to hold the line.
Dave cracked his knuckles, his eyes gleaming with excitement. "Time to rack up some contribution points."
Grid smirked, gripping his sword tightly. "Let's see who ends up leading this guild."
Lauel chuckled, still convinced of his plan. 'Let the battle begin.'
As Dave gripped Phantom Fang, a subtle, eerie mist emanated from the blade, making it seem almost alive. Meanwhile, Grid hoisted Failure, his massive greatsword that radiated raw destructive power.
The battlefield roared with chaos as the massive golems continued their relentless march.
"Alright, let's see who racks up the most kills," Grid smirked, his grip tightening.
Dave merely chuckled, his eyes scanning the battlefield for the biggest prey.
Euphemia and the others took their positions, ready to support the two powerhouses in their competition.
And with that—the slaughter began.
Dave and Grid dashed forward at the same time.
"ready"
"Set."
"Go!"
Grid unleashed Ideal Dagger attached skill freely move, slashing through golems with brutal precision. His Shark-like Greatsword, Failure, carved massive arcs through the battlefield, his attacks backed by sheer overwhelming force.
Dave, on the other hand, moved like a phantom, his Phantom Fang cutting through enemies in fluid, deadly motions. Then, he activated Madra Pahntomstep, vanishing momentarily before reappearing right in the heart of the enemy ranks.
With a flick of his wrist, he unleashed 100,000 Army Massacre Sword—a devastating move that tore through the soul dolls and old golems with unparalleled might. Each strike devoured his foes, the technique growing even stronger with every kill and then it struck the Ancient Weapon depleting its health by 80% in one go and then Dave seeing its still not dead used the 10,000 army piercing sword and killed the Ancient weapon, also knowing it will explode he moved to next target making it believe he just is targeting the others and not fleeing from the self destructing Ancient weapon.
The battlefield trembled under the power of explosion as it killed the other golems near it too.
The competition had begun, but to the watching players and NPCs, this wasn't just a fight.
It was a massacre.
On the high walls of the Eternal Kingdom, King Wiesbaden and the nobles stood in shock, watching the battle unfold below. Among them was Marquis Steim, who couldn't help but exclaim in disbelief.
"Who is that young man? He cut down so many golems with a single swing of his sword?"
The king's gaze flickered between two warriors—Grid and Dave. However, it was Dave who held most of his attention. By this point, he had killed twice as many golems as Grid, making Lauel break into a cold sweat.
'What was that sword skill? How can he have such a powerful ability?' Lauel muttered anxiously.
For the first time, he began to panic. But soon, a smirk formed on his lips as a realization struck him.
'Well... I suppose this works out too. I only want to be a kingmaker. Grid's items are still valuable, and they will attract strong players to our side. But now... no matter which of them wins, Grid's items will remain in our guild due to the contract Grid and Dave have signed.'
A wicked grin spread across Lauel's face.
"Hehehe... No matter who wins, I win."
Now, he just had to wait and see—which of these two monsters would become his future leader?
"Hahahaha! He is my son-in-law!" Marquis Steim laughed proudly, boasting about Dave as .
The nobles around him exchanged glances, some surprised and others skeptical. But no one could deny what they were witnessing—Dave was an absolute monster on the battlefield.
Meanwhile, Marquis Steim wasn't just standing around boasting. He was also fighting fiercely on the northern front, defending the kingdom from another wave of golems. Even as he fought, he kept an eye on King, carefully protecting him too.
At the same time, Dave had also been keeping tabs on Marquis Steim. Right before coming here, he got the quest from his Wife Irene, who is worried about her father, Marquis Steim, to keep him safe.
The other nobles now felt uneasy, even fearful. Marquis Steim, despite holding only the rank of a Marquis, had accumulated an immense amount of power.
As the Lord of the North, he had saved the region from destruction, solidifying his influence and earning the unwavering loyalty of his people. Now, with Dave as his son-in-law, his power only grew, making the other nobles nervous about their own positions in the kingdom.
Meanwhile, King Wiesbaden was delighted. Seeing such powerful warriors fighting for his kingdom reassured him. But his happiness increased even more when Diana and the others finally arrived—along with members of the Tzedkah Guild, who were now part of Dave's guild.
At first, the Tzedkah Guild members were shocked to see that Dave was their new guild leader. But after Lauel explained everything, they quickly rushed to join the battlefield.
However, since they had just teleported in, they still needed a moment to get fully ready before engaging in battle.
