71 Stroke of Luck and Strange Interference
The bladed weapon was a Guandao. It had a meter-long blade, powerful and wide, with black and dark green patterns attached to a two-meter-long shaft—a massive bladed pole weapon.

"Do you know how to use this weapon?" Erix asked, seeing Rin's expression.
"Of course! I have mastery of all prominent melee weapons," Rin cheekily grinned. "If we fought with various weapons, I would have more wins than you."
*Caw!!*
Suddenly, they saw a giant black mutated crow with dark blue patterns on its body rushing upward from the wilderness below.
It was coming straight at them.
"Nice. Perfect opportunity to test this weapon," Erix lightly laughed and gave the Guandao to Rin.
"Watch," Rin chuckled and grabbed the Guandao before she stood up and flew towards the incoming crow with her Lightning Spark wings.
The crow saw Rin coming and ferociously cawed in the signature cry of the crow, but more ear-piercing than an ordinary crow's caw!
It was also not a useless call because a dark blue liquid solidified around its body and shot crystal shards toward Rin.
Rin grinned as Guandao was spinning around her hands masterfully as powerful gusts of black wind had already gathered around its huge blade!
When those crystal shards neared, she waved her Guandao horizontally in a smoothly quick arc to maintain wind and deflected the shards with a timely move.
Out of three shards, two directly shot back toward the crow!
Erix and Isabella were impressed.
"She is so talented," Isabella murmured.
Moreover, the speed at which Rin was spinning her Guandao circularly all the time was fast at an inhuman level because her strength and agility were no longer in the human realm.
However, normal humans couldn't wield this strange Guandao in the first place because it was made from magical material, causing it to weigh a ton.
*Caw!*
The crow and Rin finally closed in after the first bout.
The crow's wings were covered in crystal coating, but Rin's smile widened as lightning flickered in her eyes.
*Crackle!!*
Lightning Charge!

Her Guandao was instantly empowered as the clash shattered the crow's dark blue crystal armor before a strange reaction of Rin's lightning with the dark wind swirling around the Guandao's blade suddenly created a whirling spiral of dark lightning charges as they moved rapidly around the crow as if sticking to it! *Boom!*
The strange dark lightning exploded a moment later, resulting in the beast's death!

"Woah, what was that?!" Rin was startled at the phenomenon that just occurred.
She looked up at Erix and Isabella while flying back. "Did you see that?"
"Yeah," Erix nodded, musing. "So there's a chance that combining lightning with the wind will create something like that, but I think that was only possible because you have a lightning affinity."
"True, but this is so awesome," Rin grinned. "Alright, this will be my main weapon for a while." Rin excitedly manifested her Blade Eater and fed Neferwind Guandao to it.
"Rin. You also have that blade heating power of Ruined Blade sword…" Isabella said with a thoughtful expression. "What if you also empower Guandao's blade with it?"
"A reaction of three elements?" Rin's eyes shined. "I'll try it when I can wield it again."
"Isn't there a weapon I can use?" Aaron muttered. "I also want to use one."
"Aaron," Isabella lightly tapped on his head. "You are still too young."
Aaron pouted and then yawned. "I will sleep."
The kid then lay on the fluffy back of Sangle and closed his eyes. Being a child and a normal human with no power-up yet, he was already tired because he played a lot with other kids and had loads of fun for the first time after the calamity started.
Isabella lovingly caressed his head and lightly sighed. "He actually wanted to stay there for a bit because he had fun with other kids, but he didn't say anything since he knew we had to leave." free(w)ebnov(e)l
"Situations forces even small kids to grow faster," Erix nodded as he remembered a glimpse of his life when living in slums with his mother. Those memories were forgotten naturally as a part of his growth, but after getting stronger, he could recall things from as far as when he was three years old.
"Alright, let's open our last reward," Erix said in a low voice as he took out the Tier-1 Item box (Epic guaranteed).

Erix heard the surprising notifications before a magnificent dark silver glow emerged from the shining golden item box. It was a strange item.
A rope. Two meters long finger-width dark silver, brown patterned rope, with a solidly attached dreadful palm-sized white snake-skull at its end, the two giant fangs and eye sockets indicated that this skull didn't belong to a normal snake, but a unique creature giving off the scent of something ancient and mythical.
It glowed with a faint sparkly silver hue on its pristine white structure after resting on Erix's palm.
"Eh?! How did you get a legendary item?!" Rin was shocked.
"It apparently upgraded by a stroke of luck generated by my achievements."
