Talentless Extra Of The Legendary Hero Academy-Chapter 31: Founder
Moer, the Admin responsible for sorting registration of all kinds, was working late into the night again. Her eyes were bloodshot because, for the first time in months, she was actually working hard.
The problem at the research facility had caused so many problems that the admins were among those who felt its backlash.
Most of the registrations were automatic, but she still had to imprint them onto papers for another storage. Humanity might have the malfunctioning system, but they didn't truly trust it. After all, the system isn't how it should be.
So she was working late and was even more irritated.
But suddenly she heard a ding sound, which surprised her because no notification should make any sound when she was working. They would just pile up until she got to them.
But this one had forced its way forward. Meaning it was impossible.
With a thought, Moer brought it closer. She saw it, and then she stared at it for a long time because it didn't make sense to her.
She swallowed. "The system crashed?"
But it didn't. What means...
She gave a dry laugh. "This must be some kind of prank. From the Head Administration, perhaps."
She nodded firmly to herself. "Yes. And with this simple step I should be able to verify its authenticity... I knew it! It's... real?"
Suddenly she flew up from her seat and shivered. "Severin Reignhart, Leader and Founder, House of Chains."
She remembered those sets of cold blue eyes and she shuddered. "I'm screwed."

Head Instructor Darius Faulkner wasn't having the best of the week. The attack on the facility had not only been a shameful thing, it was also a very big blow to the Academy.
Almost all their researchers were dead, and the rest were hesitant, deciding if they should stay or leave since they weren't sure of their safety and were just straight-out traumatized by the event.
The only thing making them stay was the instrument found with the dead spy researcher—the instrument that was found deep in his heart and apparently granted him power similar to Etherion users.
For the moment, some of them were curious about the instrument and would stay to study it.
"But that... it is just a temporary solution. The fact that they felt confident to carry out their operation—Scar, huh?"
His informants had provided all the information they had on the Scar, a revolutionary faction. At least, that's what they started as, but now they've been committing small, noticeable crimes targeted at the Etherion users in the Academy.
"They have very large numbers of normal humans, but it seems they have some Etherion users as well. But what now made them placed on red alert is that power they used. The power that's not Etherion."
For the fact that they attacked the Academy and tried to steal the Key, they've been named terrorists.
Just then he heard something.
Ding! Ding!
"What is this?" His one remaining eye narrowed, then it went wide before it became flat. Darius didn't get surprised often. In fact, there wasn't much that could move him anymore.
"But this... a new House?"
Then he checked the name and he sat back down. "He used the credits that were given to him to create a House? House of Chains?"
"Will you look at that. He already registered the House, almost as if he was sure he would be getting an impossible amount of credits. As expected, it wasn't entirely a coincidence that he was in the facility with the Key."freewēbnoveℓ.com
"This little bastard... seems it was the right choice to let him live after all. He's a link. Whether he knew about the Scar or not, he's now their target. I will get something from him at the end of all this."
His eyes narrowed. "But what a futile effort this is. Wasting all that credit on something that will fail. Ah, what a shame. If only he had a higher rank ability."
"Then shall I set a test for him?"

Likon Adam, Leader of House Solarin, stared at the notification in horror. It was late at night and he was reviewing some papers when the annoying ding sounded, flashing a notification in his face.
"Severin Reignhart, Leader and Founder, House of Chains? What in the fuckery is this? What is House Chain?"
He was in the final year, like every other leader, and he half stood on his chair. "This... the world has turned upside down. A new House? How's that even possible? How did he even amass that amount of credits?"
"And who is this Severin Reignhart? Eh? This is a first year? And... the only F-rank in the Academy? I see. The world is finally mad."

Klinger Rover, Leader of the House Blackthorn, spun a dagger in his hand and stared at the notification with a smirk. "Well, well. Finally something interesting is happening. A new House? At least I will get some fun out of this."
"Wait, it's a weakling? Seriously? This might be boring, but then there's a way to make the weak interesting in their own right. Especially those that reach for more than they could carry."

Tem Rem, Leader of House Caelum, stared at the notification without expression, but her face was carved in rigidity. Finally, she smirked. "Ah."

Grey Finn, Leader of House Draconis, was covered in blood. All around him, dead monsters lay in heaps, their bodies torn in ways that their individual appearance was almost unrecognizable.
"Eh? This is fun! I should take a look at him. For him to be able to get one hundred thousand credits... oh... he's a weakling."
Immediately, he'd lost interest, turning away and heading deeper into the forest.

All over the Academy, more and more people held the same opinion as they saw the notification of something they'd never seen or heard before.
But immediately they saw the name of the founder, they thought all of it a joke. A prank of sort.
