"I am sorry, Dan. I am really sorry." Nera gritted her teeth, she took Dan’s knife and pointed it to her own neck, as she threatened Rei to back off.

Both Rei and Dan were taken aback by her action, neither of them expected this to happen.

"Are you crazy!? Put it down! I said put it down!" Rei was furious, especially when he saw blood started trickling down from her neck. He tried to rush toward Nera and snatch the stupid knife from her hand, but she pressed the sharp knife against her neck even harder, it was a clear warning for Rei. "Do you even know what you are doing?!"

Dan stopped groveling, as he stared at Nera, he shook his head, telling her not to do it. He stood up as well.

"Nera, please..." Dan said. "I had lost my father and brother, I can’t lose you too."

Right at that time, Rei attacked Dan. He seemed no longer care, as he literally beheaded Dan with his dark magic.

Dan had his back against Rei, which was a grave mistake for him and when he tried to talk to Nera, that was the last thing he did, because the next thing that happened, his body had dropped dead to the floor and his head rolled to the other side of the room.

Everything went too fast, if Rei and Dan didn’t expect Nera to use her own life to threaten Rei, then Nera didn’t expect Rei would do this despite how she had put her life on the line.

And in that split second, when Nera was froze upon witnessing the most gruesome sight before her eyes, Rei rushed toward her and snatched the knife from Nera’s hand. He immediately put her to sleep, because he couldn’t afford it if she tried to harm herself again.

When Nera opened her eyes, she stared at the ceiling. This place was very familiar. She knew the smell of her own bedroom and it was very sickening. She felt suffocating.

Nera didn’t even surprise that she was back to her old bedroom. The same bed she had been sleeping on ever since she could remember.

This was a huge room, which provided everything that she wanted, but it was a confinement for her.

Two weeks later, Rei came when he heard Nera was so calm. He looked happy and cheerful, as he brought her a bouquet of flowers, as if nothing had happened.

She walked with Rei in the garden, she stayed with him and told him the words that he wanted to hear, she acted the way he wanted her to be and she did everything to please him.
