The Evolution of Genius: Every Night, I Get Smarter!-Chapter 90: Unified Theory
Chapter 90: Unified Theory
Oliv and Alex walked into my room with wide eyes, taking in the chaos they saw.
Papers were stuck to the walls like strange patchwork, notes were strewn across the floor like leaves, and writings were visible on any surface one would look at.
Used pens were all over the place, and empty water bottles added to the mess.
As they looked at the scene, their faces changed from shock to worry. "Max, what the hell happened here?" Alex asked, looking around the room in shock.
"Is everything okay? This does not seem normal," Oliv asked as she looked at the walls covered in equations and graphs that had been scribbled on quickly.
Looking at them with determined eyes, I said, "No, everything’s fine. This is how I set up an environment that helps me focus. I need the stimuli—the constant flow of information around me. That is how I learn best."
Their confused looks showed that they did not understand my unusual way of learning.
"This may look like chaos, but it is organized chaos. Each piece fits together. It is a visual representation of my thought process," I said, pointing to the notes on the walls. Each one was a related idea or concept I was currently studying.
Oliv and Alex thoughtfully made their way through my room, looking at the notes and being careful not to disrupt anything.
Alex asked, "So, what are you learning now? Still quantum physics?"
I looked at him and replied, "Yes. I’m working on the Unified Quantum Theory. Most of these notes are individual components of that theory."
I spun my chair around to face the exit, and with a theatrical sweep of my hand, I pointed to the different walls. "Over here," I said, indicating the notes on my left, "are the fundamental particles—the smallest building blocks. There are not just 12 but 15 of them. Each note represents a detail; many notes come together to explain one of the particles."
Then I turned to my right and pointed to another part of the paper. "These notes go into quantum entanglement theories, like leptogenesis. It is all about the complicated connections between the particles, how they come together to build the world, and how they affect each other over very long distances."
Finally, I turned to the front wall, gesturing toward the densest cluster of notes. "And here, right in front of you... is an idea that anything in the quantum world has the potential to move faster than the speed of light. However, because of our three-dimensional perception, we only see it as the simultaneous existence of particles in various locations at once."
After this, Oliv asked, "Are you gonna release the theory as a bunch of notes on your wall or what? This doesn’t seem efficient."
And I answer, "No, no, Oliv. I have already written over 500 pages of an organized theory. I plan to release it soon."
I feel like my sight is getting worse again. I turn to my desk and open up the last documents on the 3rd layer of quantum physics.
"Guys, I need to focus on this; give me some space, alright?"
Reluctantly, Oliv and Alex left the room. As the door closed behind them, I took a deep breath.
In the last document of the 3rd layer of quantum physics, The Observer was explained in detail: how can it make the particles in the bodies of the people inside reappear somewhere else?
As people get inside, a superposition field is created around them, and a quantum entanglement matrix makes each of the particles in their bodies able to exist in many states but still influence each other in the same way, not disrupting bodily functions.
When The Observer is closed... or in the case of the wardrobe, when the door is closed, a rapid reconfiguration of the quantum states begins.
The superposition field collapses into a single coherent state at the desired location.
When I was done studying the third layer, I went back to my Unified Quantum Theory. Using the theoretical framework I had built, I tried to answer deep questions that have always puzzled and interested people.
First and foremost, I delved into the origins of the universe. How did it come to be, and how did it evolve.
Next was time. What is time, and how does it flow within the quantum world.
The idea of leptogenesis became very important, and I explained how it answers questions about antimatter and sheds light on the asymmetry of the universe.
Finally, the questions that will be most useful for the future.
Altering relationships between magnetic charge, electric charge, and Planck’s constant.
I looked into the nature of matter and came up with the idea that matter does not really exist the way we think it does.
Instead, it manifested as unimaginably tiny strings, confirming the inklings of string theory.
However, these strings existed in a different dimension, and their vibration was based on probability.
As I thought about this discovery more, I began to get a deep understanding of how The Lord could detect anomalies within the cluster.
The strings exhibited vibrations with varying probabilities. Rare occurrences, those with low probabilities, stood out. The Lord could discern these subtle vibrations and identify deviations from the expected patterns.
Finally, these very small strings wanted to be stable and fought their natural urge to vibrate.
This resistance mirrored the behavior of matter within the gravitational field of a massive black hole’s singularity. All matter desired to stop vibrating. It desired to come to singularity.
Lost in thought, I glanced at the clock and discovered it was already 4 AM.
Time had swiftly slipped away. I decided to catch a quick nap and woke up at 5:30.
My parents were already up.
Realizing I hadn’t eaten since yesterday morning, I grabbed some ham and cheese from the fridge, only to find there was no bread...
Lucky for me, there was a bakery nearby, so I hurriedly bought some bread and had a hasty breakfast.
I needed to return to Coelus for my first day at Excellence University.
As I was preparing, the doorbell rang.
hurried downstairs and swung the door open, clad in my black t-shirt and I opened the door. A tall man stood on the other side of the door.
"Good morning, Sir Maximillian Sullivan?", he said.
"Yes, that’s me."
"I represent the USA Physics Association. Congratulations are in order."
Perplexed, I asked, "Congratulations? For what?"
"You’ve been chosen as the 2024 Nobel Prize winner in Physics." He handed me a letter, "Your groundbreaking contributions have caught the attention of the Novel Committee and The Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences. The ceremony is in December."
"Oh! Well... thank you. December... right. Thank you.", I looked up at the man.
"The USA Physics Association is proud to have a scientist of your caliber representing the country. Your achievements are truly remarkable. Congratulations once again."
I nodded, "Thank you. I appreciate the recognition."
"Have a great day, Sir Sullivan. I’m sure we’ll be hearing more about you. If you need anything, don’t hesitate to contact us."
The smell of sausages filled the air as I walked up the stairs holding the letter in my hand. When I got to the kitchen, my parents were eating breakfast at the table.
"Max, who was it at the door?", my mother asked.
"Oh, just someone who delivered a letter from Sweden."
Her interest piqued, she set aside her fork and asked further, "Sweden? What’s in the letter?"
I threw the letter on the table, "Apparently, I’ve been chosen as the 2024 Nobel Prize winner in Physics."
"That’s incredible, Max!" My mother said, but due to the events of the previous day, her excitement was somewhat overshadowed by more serious matters.
Similarly, with my father, he picked up the letter from the table and opened it, then began reading.
This was certainly something to celebrate, but I had more pressing issues on my mind.
I informed my parents that I needed to return to Coelus. "I’ll be back in the evening," I assured them.
Then I went to the room where Oliv had been sleeping. When I walked in, I saw that Oliv was already awake, and I could see the soft light of the morning through the curtains.
She was in the midst of changing, slipping into leggings. "Oliv, I need to go. I’ll be back in the evening," I informed her, sensing her reluctance.
"Hmm... come on. Stay," she half-protested, her voice carrying a hint of invitation.
I sighed, conflicted. "No, Oliv. I told The Lord that I’ll be there early in the morning."
I approached her, embracing her gently and kissing her cheek tenderly. "I’ll be back soon,"
I left the room and headed to the wardrobe.
Closing the door behind me and reopening it, I found myself at the top of the Nexus Tower on Coelus.
However, it wasn’t The Lord who awaited me this time. Instead, there stood an older man in a brown gown who was wearing a red cylindrical hat with a wide circular brim.
As I stepped out of the wardrobe, he greeted me, saying, "Hello, Max. I’m Mentor Alfredo. Nice to meet you."
