Lucas stood silently at the side while Harris looked at the Phantom Reversal Technique.

Harris rubbed his chin and pondered for a moment.

In the meantime, he would occasionally take a glimpse of Lucas and go back to look at the technique.

A few hours ago, Lucas came looking for him for some guidance which he happily agreed and asked him what he needed guidance for.

After Lucas's explanation, Harris decided to take a look at the technique.

The Phantom Reversal Technique was the copy that Harris got using his authority for reference.

The more Harris pondered, the more stressed Lucas became.

'Why is he studying the technique as if he was learning some rocket science.'Lucas muttered inwardly.

"So, this is the technique you used in the last match. It looked quite weird and I thought something happened to you when you just stood still and let the attack come closer to you." Harris spoke, rubbing his chin.

"Lucas this is a good sword scripture. The techniques are quite good but you are quite reckless in using the technique without proper preparation and practice."

"Don't do that in future."

Lucas heard Harris scolding and nodded his head like an obedient child.

"What you did was to use a thing when neither your body nor your mind is accustomed to it."

"Do you even understand the core of the technique?" Harris asked with an irritated tone.

"It was not that serious and I am practising it for a few days," Lucas spoke nonchalantly.

"So you are saying a few days of practice is enough."

"Listen, Lucas, this is not about being a genius who can grasp things in a few seconds"

"This was never about grasping the moves. It's about your body. You clearly understand that it requires high flexibility."

Lucas nodded.

"Now just think if you accidentally stretched your body beyond the limits and something bad happens then you will be crippled for your entire life. Don't think that potion can cure anything." Harris spoke.

"There are some things that the potion can't heal. Potions are not omnipotent. One shouldn't rely on potions too much. Do you understand?" Harris spoke and reprimanded.

"Sorry, I didn't think that far," Lucas said, scratching his cheek in embarrassment.

What Harris said was exactly what Lucas thought. He was carefree thinking that if something goes wrong he would be able to use a potion to cure him but now he knew how wrong his mindset was.

In most of his battle where he couldn't overwhelm his enemy, he would just use suicidal moves to win.

"That's not even the primary problem," Harris said, which surprised Lucas.

"Huh," Lucas exclaimed.

"Lucas, do you remember what Miss Ami advised you when you entered the academy?" Harris asked with a questioning tone.

Lucas rubbed his chin, trying to recall what Harris was talking about.

"Are you talking about coordination? Like I know the moves but my body can't get used to it."Lucas spoke.

" Yeah."Harris nodded and further added, "It had become worse."

"Your coordination seemed to become a mess."

"What?" Lucas screamed.

"But how..why.When did it happen."Lucas muttered hurriedly and felt as if his world was spinning around him.

" It's happened shortly after you came back from the exploration. It may be because of your sudden advancement while you are im an unconscious state or something else but whatever may be the reason it became worse when started to practice this."Harris spoke with a solemn expression.

Lucas thought, maybe it was due to his future self occupying his body he got tons of combat experience but he wasn't able to integrate it into his body. No, he just didn't focus on it till now.

Lucas scratched his head and thought about it and asked"So are you saying that I am not compatible with this technique."ᰍaꪧda ᱅o᱇ꫀl

"No, that's not what I meant."

"Lucas you need to work on your movement and footwork. For most of the attacks, you don't have footwork."

"Most of the time either you overpower your enemy while increasing your speed and surprising your enemy or using various kinds of tricks."

"These cheap tricks won't work always. This worked on Roman because you are clearly in defending position till the beginning but at the end, you broke through and using those techniques increased your speed and you went into an offensive mode which surprised Roman."

"The next fight isn't going to be tough as Roman. So, I suggest you fight properly without relying on tricks okay. You can use skill only when your opponent is using his skill or bloodline ability." Harris explained.

Lucas heard Harris's explanation and got to know about many things and weak points.

But he was curious about one thing and asked"Sir, Harris how did you know I am hiding my skills even when I never said to anyone."

Harris just smiled and hit Lucas on his forehead.

"Ouch!" Lucas exclaimed.

"Did you forget, I am your teacher?" Harris spoke with a satisfied expression.

"Wait seriously! How did you know?" Lucas asked

"You don't need to know about that. I have my sources just like you have yours."

"Let me give some advice. Lucas, you are jumping in ranks too quickly."

"Do you understand? When you entered, you were an early 1-Star and now you are in mid-3-Star. You have jumped 2 whole major realms. While the best student had barely jumped one and a half major realm."

"So, slow down a little and absorb your experience and strengths. You aren't able to keep up with your strength and if it goes on your foundation will become unstable. If you can do it then you advance as quickly as possible as your wish."

Harris patted Lucas and spoke"Lucas, everyone had a secret one of two. In a world like this, it would be weird if people don't have any secrets."

"What you have to do is not to let the strength get on your head," Harris advised.

Lucas nodded and was genuinely thankful for Harris's guidance as he pondered about it.

His advancement had been really quick. Two of his jumps were due to his bloodline upgrading and his future self occupying his body which increased his mana channels.

"Thanks. I will keep this in my mind."

"Now, listen first make your body flexible and practice basic sword techniques instead of this. Once your body is suitable for it. We will work on it." Harris patted and started to oversee Lucas's training.

....

Lucas stretched his neck which made a cracking sound and looked for Roan.

He had left Roan with Aaron but Aaron due to sudden work had to go back.

CLANK!

Lucas entered Fredrick's room and saw two guys fighting.

Lucas leaned on the wall and observed their match.

Lucas looked at Roan and was pleased with his growth. Roan looked a little taller and his body had gained some mass.

His skin had become smooth and he was starting to give a mature vibe rather than being a wimp.

BANG!BANG!BANG

Roan stepped forward and kicked Fredrick. Fredrick raised his hand to defend but felt a strong force hit his wrist and he took a step back.

He smirked when he felt Roan's strength had gone by a margin.

Roan wiped off his sweat and looked at Fredrick with a sharp gaze and raised both his hand clenching his fist.

BANG!

Roan punched but Fredrick just parried his attack by using his palm.

BANG!BANG!

A loud banging sound reverberated across the room as Fredrick used his palm to stop Roan's attack.

Roan felt that Fredrick was only defending but it didn't hurt his feeling and he increased the speed and intensity of his punch.

Since Fredrick is acting as a punching dummy, Roan didn't want to leave this opportunity to practice and started to punch harder and harder.

Fredrick had already broken through to 4-Star and Roan's punches felt ticklish to him so he let him do as he please for a moment.

But in the next moment, he retracted his palm and clenched his fist and threw a fist at Roan's chest.

With a loud bang, Fredrick's fist collided with Roan's chest and Roan was shot in the air and fell to the ground sliding against the floor of the training room.

Roan, tried to get up but he felt unable to breathe for a moment as the previous punch seemed to crush his lungs and he coughed.

After coughing, he lay on the floor and took a deep and heavy breath and spoke"This is cheating, isn't Lucas?"

Lucas stood at the side at Roan's question and looked at Fredrick and spoke"Fredrick sensei, please answer this disciple question."

"Roan, you are still too naive," Fredrick spoke clicking his tongue.

" Just because, I let you hit me. You dropped your guard too early and thought that I wouldn't attack you."

"You shouldn't think like this. In a fight, you should always think of every worst possible case that the enemy may come upon to counterattack you."

"Do you understand?" Fredrick asked.

"Hey, you don't need to tell me all that. I just asked casually. I know it was my mistake as I lost myself a little." Roan spoke panting heavily.

"You don't need to feel bad. Lucas was also like that who lose his guard most of the time."

"I don't know about people who are born as genius but most of us are like that. Most of the noble start training at the age of 10 while others like you start at 14-15." Fredrick spoke.

Lucas nodded as he thought about it, he was ashamed to compare the children at age of 10 from the world to his previous world.
