The Guide is Actually a Body-Switching Esper [BL]-Chapter 196: Already Morning
Chapter 196: Already Morning
"...Another round?"
Damien lay on his stomach, still gasping for breath, when he heard Lane’s voice coming from behind. Asking the same question he had already asked... how many times that night? Damien blinked a few times, trying to organize the steamy memories in his fuzzy mind.
Six or seven times. Damien didn’t really know much about sex and relationships, but even he could tell that it was a lot. freewebnoveℓ.com
He lifted his head slightly, glancing at the window. It wasn’t immediately obvious, since they kept the lights on the entire night, but the sky was already bright outside. Which meant that it was already late, by his standards. Usually, he should have already finished his workout by now, and should be having breakfast in his office, while going through paperwork...
Well, he should probably forget about having a ’normal day’ for now.
"Hmm? What do you say?" Lane asked again, his tone pleading and sweet, while his hands, as if pulled by some magnetic force, clung to Damien’s body once again, squeezing his ass and sliding down his stomach toward his cock...
"Lane." Damien caught Lane by the wrist before his fingers could reach the dangerous territory. "We need to talk."
Lane flinched, freezing for a moment. Still, just a few seconds later, he was already snuggling up to Damien. His hand might have been captured, but the rest of his body was not!
"Mn, I know," he murmured softly, in a voice that brought to mind a cat purring when asking for cuddles. "And we will... But first..."
"It’s already morning," Damien pointed out.
"Is it? Well, that’s not a problem... There’s no rule that says you can’t have sex during the day..."
"Lane."
"Mn..." Lane closed his eyes. Pretending to be sleepy for a change, since his seduction wasn’t working as it was supposed to anymore.
But Damien wouldn’t be fooled so easily. He let out a sigh, and flipped Lane over, so that he could get up. Then, he went to the bathroom to wash himself up, as he was all sweaty and sticky from leftover cum after their busy night. He would have taken Lane with him... But he didn’t have a bathtub, only a tiny shower. It would be a tight squeeze for them both, and it would be hard for him to shower Lane when the man was so bent on pretending to sleep... Not to mention, there was a risk Lane would try something again if they got in together, and Damien wasn’t confident in his ability to resist the man.
So, he quickly washed up alone, flushing as he finally got to see just how many marks Lane had left behind on his skin. They reached all the way up his neck, above what his uniform’s collar would cover up... It was a good thing he had already decided to call in sick today. They were only having the team training, so Hallie would be able to cover up for him just fine...
Not that it made him feel any less guilty for skipping work because of personal matters. But he knew that if he were to leave now, he would be useless anyway, unable to focus as he still hadn’t cleared things up with Lane.
"It’s your turn," he nudged Lane softly as he stepped out, in clean clothes and with his hair still wet, droplets of water dripping down and sinking into the towel wrapped around his neck. "Wash up, if you want to have breakfast."
At the word ’breakfast’, Lane’s ears immediately perked up. "What are you making?"
"Pancakes. With fresh strawberries and milk chocolate. And a caramel frappuccino to drink."
"Hmm..." Lane groaned, hugging the pillow, showing no intention to get up. Still, as Damien walked over to the kitchen and started prepping the ingredients, the prospects of having delicious, super sweet breakfast made (with love) by his boyfriend successfully lured him out of bed. Before Damien even started mixing the batter, he was already in the bathroom, quickly scrubbing his body clean. The additional benefit was that he got to smell a bit like Damien (although his cheap herbal shampoo smelled much better on the man than straight out of bottle), and even got to wear Damien’s clothes (he conveniently forgot that he had his own spare clothes in his spatial bag)! They were a bit loose on him, since Damien was more muscular and wore a larger size, but it was even better! It was so comfy, and very boyfriend-like!
There was even a spare toothbrush waiting for him, placed right on the sink, still unboxed, clearly waiting for him!
Once he was done, he went back to the room and plopped down on the chair, making himself comfortable. Or at least pretending to be comfortable, even though the anxiety was eating him away, gnawing on his insides. They were about to have breakfast now, but after that...
After that there probably would be no escape. And as much as he wanted to take the night they had spent and the meal they were about to have as good signs, his uncertainty couldn’t be so easily washed away.
"There you go," Damien put two piles of pancakes on the table, one swimming in the chocolate sauce, with a ton of strawberries on the top, while the other much plainer, with just a little bit of honey drizzled over them. Their coffees were just as different - Lane got a large, super sweet frappuccino, with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles, while Damien only had a plain black coffee.
Their tastes were just different like that. Damien was more than fine with a simple meal... So all the breakfast efforts were for Lane’s sake.
"Wow." Lane was momentarily speechless, his chest getting warm and tight all of a sudden. He could get used to mornings like that...
"Dig in," Damien said, snapping Lane out of his awe. "Or it’s going to get cold."
"Ah, yeah, right," Lane nodded absentmindedly, grabbing a fork. There was a lump in his throat, and his stomach was all queasy... But he was still determined to enjoy every bite.
If things went wrong... It could be the last time he got to enjoy Damien’s cooking, after all.
