Lory blinked a few times to make sure she wasn’t hallucinating, when she was still in the same place she was finally sure this wasn’t a hallucination but maybe... a dream? Lory turned her gaze to the unfamiliar scenery. Faraway there is a line of mountains and green hills covered with colorful flower beds and lush trees with bright green leaves that look surreal.

Suddenly a strong wind blew Lory’s body raised her arms to protect her face and after the wind passed Lory lowered her arms and was stunned because the scenery had changed.

The place still had beautiful mountains and colorful trees and flowers but now there was a city in the middle of it where tall yet sturdy buildings were arranged neatly and amongst them, a massive palace made with white stones and marble that was adorned by an intricated sculptures and massive arch that lead to a giant bridge that stretched across a wide lake as clear as a mirror.

Lory was mesmerized by the beautiful scenery then suddenly the sky turned bright red and everything was engulfed in flames, all of a sudden a giant monster emerged from the lake and destroyed the magnificent castle after that more flying monsters came from the sky then people in armor charged out of the castle, they filled the bridge and every building as they fought the monsters and strangely to each other as well.

The monster’s roar shook the sky, mixed with war cries and clashing metal, accompanied by the deafening sound of cannons and explosions. At that moment, fireballs fell from the sky and instantly everything was destroyed to pieces.

Lory covered her head and screamed. Her eyes snapped open, her chest moved up and down as she panted, it took a while for Lory to realize she was lying on the soft bed covered with a blanket, and then she noticed a crystal chandelier on the ceiling.

Lory got up from the bed and looked around. The room was white, minimalist gray with a hint of blue, like a pair of blue chairs on the side of the giant glass window.

She remembered that she asked for a blue lounge chair for her to relax while drinking chocolate milk and enjoying the view outside.

She finally realized that she was in her old bedroom. A sense of nostalgia and longing was felt in her chest.

He put on a knitted robe and walked to the railing, she cast her gaze to the living room below but found no one then Lory turned her gaze to the balcony and there she found Zhao Li Xin’s back, the man was sitting in a lotus position on a rattan sofa facing the bustling city view in front of him.

Lory walked down the stairs and then bounced through the spacious room towards the balcony, Lory forgot how spacious her bedroom was. This place was more like a small apartment with the upper floor functioning as a bed, bathroom, and walking closet while below is a place for a study room, a TV room that more often functions as a living room, and not forgets a dessert bar that she personally requests, but there not much dessert over there, yet.

In the past, Lory and Lucas often complained about how big their bedroom was, especially when they didn’t spend much time in their room when they started disguising themselves as hunters. However, since there were so many rooms in the Cestine palace, even though most of them were used as state offices, there were still plenty of rooms left over, so why not make a luxurious resting place for the royal family?

"No..." Lory sighed heavily and then grumbled softly. "I have to work," she said as she begrudgingly climbed the stairs and went to the bathroom to freshen up, knowing she was going to have a long day today.
