The Young master's fake bride and her lucky system-Chapter 206: An enemy to all handsome faces.
It was amazing how much time had passed and yet he still looked the same. He had grown taller and he was a bit more built but his boyish looks had been retained. Aang Yu Chen was the perfect model for a company which sold skin care products and luxury clothing.
He would probably be one of those people that were fifty but looked thirty because they were thirty but he could pass for twenty five or twenty six.
"I sure do hope I age like you." she blurted out.
Aang chuckled and put his jaw between the thumb and pointing finger of his left hand.
"I am exceptionally handsome, aren't I?" he said with a smirk.
"Undeniably, but don't get too cocky." she responded.
He shrugged and put his hands on the table. That smirk of his had not faded. "I am aging like fine wine. The most expensive kind on the market."
Okay, he had changed in some ways, Alix said to herself. "Ho, I don't remember you being this braggart or chatty. The modelling industry has changed you."
"You need to be confident in my line of work otherwise you can't pull off whatever they throw at you and believe me, sometimes it's ridiculous shit. But forget me, I haven't seen you in what...twelve, fifteen years and you have somehow become a tv star. I never took you for a tv career kind of girl. You were so awkward and kind of a nerd."
Alix gasped and then laughed. "Nerd, me!! Are you joking?"
He shrugged and tilted his head.
"It's called being reserved. If anybody was a nerd between the two of us it was you. You just got away with it because you were..."she raised a finger and said, "Are__, you are so damn blindingly handsome. Aaah, Jin Kang is going to be so excited to see you."
Aang suddenly looked around, his head tilting from side to side and his eyes on full panic mode. He looked at Alix and asked, "Is she here?"
"No," She replied.
She was holding back her laughter because Jin Kang had the worst crush on Aang back then, worse than her and Holea. Jin Kang followed him around whenever she got the chance. Aang was apparently still traumatized by her.
"Thank God." he said in a highly relieved voice. "I thought that I was going to have to hide under the table."
Now that was something Alix would be willing to pay to see. But they were adults and Jin Kang was not a sixteen year old with a crush anymore.
"Why are you here anyway. Are you ill?" he asked her.
She shook her head. "I have an ill family member."
His eyes moved around with realization and he said with a widely open mouth, "Aah, your sister. I remember seeing in the news that she had fallen down a sewer and suffered an unfortunate incident. How is she?"
"That is not an answer I can provide you with." she told him.
Aang had another realization and he smiled, looking all apologetic. "Right, you guys don't get along."
Everyone in the school knew that the two Lin sisters were at odds. Lin Billi moved to another school when they were sixteen but before then, both sisters attended the same high school. One was the younger talented school belle and the other was the quiet older one. Being compared to her younger sister all the time was surely a sore spot for Alix. There was no love lost between the two sisters.
In that case, she was probably here for someone else.
"Oh!" an idea crossed her mind and lit up like a light bulb in her mind. "Aang, do you have a job? Not a job-job because modeling is ypur job but like do you have something
you are doing currently? My brother is handling the winter jewelry fashion show for TFK. You would be the perfect face to model some of the jewelry. With your looks, everything you try on would probably sell out."
He frowned and a skeptical high pitched noise was emitted from his throat.
"Why?" she asked, curiously.
"I don't really do jewelry. Clothes, bikes, cars, shoes are more of my thing." he told her.
"Why?" she asked, again. "You are so handsome, you could pull it off easily. I will not force you to do something you are against but I am going to give you my brother's business card and I will tell him about you. Give it a thought and see. Never know, you could end up becoming a brand endorser for TFK earning larger amounts of money than you do now."
TFK had two brand endorsers and both happened to be women. One was a singer Lila and another an actress Go Cixi. Adding a handsome man to their mix could be a good idea.
Aang looked at the business card she handed him, read the name and looked up at her curiously.
"Senior Executive Manager Tai Ho Sun." he read.
Someone cleared a voice from next to them and they both turned to their left. Zhang Caishen was sitting in his wheelchair with his arms folded and he looked quite unhappy.
Alix sensed nothing wrong since she was doing nothing wrong. She smiled softly and even pushed her chair with her butt, moving closer to him.
"Hubby, what are you doing down here?"
She moved her side from side to side in search of Mo Sen or the other bodyguards. They were sitting at the table behind them.
Her eyes moved to Caishen's legs and then the square shaped white and black clock on the wall. His massage had ended quite quickly.
"I came down because I was hungry and happened to see you and....." He looked at the man sitting opposite her.
His handsome face couldn't help irking him. Zhang Bo's face was not enough, Tai Ho Sun's face had been added, the other brothers and now there was this one. There was a part of Caishen that strongly hated all handsome faces lately.

Aang Yu Chen had heard Alix calling him hubby and he had of course heard the news about her marriage. It was all their former classmates talked about lately in their group chats.
Alix was not even aware but her picture had been hung among those of the most accomplished students of Jianan High school. Her accomplishment was not an academic one, it was simple, she was Zhang Caishen's wife. Not that the tidbit was included below the frame of her picture. All it said was model student and best behaved in her year.
"I am Aang Yu Chen." he extended his left hand to greet Caishen.
Caishen extended his right hand and barely grasped Aang's hand. The suspiciousness and vigilance in his eyes remained strong.
"I am Xi Xi's friend and former classmate. You must be her husband, I am so pleased to meet you." Aang further introduced how he knew Alix.
All Caishen heard was Xi Xi. This handsome eyesore was referring to his wife by a name that was reserved for her closest friends and family. Exactly how close was this man to his wife?
