Luciel stayed on the sofa while Astrid and Austin were also sitting near him to watch what Lottie would show.

Lottie continued showing different magic tricks to them, using coins, rubber bands, handkerchiefs, papers, cards, magic hats, and other things.

Lottie showed a lot of magic tricks for almost two hours before stopping.

"Nice!" Luciel said to Lottie.

Even though it wasn’t as extravagant as the magic shows performed on bigger stages, it was still entertaining.

Astrid and Austin were also clearly amazed by what Lottie had been showing because they also praised Lottie every time she finished showing one of her magic tricks.

Luciel could see that Lotte was very accustomed to showing such magic tricks, and she was good at capturing the attention of her audience while properly showing magic tricks with her arrangement and hand speed.

So, Luciel asked, "Where did you learn those techniques?"

"I’ve been a member of the magic club for a long time while in university, so I learned a lot from the others while we performed in different events to liven up the atmosphere."

"I see. So, are you already prepared to go to the north base with us?"

"Ok, there are a lot of ingredients there. Prepare our meal for lunch. If you could cook some complicated dishes, try to cook some of them," Luciel said.

They had been eating simple fried dishes and soup, so Luciel also wanted to eat something else.

"Remember to cook enough for everyone, as they will be back later on. Astrid and Austin will help you," Luciel added.

"Ok, I will surely cook something delicious," Lottie promised, and then they moved towards the kitchen.

The three of them began to get busy preparing for their lunch later while Luciel was busy solving puzzles on the sofa.

Luciel had brought several copies of crossword puzzles with him, so he was answering them slowly.

He was busy answering the crossword puzzle in his hand, but he was also keeping an eye on Lottie.

Even though he had sent Astrid and Austin to help in order to watch Lottie’s actions, Luciel was also paying attention to them.

Even though he was already aware that Lottie doesn’t seem to have any bad purpose, it still doesn’t hurt to be more careful, especially when it comes to their food.

He was indeed the one who asked Lottie to cook, but he wouldn’t really just leave such matters to a stranger without watching them properly.
