Transmigrated Into the World of Magic and Swords-Chapter 161: Moon Rising Over the Sea Skill
Chapter 161: Moon Rising Over the Sea Skill
’A golden bell?’
Shock spread across the awakeners’ faces when a golden bell materialized out of nowhere, protecting them from the mythical serpent.
’This golden bell...where have I seen it?’
A strange sense of familiarity stirred within them as they stared at the golden bell.
At that moment, Kairos’ eyes widened in realization. "It’s brother Ren’s golden bell!"
"That’s right." Dan suddenly remembered their test on the fifth floor. "Brother Ren used this golden bell when he fought against Zephiron."
"Then, where is brother Ren?" Elian asked as he skimmed their surroundings.
They instinctively looked left and right but failed to find him.
When Adrian lifted his head to the sky, he saw Ren in mid-air. "Hey, brother Ren is standing in mid-air!"
A young man came into view as they lifted their heads to the sky.
His dark hair danced softly and his black robe fluttered in the wind. The world itself seemed to hold its breath in his presence as if the young man was the Ruler of the world.
That young man was none other than Ren, the person who they wished to appear since long ago.
"It’s really him! Brother Ren has appeared."
"Thank God! We are safe now!"
"With brother Ren here, everything will be fine."
"That’s right. We no longer need to worry about that beast’s Divine class skill now."
"But how can brother Ren stand in mid-air like that? Isn’t he a warrior?"
"That’s not important for now."
Their feelings of despair and anxiety were replaced with a deep sense of reassurance and hope.
Ren also had mastered a Divine class skill, so their fear of Asher’s skill vanished in an instant.
"It’s him?!" Ardentis’ happy feelings disappeared without a trace because Ren’s face reignited the memories of all the humiliation and mockery he had endured from him.
"Human, you have finally left the temple. I’ve been waiting for you." Asher remained calm because he believed he was stronger than Ren.
Ren ignored Asher and Ardentis because he wanted to know the conditions of his women.
"Ren!" Scarlett waved happily when their gaze met.
"You have finally appeared, Ren." Lexie said as she smiled.
Ren’s eyes gleamed with a terrifying sharpness when he noticed the injuries on his women.
"Snakes, chickens, you have made a great mistake." Ren’s playful behavior was nowhere to be seen and every single one of his words was filled with coldness.
Asher’s lips curled up into a grin when he saw Ren’s cold expression. "Come and fight me. Let’s settle our unfinished battle once and for all."
Right after his voice stopped, a massive mythical serpent slithered out of the void.
*Hiss...
The mythical serpent hissed at Ren, causing his hair to dance wildly.
"Ugly snake, disappear from my sight." As Ren was raising his sword, the battlefield turned into an unnatural silence.
A silver glow gathered along the sword’s edge, and air twisted around him.
The mythical serpent charged toward him when it sensed imminent danger. But before it could reach him, Ren swung his sword in a single, fluid motion.
*Shui...
A crescent arc of silver light shot forward, slicing through the air in absolute silence.
Its movement was so fast that the world itself struggled to register its existence. The serpent hissed sharply just before the collision, unleashing its full strike.
Boom!
A deafening explosion ripped through the battlefield as their attacks collided, sending shockwaves rippling through the air.
The lake’s waters trembled, the mountain collapsed into rubble, and most of the platform steps crumbled into ruins.
Elara and other magical beasts were shocked by what they were seeing because Ren didn’t use the Finger of Death skill as they expected.
’He mastered more than one Divine class skills?!’
Ardentis and the others gritted their teeth while Asher remained calm because his Divine class skill was not inferior to Ren’s.
"It’s a different skill!"
"Does...does that mean brother Ren has mastered more than one Divine class skill?"
"Haha. As expected of brother Ren, he is sure amazing!"
All awakeners were delighted when they found out that Ren had mastered more than one Divine class skill.
As for Zaria and Ariana, they remained silent as they began to accept the idea that using Divine class skills was simply normal for him because he used two Divine class skills shortly after they met.
"Amazing, Ren!" Scarlett praised him as usual.
Lexie didn’t praise him like Scarlett because several questions suddenly popped up in her mind.
’Didn’t he say he had only mastered three Divine class skills? With the golden bell, that should make it four... so when did he gain another one? Did he acquire it on the way to the top floor?’
She didn’t believe the skill he had just used was the Legacy skill because it seemed too weak to belong to the Moon God’s legacy.
"Human, don’t think that you have won just because you’ve mastered more than one Divine skill. My brother’s Divine Skill is special. It can grow stronger." Ardentis turned to his older brother. "Brother, use that transformation."
Asher nodded his head before preparing to use his Divine class skill again.
Behind him, the magical beasts channeled their spiritual energy into him because the mythical serpent needed a vast amount of power to transform into its special form.
*Hiss...
The mythical serpent let out an eerie hiss after it emerged from the void.
This time, the mythical serpent’s scales gleamed a deep red.
Even though its size was smaller, anyone could tell that its power was much more powerful than the previous one.
"Human, use your Divine class skill again. Let’s see whose skill is stronger." Asher didn’t attack Ren right away because he wanted to make him suffer first.
"You want to compare our Divine-class skills? Fine. I will entertain your foolishness." Right after Ren’s voice stopped, the daytime turned into night.
The solid ground beneath them transformed into a vast emerald ocean and the sound of the howling sea echoed in the entire area.
Behind him, a colossal full moon rose slowly into the sky, its silver rays piercing the darkness, casting an ethereal glow over the endless sea.
Moon Rising Over the Sea!
Asher wanted to compare their Divine class skills, so he decided to use the legacy of the Moon God.
’This...this is...’
Awakeners and magical beasts found it hard to believe what was happening.
They knew Divine class skills could alter the weather, but Ren’s skill was beyond that.
It changed the world itself!
They even felt like they had been teleported to an unknown place because everything was completely different from before.
"Night, moon, sea..." Asher’s pupils quivered when he realized everything.
’No... it can’t be...’
He had heard of the Moon God’s ultimate skill before, so seeing it unfold before his eyes threw his mind into chaos because the one summing it was not the Moon God but Ren.
’No! This is impossible!’
Even if Ren had inherited the Moon God’s legacy, mastering it within mere hours should have been impossible because his legacy was Divine class high-level skill.
"Brother, what’s wrong?" Ardentis was shocked when he noticed his elder brother’s shaken state.
Elara’s eyes widened in alarm. "Brother Asher, what’s happening to you?"
"It’s... it’s the legacy of the Moon God." Asher’s voice trembled with disbelief.
"What?!" Elara and the others said in surprise.
"You’re joking... right, Brother?" Ardentis asked with an unsteady voice.
Asher didn’t answer his question and stared at Ren with a mix of fear and disbelief as if he were looking at a monster, not a human being.
Lexie, who heard their conversation, mused, "So, this is the legacy of the Moon God. No wonder it’s so amazing."
"I was right. Ren is the mysterious inheritor!" Scarlett said happily.
"Hmm?" Finley left the eighth floor when he noticed the change in the world, followed by his subordinates.
Azriel, who was floating above the temple with the others, had a surprised face. "Leader, this is..."
"...my ultimate skill, Moon Rising Over the Sea." Finley’s lips curled up into a smile as he looked at Ren.
’He looks like a Moon God.’
Ren had a flawless appearance, so added with the luminous moon behind him made him look like a Moon God.
"I know his talent is Grade S, but mastering leader’s ultimate skill this quickly still leaves me stunned," Azrael stated.
"It took me years to create this technique, but it only took him a few minutes to master it. I really got an amazing successor. Haha." Finley laughed happily.
"Congratulation, leader."
"Congratulation, leader."
One by one, his subordinates congratulated him for getting an amazing successor.
"For your information, he is the new leader of our organization now." Finley’s smile grew bigger as he shared the news.
"What?! How?" his subordinates were shocked because they thought Ren had only inherited his ultimate skill.
"Well, I had to bribe him with two high Tier magic spells and a Divine-class skill just to get him to agree, but it was worth it because he is Aeris." Finley revealed how he persuaded Ren.
"What?! He is Aeris?!" his subordinates said in surprise again.
"You don’t know?" Finley thought they knew about this because they also met him.
"No." Azriel shook his head. "He only used a skill on the test."
"Yeah." Zaphiron added. "He didn’t use magic when he fought me." fгeewёbnoѵel.cσm
"Then... that means..." Azriel’s voice trailed off and his mind was racing.
"Yes. He has the right to fight for the throne in the future." Finley finished Azrael’s sentence.
"Congratulation once again, leader." His subordinates congratulated him one more because Ren was Aeris.
"Then, leader, what about our... problem? Did you tell him about it?" Azriel asked curiously.
"No." Finley shook his head. "If fate allows, we will handle it ourselves. But if not...then I will leave it in destiny’s hands."
