Wang Hao sighed. “It’s exactly because we can’t find anyone else to go to the Cage that I said I was only 30% confident in saving Qiu Lei.”
“No others have access to the Cage or the military base?” Ling Xiao asked with a frown.
Wang Hao shook his head. “There are a few people on this planet who can go to these two moons, but they’re not easy to deal with and not as gullible as Ye Qing. Also, the military area is heavily guarded. Nobody can enter without Zhao Kun’s permission.”
“So, we’ll need Zhao Kun’s permission if we want Ye Qing to carry the spiders to the military base?” Ling Xiao’s eyes twitched. It did not seem very promising!
“You want to go to Zhao Kun?”
At this moment, Xia Weiwei and Le Xuan walked in and looked at Wang Hao in confusion.
“Weren’t you training in the wilderness? Why do you look so dirty?” Ling Xiao looked at the two girls who were covered in dust.
“You don’t know what happened.” Xia Weiwei poured herself a cup of water and said, “We happened upon Zhao Kun’s granddaughter, who was heavily wounded in the forest. We kindly rescued her, but she mistook Le Xuan for a rapist.”
“Xia Weiwei, does your conscience not hurt?” Le Xuan stomped in fury. If Xia Weiwei hadn’t taken advantage of Zhao Yiling, there wouldn’t have been any trouble at all.
Xia Weiwei nodded and said solemnly, “I’m speaking with my conscience. Everything I said is true.”
“Xia Weiwei!” Le Xuan was even more furious.
“Stop bickering. Can either of you tell me what happened exactly?” Wang Hao was confused. “How did you get to know Zhao Kun’s granddaughter?”
“It’s a long story!” Xia Weiwei sighed.
“Then just cut the long story short!” Le Xuan glared at Xia Weiwei, who seemed to have turned into a scamp now.
“Help me, Brother Wang!”
Right then, Ye Qing cried from outside, as if he were a pig being butchered.
“What happened to him?” Wang Hao was stunned. Who could possibly make Ye Qing so miserable on this planet?
Ye Qing rushed in and cupped his hands at Le Xuan. “Brother Jade-Faced Dragon, I’ve been so busy entertaining myself that I overlooked you. You must forgive me…”
“Get out of the way!”
Before she was able to finish, a girl in black had pushed him away coldly.
Instead of bursting into fury as everybody thought he would, Ye Qing simply stepped aside obediently.
Le Xuan and Xia Weiwei looked at each other. They couldn’t be more nervous. They knew that the girl in black worked for Zhao Yiling and wondered if she had found out their identity.
The girl in black looked at Le Xuan and said softly, “My lady is holding a poetry party tonight. Everybody here is invited.”
“A poetry party? Everybody is invited?”
Le Xuan and Xia Weiwei were stunned. What did Zhao Yiling want? Was she planning to gather and catch all of them?
“I don’t think your lady invited me, did she?” Ye Qing looked at the girl in black nervously. Obviously, he didn’t want to go.
“I don’t know!” the girl in black said casually. “My lady only said that everybody was invited. I don’t know if that includes you. If you think it doesn’t, you’re free not to come!”
The girl in black left after she finished
Ye Qing’s expression collapsed. Zhao Yiling was granddaughter to Zhao Kun, who was his father’s boss. If he were to refuse her invitation, wouldn’t it be a slap in her face? He would certainly suffer later!
So, he had to be there whether or not he was invited.
However, Ye Qing trembled the moment he thought of Zhao Yiling. He could deal with any woman in this world, but not Zhao Yiling.
This woman had beaten him up since childhood, causing him great trauma. He dared not even breathe aloud in front of her.

He begged Le Xuan to let go of her, because Zhao Yiling would definitely vent her fury on him if Le Xuan went missing after playing with her body and feelings.
“Brother Ye, is this woman really so dreadful?” Wang Hao couldn’t help but ask, as he had never seen Ye Qing so scared of anyone before.
Ye Qing smiled bitterly and said, “Brother Wang, this woman is extraordinary. She’s only 22, but she’s already a Martial King. Also, she’s Commander Zhao Kun’s precious granddaughter. Whoever messes with her must be ready to face hundreds of thousands of soldiers!”

Ye Qing explained, “She has a hobby, which is to hunt demon beasts on her own. She’s often heavily wounded, but her guards always locate her quickly and give her first aid.”
Le Xuan rubbed her forehead. She wouldn’t have agreed to take Zhao Yiling to a hotel if she had known that somebody would rescue her, and all the trouble could’ve been avoided.
“It’s getting late. You’d better be prepared!” Ye Qing looked at his watch and hurried to get changed. He dared not be late for Zhao Yiling’s party.
After Ye Qing left, Wang Hao asked, “Now, can the two of you tell me exactly what happened?”
Le Xuan sighed and told the truth.
