"They're Braveblitz, Aurora, and Nova. We can talk more about them inside- Ah."

As I introduced my new Familiars to Elizabeth, the rest of my friends arrived like a crazed army that were excited to see me.

Despite only having been 7 hours, or well, almost 8, they were acting as if I was gone for days, or even months.

"Blake you're finally back, bro!" a tall young man with black hair and a rather muscular frame with orange eyes greeted me, Chris. Suddenly, he started crying after seeing me. "I missed you man!"

"Chris?! Ah…!" I groaned as he hugged me with his huge muscular arms. "It has only been seven hours for you, and you missed me?!"

Could this be the effects of him having been revived as a Familiar?

Well, it's not too extreme as he stepped back after realizing.

"Blake! How are you feeling? Was the trial too harsh?" a young-looking blonde-haired boy with emerald eyes wearing eyeglasses greeted me, Eric, he happily patted my shoulders once he saw me, although he did so rather awkwardly.

"Eric, I'm glad to see you again too… It wasn't that hard," I said.

"Glad to see you back so soon, I bet it was easy for someone like you, hah," a tall, muscular young man with reddish skin and long black hair tied into a ponytail greeted me, among us all, he was the tallest and most muscular, his fiery red eyes were also quite recognizable. Erdrich greeted me with a bit of a pat on my back, making me almost throw up.

"Ugh! Did you had to do that…?" I sighed.

"Hahah!" Erdrich just laughed it off…

"I see you're back, good. We're going into the trials next once we reach max level too," a confident, slender and blue-haired young elf man greeted me, Elfriedden. "Don't think you'll be the only one at your Rank for too long."

"Is that the way you greet a friend?" I looked at him while raising an eyebrow. "And I hardly believe you'll be able to catch up so easily, you see… I rose two whole stars, after all."

"T-Two whole stars?!" Lastly, a cute dwarf girl with clear brown skin and fiery red hair stepped forward, Alberta, Eric's girlfriend and one of our new companions once we entered the Academy. "How did you do that, Blake?"

"Ah, I can explain you more once we start having dinner, I'm starving," I said. "And-"

"Oh wow! Who is this big guy?!" Chris asked, glaring at Braveblitz. "A huge golem?! Your new familiar or something?"

"He definitely doesn't look like any golem I've ever seen before…!" Erdrich said.

"It's so cool! Where did you find this golem, Blake?! How are his internal functions?!"

"It's amazing! It's the first time I have seen a golem of this model, he looks so expressive too! He's even looking at us awkwardly!"

Eric and Alberta were naturally the most amazed by Braveblitz, walking to his side and even beginning to touch his metallic legs.

"H-Hey! No touching!" Braveblitz felt slightly awkward was he was being overwhelmed by the two of them. "Uwah! Please don't take me apart either!"

He got scared when Alberta started trying to take apart a piece off his leg with her tools.

"Alberta… leave him be," I sighed.

"A-Ah! Sorry, sorry! I got too excited out of nowhere… It's just amazing…" Alberta said. "If we had golems like this back home, we would be able to fight back against the demon invasion so much better…"

"I'm flattered young lady, but unfortunately there can only be one of my kind!" Braveblitz said pridefully.

"He can talk so fluidly too!" Said Eric. "Does he have artificial intelligence of some sort? Wait, perhaps a soul?"

"Yes to both, technically," I nodded. "I'll explain later, let's go inside for now. Braveblitz, do you think you can fit in?"

"I can try!" He said, crouching down and entering through the large walls barely fitting inside. "Aah, it's tight around here but… I can get inside-"

CRASH!

He ended making a few of the pillars supporting the ceiling above the walls crumble down but… he got inside and that's what matters.

Perhaps he could have entered by flight though but… Oh well.

"O-Oops! My bad…! I might be a bit too overweight," he laughed. "Should I tone down the oil? Hahahaha!"

He made a joke nobody understood, it has to do with robots drinking oil as fuel but… golems don't do that here, so it wasn't understood well.

"Was that the awkward attempt at a joke?! Amazing, he's really advanced!" Said Alberta, excited either way.

"Yeah, artificial intelligence of this level hasn't been done properly yet, right?" Eric wondered.

"There's only rudimentary prototypes but nothing quite like this yet… But I remember that my family was trying to create a powerful supercomputer," explained Alberta.

"A-Awkward jokes?! It was a genuinely funny joke!" Braveblitz complained.

"Blake, can you shut down this machine? He speaks so loudly and he's annoying," Elfriedden said.

"What?! Say that to my face! You got a problem with the big Brave?!" Braveblitz walked to Elfriedden, acting like a punk out of nowhere.

"Hmph, so it can even talk back…" Elfriedden sighed, waving his head. "What an unruly machine, cannot you return it to where they made him? Perhaps he's filled with errors."

"HAH?!" Braveblitz was about to get rowdy, but I stopped him.

"Enough you two, don't fight over stupid things," I sighed. "Let's go inside. Braveblitz just be patient… You're usually not like this either."

"Well… Sorry, hahah! Perhaps I'm a bit nervous… So many new people! It's quite… overwhelming," he muttered.

He might act nice with me but he's not too nice with someone else if they're rude to me, at least I can tell that much.

Anyway, once inside the mostly empty, yet already repaired city within this fortress, my friends moved quickly, placing tables and seats outside the castle area.

At the same time, I could smell delicious dishes already being cooked. It seemed everyone was preparing some food. Erika and Elizabeth weren't the only ones cooking, Eric, Chris, and Elfriedden were all very capable of cooking, so they helped out as well.
