Chapter 227: Yu Yu would raise hell for his babies
Han Zhan nodded. "Yes, Little Bai told me not to worry about picking up the twins today. It seems as though Xiang Yu went to pick them up."
Han Xin nodded in agreement, a plan forming in his mind. He decided he would confront Xiang Yu tonight as soon as they got home.
In the adjacent office, Peng Xiu was typing furiously, her expression serious. But her attention was divided; she was eavesdropping on their conversation. Her mood had been sour lately, exacerbated by Han Xin’s increasing distance and his forbidding her from coming to his home. She was deeply unhappy, and when she discovered that Xiang Yu was staying with Han Xin, her anger boiled over, leading her to overturn her apartment in a fit of rage again. Her eyes now burned with hatred, but she kept her emotions in check, not wanting Han Xin to see this side of her.
As she listened, Peng Xiu’s mind raced. From what she overheard, Xiang Yu was up to no good. The tip of her tongue brushed past her canine as she pondered. What were the warehouses Han Xin was talking about, and what were they moving? Whatever it was, it had to be illegal.
Suddenly, a plan formed in her mind. She had finally found a way to get rid of Xiang Yu for good, and this time, she wouldn’t have to get her hands dirty. She opened her browser and typed in a website name in the search bar. What appeared was an online store homepage, but it was just a disguise. She logged in, and it took her to an encrypted website. She opened the chat window and sent a message to the captain.
Her message was clear. She needed to find Xiang Yu’s warehouses and send the police there. She was certain they would find at least guns, and Xiang Yu would be arrested. Envisioning her plan coming to fruition, she smiled happily, her fingers dancing over the keyboard as she set her scheme into motion.

Xiang Yu had spent a delightful day with Lian and Mei. They had gone to the movies, enjoyed a steaming hotpot, and indulged in a shopping spree. Their last stop was Old Song’s clinic, where they dropped off gifts, bringing a smile to the old man’s face. By the time they arrived home, the sky had darkened, and the stars were beginning to twinkle.
Xiang Yu parked the car hastily and turned to the girls. "Let’s hurry. Otherwise, you will miss it."
The twins, bursting with excitement, jumped out of the car. "Be careful," Xiang Yu cautioned as they walked briskly towards the beach along a well-lit path. He carried a blanket under his arm, which he spread out on the cool sand once they reached a good spot. They all sat down, with Xiang Yu in the middle.
"Master, where are the fireworks?" Lian asked, looking around.
"Yeah, where are the fireworks, Master? It’s just stars," Mei echoed, her eyes scanning the sky.
Xiang Yu pulled out a burner phone and waved it with a smile. "We just have to send a message and... tada, fireworks."
"Really? Can I press it? Please, please, please!" Lian begged, her eyes wide with anticipation.
Xiang Yu chuckled. "Okay, okay, just wait." He punched in a sequence of numbers and handed the phone to Lian. "Just tap the call button."
Lian tapped it eagerly, and the screen shifted to a dialling screen. Moments later, a loud explosion echoed in the distance. The blast was reflected on the ocean’s surface, forming a mushroom shape in the night sky, followed by a cascade of colourful fireworks.
Xiang Yu had meticulously planned the explosion to ensure it was within a safe radius and wouldn’t affect the surroundings. He had also chosen a time when the area was less busy to avoid any accidents. This was his way of hitting back at the Die clan for daring to mess with him. His lips curled into a devious smile as the sky lit up beautifully.
Lian and Mei were ecstatic, jumping up and down. "Master, look! Look at that one! Woah!" they exclaimed.
Xiang Yu typed in another sequence of numbers and handed the phone to Mei. "Your turn, Mei."
Mei tapped the dial button, and another explosion lit up the sky. The twins squealed with delight. Xiang Yu tapped the screen once more, and yet another explosion followed. He had just destroyed three of the Die clan’s warehouses, ruining their business in spectacular fashion. This was his messages to all wrongdoers. No one should ever mess with his twins otherwise, he would lay them to waste. He would raise hell for them.
He tossed the burner phone into the ocean and turned to the twins. "Shh, this is our little secret."
Lian and Mei nodded vigorously. They would keep this secret well.
Meanwhile, Han Xin stood on a small hill overlooking the beach, watching them. As they were driving into the property, they heard the explosions. Ran Lan had even stopped the car, frightened by the sound. They looked up at the sky and saw the fireworks.
Han Zhan exclaimed, "What in the hell? What the hell is that?"
Han Xin had a bad premonition. He had a feeling Xiang Yu was behind it. Now, seeing him sitting on the beach with the girls, he was even more certain. He turned to leave, saying to Han Zhan, who was still admiring the fireworks, "Tell Xiang Yu to come to my office after this."
Han Zhan sensed something was wrong with his cousin’s tone. He glanced at Han Xin’s retreating back and then at the three explosions in the sky, his eyes widening with realisation.
How was that possible? Was this really Xiang Yu’s doing? Looking at the beautiful sky, it kind of made sense. Just then he saw another car drive into the property. It was Little Bai who had just returned from the tattoo shop. Han Zhan draped his arm around his shoulder and said, "Little rabbit, you missed the show. It was spectacular."
Little Bai, "..."
