This connection lets them communicate through thoughts.

Later, as the cultivator cultivates, the rise in realm is shared by the cub. So if the cultivator advances to the Body Transformation realm then the cub would too.

Similarly, even if a cultivator becomes a king realm cultivator, his attainment would be shared with the Lion cub as well and it would too advance to the same realm.

The First Beast of the cultivator is always the base for his journey as they become one through a spirit Bond.

Once these cultivators reaches origin realm, they are to go into the massive forest that is over 4 million square kilometers in area and is ruled by four emperor realm spirit beasts located on the borders of the Zhuji tribe.

In this forest, you have to enslave a spirit beast of your spirit type and return.

This is also a type of test for cultivators who want to join the Zhuji tribe's Beast King Sect.

If someone is unable to return alive that means they weren't fit to become a part of the tribe.

However, if someone is able to surpass their fears and enslave the beasts, then he can enjoy wealth, fame, respect, and power.

As soon as his gaze fell on the individual in front of him, his eyes widened in surprise. He was astonished by the handsome face this man possessed and, most of all by the powerful presence that exuded out of him.

Though he appeared to be at the origin realm, his presence didn't seem ordinary.

While being cautious, Huan Tian nodded in response: "Yes, I'm here to enslave a spirit beast. W-Who are you?"

"Me? I'm from the southern prefecture of the Zhuji tribe. My name is Ashen, Wang Ashen!"

Huan Tian nodded in understanding before introducing himself: "My name is Huan Tian."

"Friend Huan Tian, how about we work together and help each other? I'll help you catch your spirit beast and you help me catch mine. What do you say?"

Huan Tian looked at Ashen with a suspicious gaze as he contemplated:

It's a good offer. If I get his help, I may finally be able to enslave that tiger.

However, I know nothing about him.

What if he is someone dangerous?

Is it even okay to trust him?

Wait a minute... Why would anyone try to harm little old me?

I don't have animosity with anyone. Moreover, I'm so pitiful that nobody would even be my friend, much less enemies.

Maybe he is genuinely asking for cooperation.

Ashen smiled before asking: "So which tiger are you planning to enslave?"

Huan Tian nodded in understanding: "Alright. I know it's den's location."

"I'll follow your lead then."

They walked for some distance before finding the tiger sleeping at the entrance of his den. Its sharp, long claws were enough to strike fear into anyone's heart.

This tiger was the size of an elephant with shiny silver fur and long fangs.

"I plan to let my Bond Beast fight with it. It has already fought it several times before and thus it knows its movements and fighting style. This time it should be able to defeat that tiger, however, if somehow my bond beast starts to lose, I'd like you to send your spirit beast for help."

"I understand." Ashen nodded in understanding.

Huan Tian then turned to his Bond Beast, the white tiger, and spoke: "Baihu, go and show him who's stronger between you two. It's time for your rematch."

The white tiger nodded before jumping forward. It roared loudly, waking up the sleeping steel claw tiger from its sleep.

The steel claw tiger smirked at Baihu as if it was mocking him.

And as if that smirk pissed Baihu off, it lunged straight toward the steel claw tiger, beginning the fight.
