Soon after leaving the research facility, Priscilla arrived at Olympus, wanting to deliver the message as swiftly as possible. She could potentially convey the message via a prayer, but she believed that a message of such import should be delivered in person, that way it could be conveyed to multiple people at once.

Thankfully, she was let into the palace without complaint, stepping into a black elevator. A moment later, an electronic voice spoke up from the speakers above her. “Where would you like to go?” The voice asked, and Priscilla noticed an absence of buttons.

Realizing that she needed to voice her destination, Priscilla nodded her head. “Please take me to the servants of the Keeper. I have important news to deliver.”

Immediately after saying this, Priscilla felt a soft, blue light envelop her body. A moment later, the door behind her opened, revealing a long, black hallway. “Second door on the right.” The electronic voice spoke up, and Priscilla nodded her head.

She turned to walk down the hall, able to faintly pick up the voices of those she sought. They seemed to be discussing something. The first voice she recognized was none other than Tsubaki’s. “Welcome back. Were you able to discover anything?”

At first, Priscilla wanted to wait until they finished their conversation. Even if this news was important, she didn’t want to disrupt other important matters. However, that changed when she heard another speaker answer. “Yes. I think I have an understanding with the Monarch of the World Tree Guild. We should be able to bypass the enemy Keeper’s detection as long as we practice a certain memetic method.”

Enemy Keeper? Priscilla thought to herself, eyes going wide. Without thinking, she pushed open the door of the room, finding all of the Keeper’s servants present, as well as two individuals that she didn’t immediately recognize.

Tsubaki’s eyes immediately turned towards the door, looking at Priscilla in surprise. “Priestess? What brings you here?”

“I was asked to come deliver some important news. The better question is what were you all talking about? An enemy Keeper?” She asked, eyes roaming over the group. She knew better than to think that this lot would ever betray the Keeper, which could only mean one thing. “You are all preparing to attack another Keeper?”

The women within the room glanced at one another, before Dana spoke up with a sigh. “She’s the Keeper’s priestess. If anyone is able to be trusted, it’s her.”

With that said, Tsubaki turned to face Priscilla, nodding her head. “That’s right. Our most recent turmoil that caused the loss of Kione was the result of a direct attack from another Keeper. Worse, it appears that they are continuing to target us. In order to avoid a repeat of the previous disaster, we are going to take advantage of the next assault window to launch an attack of our own.”

Priscilla pursed her lips, piecing the information together in the back of her mind. Judging by what she overheard on her way in, there were a few things that she could say for certain. “You have a source of information on the inside, and are planning a surprise attack. You want to keep your party as small as possible to avoid detection, and aim for a clean assassination of the enemy Keeper. Correct?”

“That about sums it up.” Lena confirmed with a small shrug. “We don’t want to spread word about it because most of us will be gone during the attack. It’ll be the prime opportunity for anyone wanting to stir up chaos on this side. We’ll be counting on people like you to prevent that.”

“I’m going with you.” Priscilla said in a firm tone, completely surprising those in the room. “I am the Priestess of the Keeper, and the general of his army. If I go, you will have a powerful, versatile force at your disposal. My forces are able to be regenerated at will, so I can use them as distractions in the worst case scenario.”

Her authoritative tone was somewhat surprising, though the girls present couldn’t really find a reason to refuse her. If anything, having her available would be a substantial benefit. However, there was just one problem. “Are you even able to take your army with you?” Dana questioned sincerely. “The direct power of another Keeper won’t be able to pass through to this world. And while the Holy Knights were granted to you, they are still a manifestation of the Keeper’s divinity.”

Priscilla pursed her lips at that, thinking for only a moment before answering. “Then, I will simply have to turn them into my own power. Or create a similar force that does not directly rely on the Keeper’s divinity. If a Goddess will not suffice, then there is the Origin that I have heard discussed. How much time do we have to prepare?”

Seeing how adamant she was about this, Lena gave a small smirk. “The date isn’t exactly set. We’ve been given the time we need to prepare, though.”

“That will make this easy, then.” Priscilla said with another nod. “I’ll ascend to godhood immediately, and then work on the procedures necessary to become an Origin, so long as one of you inform me of what those procedures are.”

Dana let out a long sigh, shaking her head. “I’m not even sure how you know that word. Information must have leaked out somewhere, but at least it wasn’t too detailed. Anyways, there aren’t many preparations you need to make for it. Once you are a Goddess who has mastered a Saint Energy, the process is fairly smooth.”

“However, if you want to be more than a basic cannon fodder of an Origin, you will need to know how to control a universe through void manipulations. We’ve got a file for that, so it should be fine once you’ve read through it.” As she said that, she pulled out her terminal, flicking her finger to send a large text file to Priscilla’s.

Still determined, Priscilla opened the file, her eyes glowing golden. She activated the Information, Understanding, and Education domain powers that she had cultivated through the Keeper’s blessing, allowing her to immediately download the information directly into her mind, and provide a full, comprehensive understanding. “Done.” She responded, looking at the group again.

“Okay, that’s cheating!” Lifre shouted, waving her fist, and then looking at Lena. “Why don’t you do things like that?!”

Lena simply chuckled. “I do, when I’m in a hurry. It’s just more fun to read manually.”

With a shake of her head, Dana looked at Priscilla again. “Alright. How long do you need to ascend? You should know the best methods to do so by now. And, you should be thinking about what domain you want as an Origin, since we’ll need to prepare things ahead of time for you.”

After saying that, Dana briefly explained how the powers of an Origin differed from those of a god, as knowing so would allow Priscilla to make a more educated decision. Priscilla closed her eyes, thinking. Her reasoning for joining this operation was to present the Keeper’s army as a portable fighting force. Thus, any domain that she chose needed to align with that goal.

At the same time, she needed to consider how to use her power in the future, after their return. “I wish to be the Origin of Names.” She said, opening her eyes once she made that decision.

Lena looked over in surprise, her eyes widening slightly. “If I may ask, why names?”

“According to the explanation Dana gave, an Origin must create powers based on their domain within their inner world, and then manifest that power in the real world. My purpose in joining you is to bring the unrivalled versatility of the Keeper’s Holy Knights. If I were the Origin of Names, I could establish a region within my inner world where certain names can bestow corresponding divine power and identities to either individuals or inanimate objects.”

“From there, I can create the Holy Knights by using this phenomenon to bestow the appropriate name onto an object, thus summoning them into reality. Furthermore, I can create laws that allow me to weaken, strengthen, or subdue others by knowing their name. I can make a law that allows me to change someone’s essence by bestowing them with a new name, or observe them from a distance. With the power of names, I have complete control over identity.”

Lena blinked at that, a wide smile slowly starting to spread over her face. “I like you. I like you a lot.” She said, before looking back at the others. “Okay, she has my vote.”

Dana stood there in stunned silence, surprised at how quickly Priscilla had come up with that. However, she found herself imagining the various uses for such a domain, nodding her head without thinking. “Yeah, that could work. I’ll need to speak with Chelsea to get everything set up, though.”

After saying that, Dana remembered another important question. “Wait, what did you come here for, again? You said that you had important news.”

Priscilla nodded her head in confirmation. “That’s right. Desbar has encountered a threshold in the total energy that it can produce, causing mana generators to begin failing. According to the Another World Research Group, other universes may be experiencing similar problems in the future, based on their total energy consumption, with larger universes having more to spare.”

Dana’s eyes widened when she heard that, and a thought immediately crossed her mind. “Oh no, the Metong are definitely going to be next, if they haven’t already started experiencing symptoms.”

“Would they not have reported these symptoms?” Priscilla questioned, but Dana shook her head.

“Not necessarily, if it came in ways they wouldn’t notice. For instance, if there was a ki limit, then perhaps the birth rate decreased, and widespread famines struck. However, the Metong have a galactic empire. Couple that with their energy cultivation database, and they are producing energy several orders of magnitude above what Desbar is doing.”

“How would we go about fixing something like that?” The golden Sylvan in the room asked, and Priscilla would recognize her as the one that Tsubaki had initially been speaking to when she arrived.

Dana bit her lip gently, thinking about it. “The only ways are to either increase the energy limit of the universe, increase its energy recovery speed, or create more worlds for people to populate and spread out.”

“The last option is the easiest, but it doesn’t really solve anything, and it forces people to migrate against their wills. The other two, while more acceptable, are also far more challenging, as they involve meddling with world laws.”

“Can we use a secondary node?” Priscilla asked, surprising Dana. “There was a chapter about those in the file that you gave me. If a secondary node was created that could gather and store excess energy within a secret realm, akin to your old energy stones, there would theoretically be no limit to what it could store.”

This time, it was Tsubaki who spoke up, shaking her head. “If we use that method, there will be numerous problems. Those marbles were disposed of because of how fragile they were in the void, due to their excessive drawing of energy. If we were to make a node like that, it would weaken, or perhaps even destroy the universe it was attached to. Additionally, it would create a suction force within the void that would allow void monsters to push through our defenses.”

“That said…” Dana said, lowering her head in thought. “It’s not a bad idea to start with. Not doing it directly like that, but at least use it as a springboard for the final solution.”
