“Calling someone… anyone…”

I had been trying to communicate with someone from Valiant for several hours now. We had officially left Zoskar and were now in international waters. We were using every phone and radio at our disposal to try to contact people and let them know what was happening. Most of the places we contacted answered immediately. Convincing them that this was a demonic invasion was something else.

There were only two places that we struggled to contact. The first was Amaryllis, which seemed to have become a communication dead zone. The second was Valiant. After the island launched into the air, all forms of communication were cut off. This world didn’t have satellites like my old world, so the ways to contact were limited to landlines. We had to use magically linked phones just to be able to contact people from the airship, but such a thing would have had no reason to be set up on Valiant. Thus, we were trying to use radio and magical communication, but our efforts were in vain.

Matahari was one of the few places that had answered quickly and responded immediately. Although most men suddenly went crazy, the princes all maintained their minds. The demons immediately tried to attack the princes, but Queen Talitha acted quickly and decisively. She managed to block out the demons, and the Matahari immediately went to work sieving them all. Things were put under control quickly there, but the same could not be said about many other places. At that point, news reports started flooding in about worldwide unrest.

“The infection amongst men seems to be nearly total, although there are some exceptions. The opposite also appears to be true. Most women seem to be fine, although there are a few women who have shown similar reactions,” a news reporter announced. News from multiple countries were streaming continuously to our screens at the front of the room.

Men everywhere seemed to have grown insane and began to capture, kill, or suppress women. Those who had positions of power immediately took control of the entire area and then began to invade others. Those who were being treated like cattle broke free of their restraints and then overthrew their captors. It was an attack on a global scale, and no one was remotely prepared for it. Worst of all, we could only watch as countries were thrown into chaos. Men who were once seen as celebrities suddenly turned into enemies hellbent on spreading as much chaos and destruction as they could.

“The infection seems to cause increased strength, higher stamina, powerful regeneration, and extreme aggression. If you encounter any woman acting strange, keep your distance. If you encounter a man, escape the area immediately and contact an authority to give any information. In other news, the country of Zoskar seemed to be mobilizing its forces. Little is known about this isolated country. Whether they intend to join in the worldwide humanitarian effort is yet to be seen.”

“No… Mistress… I’m telling you, Zoskar is planning to attack. No! All men are affected unless they have the Borndholdt bloodline. Do not overlook them. Not only will they have help from the inside, but their strength is incredible. Once they seize your technology, they won’t hesitate to adapt… Don’t hang up… Damn it!” Kemala slammed down the phone.

I couldn’t help but glance at her. “Not going well?”

“The countries bordering Zoskar don’t believe they’d dare invade. They think we’re joking.” She made a face. “Stupid bitches…”

“It’s okay… they’ll find out soon enough.” I reached out and touched her shoulder.

Someone else slammed their hands down on the table. “What do we do now, Boss?”

“Brianna.”

“We unleashed this. This is our fault,” Brianna cried out. “So, what are we going to do about it?”

“Brianna, that isn’t fair. We’re already doing something…” Kemala spoke calmly.

“Something?” Brianna’s face shook. “Making phone calls? Flying around aimlessly!”

“We have an aim. We’re going to Amaryllis,” Rebecca spoke up.

“Oh, yeah? And what the fuck will we do there?” Brianna snapped.

“Brianna!” Kemala chastised.

“These are your fucking people. You’re the fucking demon. How do you stop them? What’s your big plan.” Brianna looked around angrily before her eyes landed on Lilith. “And what about you? What’s your plan? Come on! Haven’t you been planning all this for generations? You can’t tell me somewhere in that legacy of yours you never planned for what to do if you lost! Tell me!”

Lilith didn’t say anything. She had her head lowered, a look of defeat in her eyes. Mia was glaring at her hatefully like she was about to say her piece.

“Brianna, that’s enough,” I responded, my voice cold.

“Boss…” She looked at me, tears springing up in her eyes.

“Get some rest. You don’t need to protect me here.”

She clenched her teeth, and then with a noise she spun and left the room, slamming the door behind her.

“We’re already doing our best,” Raven spoke, her voice filled with annoyance.

“She just lost…. A friend.” I responded, “She just needs some time.”

“We don’t have the time.” Rebecca made a face. “We’ll be in Amaryllis in a little less than a day. She’s not wrong. Do we even have a plan?”

“Hello? Hello? Is anyone hearing this?” A voice suddenly came out of the magical device in front of me.

My eyes flashed as I grabbed the receiver. “It’s me! Mom? Mom, is that you?”

“C-clyburn? Oh, thank you, you're alive. Are you safe?”

“I’m safe. Mom, are you guys safe?” I asked, noticing everyone else had stopped making calls and were leaning close to listen.

“We’re okay… for now.” She responded, her voice sounding somewhat strained and quiet. “We’re hiding in the tunnels underneath the city. I’m glad we had them sealed up… except for one or two escape entrances, of course.”

“What’s going on?”

“The men… they all just suddenly went crazy. They started attacking people, and once they had weapons they started capturing women and enslaving them. It’s like… they’re no longer themselves.”

“The kids?” I asked.

“Ah, all the boys in our family are fine. They protected the women and managed to help their sisters all escape down below. If it wasn’t for them and our security, we wouldn’t have been able to get into hiding. They’re the only men who haven’t gone strange though. Is this what you’ve been warning us about all of these years.”

I paused for a moment, “Yes… it’s exactly what I feared most.”

“Did… you fai- no, my baby doesn’t fail.”

“Mom…”

“You’ll fix this.” She spoke with renewed confidence.

“Mom…” I looked down. “Some things can’t be fixed…”

“Nonsense! You’re my baby, my precious son. You can do anything you put your mind to. So, you do what you do, and you save us. I believe in you. Your family believes…”

My body shook, and I felt my eyes water. “I’m not a hero.”

“Nobody is everyone’s hero… but you’ll always be my hero.”

“And if you find out who’s responsible for this, you find them… and… and…. Fuck them!”

“Mom!” I couldn’t help but blush since Lexy and Raven were listening.

“And then you come home, and you make mommy pregnant! I’m not too old to have another baby…”

“Mom…” I could feel the other girls giving me rueful looks.

There was a commotion over the communicator which sounded like metal banging. “Shit! They found out we’re down here.”

“Mom?”

“Collapse the tunnels! We need to go deeper.”

“Mom! You need to take out the levitation. I don’t know how they’re making the island fly, but we need to ground it.”

“Run!” There was the sound of gunfire and screaming.

“Mom! Mom!” However, the line had already gone dead.

“Cly-!” Kemala reached for me.

This time, I grabbed the communication and chucked it at the wall. “Damn it! Fuck!”

All of the girls were watching me now. The only other sound was coming from the screen.

“Zoskar has officially begun an invasion of nearby counties. They appear to move in much the same way as the men. Is this power they’re showing the same thing that happened to the men? Is Zoskar doing this as a way of holding all men hostage from the world? If this is the case, we haven’t seen an event like this since the evil queen locked up the hero back during the mythic age. Perhaps, this is the beginning of a new history, and the end to the age of women.”

“Use me,” a quiet voice spoke across the room, causing everyone to turn to Lilith.

“What?”

“She didn’t just transmit her voice to you. I heard it too.” Lilith spoke. “The Demon King… she wants me. She made the same offer to you, didn’t she? He said that if you gave me to her, she’d leave you and your family alone, right?”

“If she wants you, then that is every reason that we must make sure that she never gets you,” Mia spoke up.

“I don’t matter,” Lilith responded. “My life is a joke. My entire life was just in service to the Demon King. I deserved the name Demon Queen.”

“We don’t know why she wants you, but if she gets you, it’ll be bad.” Mia looked at Lilith pleadingly.

“Does it matter?” Ash asked. “If we get her to sign a Lilith contract, then it’d all work out, right?”

“What does that mean?” Mia glared at her.

“If she leaves our family alone, what does it matter what she does?” Ash asked.

“He’s going to conquer the world! He’s going to enslave women and use them as breeding fodder!” Mia cried out.

“How is that any different than how we’ve spent the last few thousand years?”

“Don’t give me some pseudointellectual debate about whether women deserve punishment for the matriarchy!” Mia stood up. “These are demons! This world may have problems, but it shouldn’t be destroyed.”

“You don’t understand.” Ash shook her head irritably. “Clyburn and his children are demon-free. If left us alone, then his seed continues to spread, and the demons will lose… eventually.”

“Eventually?” Raven asked. “How long is it eventually? How many humans will have to die over what, hundreds, thousands of years?”

“Besides,” Kemala cut in. “You don’t think they’d account for that?”

“It is possible that the Demon King doesn’t know about his ability.” Rebecca supported Ash. “Honestly, if he knew what Clyburn could do, he never would have let him leave. Clyburn’s unique trait… can completely undo his world.”

“We don’t know that for certain.” Mia shook her head. “And even if we did, you’re talking about generations, thousands of years of servitude to demons.”

“According to our history, that’s how we started.” Ash shrugged. “We’d simply be starting over again. In a few thousand years humanity will be able to overthrow the demons. Is that so bad? Plus, none of us will be affected too much. We can live out the rest of our days in peace. I’m not saying it’s a great plan, but we don’t have another choice, right? We’ve already lost. Isn’t it better to plant seeds for a better tomorrow? When my brother died, they transplanted his organs to keep me alive. Well, this is the same. We’re using our loss to our advantage.”

“So, we’re just giving up?” Raven asked.

“You also seem to be forgetting that this entire plan hedges on abandoning Lilith!” Mia shouted.

“I’m fine with it,” Lilith declared.

“No, you’re not.” Mia glared back at her, but when Lilith gave her a deadpanned look back, she broke eye contact, a look of shame on her face.

“My life… should have some purpose. She wants me, so as long as that’s true, then that makes me bait.”

“Bait? For what?” Kemala asked.

“How often can bait decide why it’s used.” Lilith sighed before glancing over at me. “That’s for him to decide.”

Everyone ended up looking my way. I had been listening to the group argue, my brain deep in thought. Of course, I was worried about my family too. There was some merit in what she said. I had been brought to this world to spread my seed. That was my purpose. None of this had anything to do with me. It was Lilith’s mission, and while I participated, it wouldn’t be fair to say it was all my fault. Such a thing was an inevitability. Someone would have claimed that legacy regardless of my presence.

As long as I protected my family, I did my duty as a lover and as a father. Would anyone fault me for stepping back? Well, I’m sure there were those with hero complexes who expected more, but I never saw myself as some protagonist. However, that said, it felt uncomfortable leaving things like that. I had spent nearly as much time in this world as my old one. Didn’t I owe it to them to at least try? Well, everyone was waiting for my answer.

“Bait isn’t necessarily a bad idea.”

“You want to give Lilith up?” Mia looked a bit hurt.

“No, I want to get close to the Demon King,” I responded. “We can use her to get a presence with Jenji.”

“What will that do?” Mia demanded.

“I’ve been able to exorcise demons before.” I looked up at Mia. “Why not the Demon King?”

“Um… Clyburn, the way you exorcised the demons in us was…” Ash’s eyes widened. “Oh…”

“What?” Raven looked at the other ladies. “What is he suggesting?”

“You… you can’t be serious.” Kemala looked at me in disbelief.

“Why not? My body can expunge demons in females. Jenji is a female.”

“Jenji is some demigod thing…” Ash spoke up. “Who has merged with the Demon King! You’re talking about fucking a god.”

“Ah, dad wants to…” Raven finally understood, her pale skin turning bright red. “Isn’t she a loli?”

“I know you’re pretty good in the bedroom… but isn’t this a bit ridiculous?” Mia asked, not able to hide a slightly amused smirk on her face.

“I’m not talking about sex,” I protested. “Just using my seed. You know the ability of my seed and how it affects demons. I can just fill up a turkey baster. I shove it in there and squirt. No touch. Can you honestly tell me, would it work?” I demanded.

Rebecca and Ash looked at each other, and then Rebecca sighed. “If you could… deposit inside, it’s possible.”

“This is ridiculous… I can’t believe I’m even in this room.” Kemala rubbed her head. “How do you plan to… ahem… deposit it.”

“I’ll store up a couple in a turkey baster. We use Lilith as bait to meet her. When she’s distracted, we launch a bunch of restrictive spells, bend her over, squirt, and ding dong, the bitch is dead. Does it need to be any more complicated than that?”

The girls were all looking at me with disbelief.

“Look, we keep saying she’s the Demon King, but do any of you even know what that means? It seems to me that we’re all afraid of her based on reputation. She’s likely still restricted in some ways.” I snapped my fingers. “I bet she needs Lilith to free the rest of her powers! So, while she’s… busy. We just drop a bomb, distract her, and then finish her off with a creampie.”

“We must be desperate because this is starting to sound like a good idea,” Ash admitted.

“See?” I pointed in her direction and then lifted my hands, looking at everyone else. “Come on. We’ve got the bait. We just need to deliver the payload.”

“It is his specialty.” Kemala sighed, a defeated look on her face.

“Fine, we’ll begin Operation Creampie,” Ash declared.

“We’re not calling it that!” Rebecca interrupted.

The group of us continued to chat for quite a while longer hammering out the plan. We talked about what spells we should make ahead of time and who should cast what. There was quite a lot of planning for what started as a really stupid idea. However, it was the only idea anyone could come up with that might work. The mood started to lift as everyone gave their opinions. Lexy, who had remained mostly quiet, had a lot to say about the storage methods and distribution of my sperm.

“Honey, why do I feel you’ve thought a lot about smuggling my cum and secretly depositing it into someone’s womb?”

“Daddy is imagining things.” Lexy quickly denied everything.

At the least, there was some hope where there had been none. The only one who remained quiet during the meeting was Lilith, who kept her head down. Mia did most of the talking on her behalf. When we finally finished, there was less than half a day until we reached Amaryllis.

“Go to your rooms and get some rest. This may be our last chance. Tomorrow is going to be the most important day of our entire lives. We can’t afford to mess it up, so rest well.”

I ended the meeting with that. I wasn’t one for speeches.

“Just call me when you need me.” Lilith got up and left.

Mia stood up, reaching out for Lilith, but ultimately allowed her to leave. “She still has a lot to think about.”

“Now, there is one last dilemma,” Kemala spoke up. “That is, of course, the payload.”

“Huh?” I blinked.

“Come now… the more seed the better. If we want to increase chances, it might even be better to have several payloads in case one is destroyed. You have less than twelve hours.” Kemala licked her lips. “We’ll have to pull as many loads out of you as possible.

That’s when I noticed Kemala, Mia, Ash, and Rebecca had all stayed behind. It looked like they had all been concerned about this detail and were waiting until they could get me alone.

“I-I can take care of it myself!” I protested.

“As you said, this be our last night. We can’t leave anything to chance,” Mia affirmed.

I realized the true reason Mia let Lilith leave. It turns out Lilith wasn’t the only bait for a hungry fish.

“Get him!” Kemala threw out her finger.
