Chapter 267 The Money Hero Is Hiding In Goghdor City?

With the loss of the Dwarf King, the dwarf royal guards who were watching their king get beaten up felt aggrieved and wanted to step into the battle to fight against Alister.

They wanted to protect their king but when they planned to intervene, Alister glared at them. Alister's magic and aura pressure locked towards the dwarf royal guards, forcing them to kneel while the weaker ones had already passed out. 𝘧𝑟𝑒𝑒𝑤𝑒𝑏𝓃ℴ𝘷𝑒𝓁.𝒸ℴ𝘮

"Dwarf King, you better be smart and abide by our agreement. Otherwise, I will use you to destroy the dwarf race you protect."

Alister had already thought of the possibility of the Dwarf King renegading their agreement and acting as his slave. Of course, he couldn't care less about the Dwarf King and the Dwarf King being his slave was of little to no value to him.

What he valued were the Dwarf Grand Blacksmiths as he wanted to obtain their blacksmithing techniques.

The dwarves might not be the strongest among the major races, but they were the strongest when it came to blacksmithing.

On the other hand, the Grand Enchanters were either in the dragon race, elf race, or spirit race. Even there were Grand Enchanters in human history and rarely Grand Blacksmiths.

If Alister wanted to have a powerful grand-level powerhouse as his slave, he could have domesticated that smart bear from the core area of the Mystic Forest. That bear was stronger than the Dwarf King since it was the Monster King.

When Alister threatened the Dwarf King, the Dwarf King who was acting dead inside the crater felt fear and despair.

"Tree Branch Swing Up…But With Aura!"

Holding the tree branch in his right hand, Alister imbued aura in it and swung it up. It was directed towards the huge crater and when his aura entered the huge crater, it erupted and brought the Dwarf King into mid-air.

With a thud, the Dwarf King landed on the ground face first. Whether it was intentional or not, only Alister knew.

The Dwarf King looked pitiful as the metal armor he previously wore was destroyed by Alister's tree branch. With the long and thick brown mustache and beard of the Dwarf King as well as his face covered in dust, the Dwarf King looked like a knight who had become homeless.

Since Alister didn't disable the Dwarf King or seriously injure him, the Dwarf King managed to get up. Knowing that he couldn't go back on his words, the Dwarf King gritted his teeth and promised, "Don't worry, I won't go back on my words. If those stubborn Dwarf Grand Blacksmiths dared not to listen to my decree, I will execute and defame them as traitors!"

The Dwarf King had long been dissatisfied with the arrogance of the Grand Blacksmiths in his race. Although he turned a blind eye to them since they had the capabilities to be arrogant, the Dwarf King wouldn't be polite anymore if they dared not listen to his order.

After all, his freedom and life were on the line!

Ultimately, it was indeed his fault for even gambling with Alister which affected those Grand Blacksmiths. However, to maintain his majesty, the Dwarf King wouldn't admit that it was his fault and he would pin the blame on those Grand Blacksmiths.

If they dared not know what's good for them and they didn't hand over their blacksmithing techniques, the Dwarf King already planned to execute one of them and show them who was the one wearing the damn crown!

Knowing the intentions of the Dwarf King via reading his mind, Alister nodded in appreciation. "As long as you don't go back on your words, I won't make any trouble in your race's territory."

"I can even help you deal with the Money Hero who hid in Goghdor City and is plotting to take your life."

Hearing Alister's first sentence, the Dwarf King breathed a sigh of relief. But when he heard the second sentence, the Dwarf King felt that his ears had gone deaf and he misheard Alister's words.

But when he saw Alister's serious face that didn't seem to be joking, the Dwarf King exclaimed, "Wait, fuck! How come that treacherous human hero hid in my Goghdor City? I fucking paid for the salary of those city guards yet they can't even detect the entrance of that damn human hero!"

"Wait, rather than blame the guards whose weaker than the heroes, I should just fucking blame the human race! Those monkeys can't even put a leash on the shittards they summoned!"

"Not only I had to order the Grand Blacksmiths to create hero-slaying artifacts to clean up the messes of those hairless monkeys, my race even have to suffer from the plotting of that damn hero!"

"Arghh!!! I just want my race to be neutral and let those monkeys play in the circus with those dastardly demons. Why the fuck would they keep on implicating the other races?!"

Having already experienced the previous generation of heroes as well as read the experiences of the previous Dwarf Kings, this generation of Dwarf Kings hated those heroes so much that he kept on ranting as soon as he heard the involvement of those heroes in his territory.

In response to the Dwarf King's rants, Alister reminded, "Your voice is too loud. The Money Hero had already heard it and might flee from here. After all, even that ant can't defeat someone who can defeat you with just a mere tree branch."

When he was reminded of the tree branch, the Dwarf King shuddered in fear but he quickly snapped back to reality.

The Dwarf King knew that his chances of defeating the Money Hero were very low due to the annoying hero authority of the Money Hero. If it was the combatant heroes such as the Sword Hero and Spear Hero, the Dwarf King was confident that he could defeat them using the hero-slaying war axe.

Among the nine heroes, the Money Hero was the hero he feared the most.

Without any hesitation, the Dwarf King bargained, "As long as you can help me deal with the Money Hero, I will owe you a favor and I will also give you half of the hero-slaying artifacts in the treasury!"
