{Chapter: 219 Global Panic}

The morning sun filtered through the luxurious floor-to-ceiling windows of the presidential suite, casting golden light onto the rumpled bed sheets and soft curves of bare skin. Ada and Alice lay sprawled on the king-sized bed, completely unclothed, their bodies entangled in the aftermath of a night that had clearly pushed them to their limits. Faint flushes lingered on their cheeks, and their breathing was slow, steady—deep in recovery sleep.

William was lying lazily beside them, shirtless, one arm draped casually over Ada's chest, his hand resting there like it had claimed ownership. A faint smirk tugged at the corner of his lips. The memory of the intense, wild, three-person battle from the night before still lingered vividly in his mind. The night had been long, filled with laughter, gasps, and sweat. He had enjoyed every second of it.

"Mmm... stop it already," Ada murmured sleepily, her voice thick with exhaustion as she instinctively slapped his hand away. "I'm seriously tired. Just... five more minutes."

At that moment, the door to the suite clicked open. White Queen stepped inside, looking as composed and radiant as ever in her sleek, white dress. Her eyes swept over the trio tangled in bed, her expression neutral, though a flicker of something unspoken danced in her gaze.

"How long are you all planning to sleep in?" she asked coolly. "It's already past ten in the morning."

William turned his head toward her, still smiling with shameless satisfaction. "White Queen, aren't you looking a little too closely? See anything you like?"

White Queen rolled her eyes and raised her chin slightly. "Don't flatter yourself. From my point of view, you're nothing more than a research specimen with questionable habits."

Despite her cold words, there was a subtle tension in her voice. Perhaps jealousy? Or irritation? It was hard to tell.

Alice stirred at the sound of voices and opened her eyes, blinking blearily. "What time is it?"

"Ten o'clock sharp," White Queen replied, her arms crossed over her chest.

Alice's eyes widened slightly. "Ten...? Already?" She attempted to sit up, but the soreness in her muscles reminded her of the wild night they'd shared. Her entire body felt like it had been run over by several speeding trucks—bruised, tender, yet oddly satisfied.

Looking to her side, she caught William's smug grin and Ada still passed out. A deep flush colored Alice's cheeks as last night's passionate chaos replayed vividly in her memory. She hastily brought her hands to her chest, covering herself in embarrassment.

"Don't look!" she cried out.

"Why not? Not only can I look, but I can also touch," William said mischievously as he pulled her into his arms.

His boldness roused Ada, who groaned and rubbed her eyes. "It's only been a few hours... can't I just sleep?"

White Queen snorted. "Sleep? You were screaming so loudly last night that the walls practically trembled. I should've worn earplugs."

Ada's face turned beet red at the accusation. She grabbed the blanket and wrapped herself in it tightly. "I-I didn't scream that loudly..."

"What do you think?" White Queen said sarcastically, narrowing her eyes.

Ada glared at William. "This is all your fault, you beast."

William chuckled and shrugged. "You should be proud. Not every woman gets to experience a man who knows how to do things properly." He emphasized the word 'do' with a teasing grin.

"Shameless!" both girls snapped at him in unison.

William sat up and stretched. "Alright, enough teasing. I'm guessing the news cycle is going crazy right now. Let's turn on the TV and see how badly I've scared the world."

White Queen pointed the remote at the TV, and the screen flickered on. The channel was already on a global news station—CBS News, broadcasting live.

The female anchor appeared visibly animated, her tone urgent. "Breaking news from last night's incident at the Stark Industrial Expo. After extensive investigation, officials have confirmed that the attacker is none other than William, the infamous figure from World War II—the warmonger, mass murderer, and the man considered a public enemy of humanity. He has returned."

The screen cut to grainy historical photos of William in a Nazi-like uniform, followed by clips of the Stark Expo explosion.

"The President of the United States has reached out to global allies, including Japan, to form a unified response to this shocking revelation. International emergency meetings are underway."

Another clip showed massive protests in Tokyo. Banners read in Japanese: "Punish the Devil!" and "Never Again!" The camera panned to crowds chanting William's name with fury.

"The Prime Minister of Japan has issued a formal warrant for William's arrest, calling for a global manhunt. Across Europe, the EU has held emergency sessions to discuss countermeasures. Plans are already in motion to form a multinational strike team tasked with locating and apprehending William."

The anchor's voice dropped to a grim tone. "William, who vanished mysteriously at the end of World War II without a trace, has returned to the spotlight with the same unaging appearance. His existence raises terrifying questions. Has he mastered some form of immortality? What dark conspiracy has he been plotting all these years? The world demands answers."

William chuckled and leaned back on the bed, hands behind his head. "Well... looks like I made headlines again."

Alice and Ada looked at each other, expressions mixed with worry, disbelief, and a reluctant admiration for the man they were entangled with.

White Queen crossed her arms and frowned at the screen. "You're officially the most wanted man on the planet. Happy now?"

"Not yet," William said, his smile widening. "But we're just getting started."

As William spoke, the group turned their attention back to the television.

The anchor's voice was solemn, and the screen flashed between protest scenes, press conferences, and burning effigies of William. freewebnσvel.cѳm

"What kind of crisis will this man's sudden reappearance bring to humanity? That remains to be seen. But one thing is certain—his presence strikes a fear not felt since the darkest days of World War II. In those times, even Tony Stark, now a celebrated hero, was like a child compared to him—unable to mount any meaningful resistance. It is the hope of all nations that William is captured swiftly and brought to justice."

"If you have any knowledge of his whereabouts, please contact local authorities immediately. The United States has issued an international wanted alert. A reward of 10 million US dollars will be given for verifiable information leading to his location, and an unprecedented 1 billion US dollars will be awarded for his live capture. Citizens everywhere are urged to stay vigilant and cooperate for the sake of global peace."

The broadcast switched to images of emergency meetings between NATO, the Japanese government, and other world leaders. William's face was plastered across every screen—his expression cold, calculating, unrepentant.

Ada sighed, rubbing her temples. "I didn't think your reappearance would cause such a worldwide uproar. People are losing their minds out there."

William shrugged with a smirk. "What can I say? When you're this extraordinary, the whole world watches. The bigger the legend, the bigger the panic."

"You call that awesome?" Ada raised a brow. "Well then, Mr. Awesome, what exactly is your next step? The entire world is on the hunt for you. You're not seriously planning on just strolling around in broad daylight?"

"You underestimate the power of a good disguise," William said lightly. "Put on a hat, some sunglasses—boom. Unrecognizable. Classic move."

White Queen scoffed, arms crossed. "Yes, because that worked so well for every other fugitive in history."

"If they do recognize me..." William's tone darkened. "...then it's just a matter of how many body bags we'll need to clean up the mess."

"Killing people comes to you as naturally as breathing, doesn't it?" White Queen muttered under her breath.

Alice frowned. "Is there anyone more dangerous than you walking around right now?"

William thought for a moment, scratching his chin. "Plenty of scum in the world, but if we're talking about someone specific—there was that villain in Iron Man 2. What was his name again? Some vengeful genius who wanted to bring down the Stark legacy. He got vaporized in the end. Goes to show—evil might thrive for a while, but in most stories, villains die in the end."

He grinned smugly. "Unless, of course, you're me."

"Are you planning to join forces with one of those villains you admire so much?" Ada asked.

William dismissed the idea with a wave. "Who knows? I'll deal with things as they come. Plans change. People die."

"And what's your grand plan now?" White Queen asked, her eyes narrowing.

William's smile twisted into something more sinister. "Since we're playing the long game... let's start by destroying the man piece by piece. No better way to crush Tony Stark than to target those closest to him. Make him watch as everything he cherishes crumbles."

Ada rolled her eyes. "Let me guess, it's a woman again. Are you planning to seduce her? Kidnap her? Or go with your usual r@p¡ng tactics?"

William laughed awkwardly. "You're hurting my feelings. Honestly, I feel a bit exposed here. But no—this time, I swear, I'll be convincing... diplomatic, even."

"You actually expect us to believe that?" Alice crossed her arms.

"Believe it or not, we're headed to California. More specifically—Melbu Beach. That's where Tony Stark lives. Let the game begin."

Without further delay, the group prepared to leave. The sun was high when they checked out of the Peninsula Hotel. William walked at the front, flanked by his companions.

As they crossed the luxurious marble-floored lobby, a young hotel employee called after them. "Sir, excuse me—you haven't turned in your room card yet."

He caught sight of William's face and froze mid-step. His expression morphed from polite concern to horror.

"You... you look just like..."

William offered him a charming smile. "Like William, right?"

The employee's eyes widened in disbelief. He stumbled back, shouting frantically, "That's him! That's William! Call the police, someone call the police now!"

A ripple of chaos spread like wildfire through the lobby.

Guests screamed. A woman dropped her purse, heels clattering as she fled. Staff ran for the exits. One man even dove behind a potted plant.

William shook his head, lifting one hand lazily as a ball of flame began to gather in his palm. "Such a shame. This place had good service. I was even planning to leave a hefty chunk of tip. But now it'll be headline news—again. At least the journalists are going to have a field day."

Flames roared around his fingers, casting a flickering glow on his smiling face as chaos unfolded.
