Just as An Tian left, Noah followed him as well.

Jiang Yang turned to the two brothers, "You two continued."

"I'll go and have a nice bath and then I will eat a lot," Lu Lian said.

"Are you yet to have a bath?" Lu Feng looked at her.

"Well, I was in a hurry to see you. I will come quickly," she said and dashed out of the kitchen as Jiang Yang followed her out, leaving the two brothers to finish their work.

Soon the two finished and stepped out of the kitchen as they left the rest work to Martha and Jerome of arranging the breakfast table.

Everyone was present in the drawing room except for the birthday girl. Ming Rusheng stepped out of his room and came across Lu Feng and Lu Lijun in the Drawing room. He looked ready and fresh.

"Were you having a Jacuzzi bath to take this much time?" Lu Feng said as they walked towards the sofa where others were sitting.

Ming Rusheng nodded, "Yeah, was rubbing off your sister's scent out of me so you two won't feel like killing me."

"Someone is being air headed just because we gave some slack last night," Lu Lijun commented while Ming Rusheng didn't mind it.

He wished to let these brothers have their time with their sister. Soon he would be taking her away from them.

Lu Lian came downstairs, wearing a dress that was one of the gifts from her brothers along with matching sandals and all the accessories. She looked so pretty that everyone looked at the birthday girl, especially Ming Rusheng who wished to go to her and take her in his embrace.

Just as this thought occurred to him but Lu Feng poured cold water on it, "Don't even think about it."

Ming Rusheng stayed at his place and let the two brothers go to her.

"I always knew my sister was prettiest," Lu Feng said.

"True," Lu Lijun added.

Though Lu Lian was happy hearing it, she said, "You two don't have to flatter me like this. I know who you two find prettiest."

Lu Feng cleared his throat, "Well, you hold a special place in our hearts. Just like how that not so deserving man got the place in your heart."

"Brother," she exclaimed a little to stop them.

"Fine, we won't say a word about him. As long as you like him," Lu Lijun consoled.

"As if I need you two to like me. Your sister is more than enough for me," Ming Rusheng commented.

"Rusheng, you don't start now," she said.

"Ah, fine. I won't say a word."

"Breakfast is arranged on the table," Martha replied.

All went to the dining room where they all sat around that long rectangular dining table. They all sat in their respective chairs where Lu Lijun always sat in the head of the family chair at one end of the table while Jiang Yuyan always sat on Lu Lijun's right hand side. Lu Feng sat on his left side with Lu Lian and Ming Rusheng next. Jiang Yang sat next to his sister and the other three took the rest of the chairs.

As they started eating, all they could do was to praise the food.

"Brother, everything is so tasty," Lu Lian said, stuffing the food in her mouth.

"Take it slow," Lu Lijun warned, "You will choke."

She smiled with her cheeks puffed with food, "I can't seem to stop."

She then looked at Ming Rusheng who had a sip of soup, "Isn't it good."

He nodded, "Just need a little more salt."

It was the same soup made by Lu Lijun.

Just then An Tian said, "Hmm, a little more salt is needed."

"It was fine for Yuyan so….."

"She will like whatever you feed her," An Tian interrupted him.

Before Lu Lijun could say anything, Lu Lian spoke, "If you had tasted soup properly instead of something else, you would have known."

Jiang Yuyan looked at Lu Lian, "Do you want salt?" her tone was firm and a little tinge of warning was there.

"Cough! I-It's perfect for me. Rusheng and Brother Tian Might….."

"Now I taste it carefully, I think it's fine," An Tian said as he looked at Ming Rusheng.

Ming Rusheng immediately nodded, "Hmm, it tastes fine now."

Jiang Yuyan resumed eating and no one dared teased her and Lu Lijun as they had a nice breakfast.

Lu Feng and Lu Lijun finished it before the others. "Lian, we two are going to get ready, and will wait for you outside."

"Are we going somewhere?" she asked.

"Hmm, but eat slowly. We are not in a hurry," Lu Lijun replied and looked at Jiang Yuyan to tell her silently that he was leaving to which she nodded lightly.

After Lu Lian finished her breakfast and came out in the Drawing room, she asked, "Where are these two?"

"They asked you to wait outside," Martha replied.

Happily, she walked outside. "Today will be fun. After so long we all will have fun," she looked at Ming Rusheng who didn't correct her that only she was going with her brothers.

"Shall we go out as well?" Jiang Yang asked and others nodded.

"I didn't see Xiao Min," Ming Rusheng asked.

"After wishing Lian he went to meet his friends here," Jiang Yang replied.

"Busy guy finally got some time away from his scary boss," An Tian commented, only to get a glare from Jiang Yuyan.

Just as they stepped out of the home, a luxurious red car stopped in front of them with a loud screech sound.

Lu Lian, who was ahead, Looked at the car and her two brothers were sitting inside. Lu Lijun was sitting in the driver's seat while Lu Feng was sitting in the front passenger seat. Both looked in an attire of a relaxing trip as they wore comfy casuals with the sunglasses on which made them look so different but so eye-catching.

Lu Feng stepped out of the car and opened the back passenger seat door for his sister, gesturing to her to sit inside.

Like a happy girl, she sat inside and Lu Feng closed the door. "Rusheng?" she asked but heard Lu Feng, "He is not coming."

"But…"

Ming Rusheng went closer to the car and talked to her through the open window, "Today, only you and your brothers. Have fun."

With a heavy heart, she nodded as she thought everyone was coming with them. "Trust me, it will be the best birthday for you," Ming Rusheng tried to console her and she agreed.

Meanwhile, Lu Lijun who was sitting in the driver seat, his gaze was on his woman who tried to not look at him at all.

He moved his sunglasses over his head and pulled out his mobile and typed a message for her.

[Trying to not look at me is difficult isn't it?]

Jiang Yuyan frowned and typed back. [I hate narcissists]

[But still so attractive, isn't it]

[Not at all]

[Then why can't you seem to look away from me]

[I was looking at the car]

[Since when did you learn to lie?]

[Since when did you learn to talk like this?]

[It comes out on its own when you are in front of me]

She sent him emoticons of a frowning face but even before Lu Lijun could reply, Lu Feng sat inside the car, "Let's go Lu Lijun."

Lu Lijun put the cellphone aside, looked at Jiang Yuyan and winked before putting his sunglasses back and driving the car away.

'Did he just…' Jiang Yuyan was surprised by this totally unexpected act from him.
