Just as the Jiang siblings finished the Cruze ride and preferred to walk by the river on the road. Just as they stopped at one place where Jiang Yuyan faced the river while Jiang Yang stood resting his back on the short wall built along the road. As it was not the weekend, not many people were around.

"You wait here. I will get water for us," Jiang Yang said and left to get a water bottle for them.

Standing alone, Jiang Yuyan was enjoying the view of the river and the beautiful bridge built on it. She heard someone calling her.

"Yuyan."

Jiang Yuyan felt the voice was familiar and turned to look behind her only to see those two rascals from her past standing there a few feet away from her.

Anger rose in her eyes and she clenched her fists. Today she was not scared and was not going to get intimidated by any of their filthy words. "That day I was being a coward but today I might kill you two. You two better go away from my sight or...."

"We are sorry," the one man said, interrupting her.

It took her seconds to realize what she had just heard.

Even before she would say a word, the two kneeled in front of her that shocked her to her bones. The two lowered their heads.

"We apologize for what we had done to you in the past."

"Instead of apologizing, that day we said that we should not have."

"We were drunk that day to understand what is right and wrong."

"We were just feeling bad about our friend who took his own life and died."

"We apologize for what we did in the past as well as what we said to you that day."

"Please forgive us," the two said in pleading voices.

Jiang Yuyan was shocked, angry, emotional, sad and all kinds of emotions were creating chaos in her mind that she had no word coming out of her throat. If they were rude and she had to beat them right at this moment, it would have been fine but their apology….

Was she even ready to accept it? Can she even forgive them ever for the thing that had changed her life entirely? She had lost her childhood and spent those days in a traumatic life. How can she just forgive them so easily?

The two looked at her, "We have realized our mistake. Please forgive us. After this, we will make sure to never show up in front of you."

"Forgive us please."

Tears welled up in her eyes and all she could say was, "Leave."

The two only looked at her apologetically and heard her again exclaiming at them, "Just leave right away."

"Didn't you hear my sister?"

Jiang Yang said as he stood behind them.

The two stood up while Jiang Yang went to stand up again, "remember your words and never show up in front of my sister."

The two nodded and Jiang Yang said, "Leave now."

The two left while Jiang Yang went to his sister. "Are you okay?"

Jiang Yuyan hugged her brother and finally those tears she was holding back, rolled down her eyes.

Jiang Yang patted her head and let her cry and heard his sister mumbling in her crying voice.

"I can never forgive them, brother…. Never…."

"You don't need to forgive them. They don't deserve it," Jiang Yang continued caressing her head, "My sister is strong. I am proud of you."

Once she finished crying, he said again, "We should not let those bastards ruin our lovely date."

She looked at him and he wiped her tears, "What say?"

She nodded, pulling out a light smile.

"I am starving already. Let's munch on something tasty," he held her hand and the two walked towards the snack's corners.

Jiang Yuyan looked at her brother and could not help but feel how fortunate she was to have her brother. She wished to have him as her brother in life if she had to be reborn.

She stopped and he turned to look at her. "What happened?" he asked worriedly.

"I want to tell you something," she replied.

"Hmm?" he was ready to hear.

"I love you, brother," she said, looking at him happily.

"Wooh, shouldn't you have said it at the end of our date?" he smiled ear to ear, "But as you are such a lovely lady, I will accept it whenever you say it. I love you more than you do, my little princess."

"I know," she replied and the two continued walking hand in hand like a happy couple.

When all this was happening, someone standing at a distance was observing it. Seeing she was fine, and finally there was a smile on her lips, he turned to leave and sat in the car.

"Lijun, my men got those two back. Do you want to go there right away?" Jake asked.

Lu Lijun nodded and the car drove away.

In half an hour they reached the same mansion they had kept those two men before. Just as they stepped out of the car and entered the mansion, they heard the voices of those two men.

"We did what he asked us to. Why did you guys bring us here again?"

"You guys must have made a mistake about bringing us back here."

"They are not mistaken."

They heard the familiar cold voice and looked at Lu Lijun who entered the Drawing room with his two friends.

"We did what you had asked us to."

"We have just apologized to her and promised to never show up in front of her."

Lu Lijun walked further ahead, "How are you two going to ensure that promise won't be broken?"

"W-We will never go in front of her," the man said while trying to figure out what to say.

"As long as you two are alive, there are chances of a promise to be broken," Lu Lijun added.
