Zhan Long-Chapter 1299: God Shield Wall
Down the mountain, a player with god form wings holding a spear led a bunch of cavalries to charge up. Our Dragon Crystal Cannons continued to explode on the shields but that only delayed them and not insta kill them. These cavalries all rode Rhinos and Rock Goats which increased health. Moreover, they themselves were full health so they had over a million total health. 5000+ of them. That god form player was one of Iron Skull City’s top ten players, Green Bristle, ABN’s 11th ranked!
Seems like Sky Rose was planning to use their tanks to occupy the land and then push forwards.

“Green Bristle is here!” Wang Jian’s voice was filled with excitement. The god grade Iron Skull City players were finally attacking, now it was time to be serious.
“But we don’t have enough cavalries!”
Li Mu looked at the players behind, “Too many died just now and we don’t have more than 30 thousand people, what should we do? How should we block them?”
I walked to the frontline, “No choice, attack together, form three layers to defend. Behind, musketeers, Mages and Archers. Use our firepower to suppress them. We built our defence line. Far away, Mu Xuan also led Appearance Alliance to rebuild their defence line. The chinese players at the mid waist of the mountain were reducing but we had no choice. Prohibited Dragon Land couldn’t be broken if not our hard work would be for nothing.
I didn’t fly and just stood on the ground. Beside me was Li Mu and Bai Qi. Behind was Thousand Suns Over Snowy Lands, Lian Po, Fox etc top ranged players. Green Bristle’s team got closer and closer and these 5000+ were obviously here to be cannon fodder to block the Dragon Crystal Cannon attacks. Behind them were a bunch of cavalries, it was the Fierce Wind Cavalry, Sky Rose’s king card. There were at least 30 thousand of them. Further behind were the Archers, Mages, Musketee and Assassins. Once they stretched their formation into our core land, things would become really tough.
My body sunk down and the sword in my right hand stored up energy. A scroll stretched down from the mid waist of the mountain. The cavalries didn’t understand what was going on before their bodies were covered in light. When they were amazed, Green Bristle shouted, “Be careful, this is Xiao Yao Zi Zai’s Star Region Technique!”
But it was too late. I flipped my wrist and Underworld Sword Breaking exploded. The things in the scroll turned real, mountains collapsed, rivers surged and the 120 yards ahead turned into hell. Many terrifying damage numbers jumped up--

Basically each attack that crit or dealt 10 times damage insta killed someone. Even these tanky cavalries couldn’t block me. Although their defence was high, but under Butterfly’s 70% armor breaking effect it didn’t matter.
After all, these were Blades of War elite players. Their confidence couldn’t collapse so easily. Much less Green Bristle was there. The 5000+ of them continued to charge at us.
“Shield formation block!”
Li Mu shouted and activated his god form. He waved his sword and knocked back a few that tried to get close. His strength was too high so those tanky players couldn’t block him at all.
Wang Jian led the players to defend this area. He held the Dragonhorse Blade and fought like a madman. What was worth mentioning was that his attack was stronger than Li Mu. Dragonhorse Set increased strength and the strength growth of ascended players were a key such that Wang Jian’s casual strike would deal at least 300 thousand damage. It was really terrifying. Along with Halberd Sweep, he swept dozens of people around him.

The players charging up the mountain hit us at 70% of their top speed and that clash caused sparks to fly. We barely blocked their strike. The Mages, Archers, Musketee shot at them but their health was too high and couldn’t be killed in a short time.

The horse hooves sounds became more and more intense and it was the Fierce Wind Cavalries, at least 30 thousand of them. This was a huge threat for us who had fought for close to 10 hours. Moreover, we could see the golden light, many of their top 10 players were here, even Sky Rose came.
They were going all out!
I ordered Chi Yu Qing and Chi Yu Han to lead all the Cliff Dragon Cavalries and Flame Hawk Archers to attack. Royal Army cavalries and archers attacked too but we didn’t have many. We lost around half of the Cliff Dragon Cavalries and Flame Hawk Archers and the Royal Army wasn’t any better. Heaven Barrier Army and Guards Army suffered heavy losses too, around 50%. Prohibited Dragon Land battle pretty much was a slaughter. Logically speaking an army that lost 30% of its number should collapse but it was rare that we were still defending, not retreating at all.
Jing Yin and Han Yuan personally led the troops. Li Mu, Wang Jian, Li Mu, Mu Xuan etc were in front of the players. I also had to show my true strength!
“Shua!”
I turned into a streak of light and left the formation. I charged into the Fierce Wind Cavalries and waved my swords. Sword light shot out. I waved my arm and Thundering Heavens, Dragon Totem were both activated and swept a bunch of the cavalries. I used Underworld Breaking Sword to follow up and close to 100 of them were killed.
“Stop Xiao Yao Zi Zai!” A team leader shouted.
Thousands of them circled around and blocked me. At the same time, a bunch of gryphon cavalries appeared above. I thought that it was hard to surround a god grade player but with gryphon cavalries above, that was possible.
“Keng keng keng…”
Shields connected with one another, these were a bunch of well trained players. Sky Rose trained them like soldiers if not they wouldn’t have such precise formation control. Their shields connected and they pushed toward us. That team leader teased, “Xiao Yao Zi Zai, the maniacal dragon of China, Blades of War will kill you this time!”
I laughed and charged. My sword smashed onto the shield and there was a loud thud. The faces of the cavalries that I knocked into turned green and it wasn’t easy for them either. Dozens of players behind pushed their shields against their allies’ backs. Dozens of them went against me.
“Our God Shield Wall feels good right? It is designed for people like you.” They clamoured.
God Shield Wall, wasn’t a simple formation, it was a group skill. I saw that they were using some techniques to condense their defence and strength together. It was really smart and it was a whole new art of war.
But there were still gaps.
I attacked once more and they waited for me to charge. Many of them tossed spears to reduce my health. More and more gryphon cavalries appeared in the sky and many of them started to shoot at me from above.

The moment I got close to the God Shield wall, I slid forwards and waved Butterfly. I forced a shield away and struck with Gan Jiang. “Keng keng keng” it sliced through the gaps and sliced those energy chains apart. I used Strength of a Thousand Men and forced dozens of them aside. The God Shield Wall was only so-so.
Their formation was in a mess and there was no more defence buffs. I raised Butterfly and used Wind Carrying Slash. 15 golden sword energies swept across them and they were all insta killed, none of them survived!
I charged out while continuing to attack. Trampling Thunder, Sword Tempest etc small skills were all used. Everywhere I passed turned into a sea of corpses. Green Bristle, Sky Rose, Seven Feather etc all avoided me and weren’t willing to clash with us. They were probably afraid that I would insta kill them.
However, I alone couldn’t change the entire situation. The China player formation was being struck by the Fierce Wind Cavalries and their Tempest Slash effect spread about. Sky Rose and Seven Feather also arrived on the frontline. Zhan Long had three flagbearers that died at once. The battlefield was too chaotic and no one could care for others. The only thing we could do is to defend our piece of land.

In the sky, Flame Hawk Archers and Gryphon Cavalries clashed. The Flame Hawk Archers had my buffs so they were 1v1 experts but there were too many enemies. Moreover, the Iron Skull City players used God Form to kill the Flame Hawk Archers. What was worse was that Sky Rose actually aimed the Demon Crystal Cannons at the sky. After a few cannons, the number of Flame Hawk Archers greatly dropped.
There were too many of them, millions were attacking the mountain while we only had a few hundred thousand, how could we even defend?!
