Cairn is a prince who is already tired of ruling. Faced with an imminent coronation and an overbearing father, he wants nothing more than to drown his responsibilities in cheap liquor and poor decisions. With the help of his sister, he hatches a plan to escape the clutches of the throne once and for all. It all goes terribly wrong, and Cairn finds his priorities shifting in the face of unimaginable tragedy. The change of heart comes too late, however, and Cairn dies. He reawakens to find himself transported ten years in the past. He immediately begins to plan for the future, only to discover his killer has somehow followed him. To succeed, Cairn must unite the kingdom and discover the motivation of his killer, using as many tries as it takes. ++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++I exhausted pretty much every time loop story ever written and decided to write my own. You'll see a few similarities here between this story and some existing stories, at least initially. There's a lot of inspiration drawn from both MoL and Re:Zero, though in terms of pathos and darkness, this story leans more towards the latter. Be warned, it is something of a slow burn. The main character will grow and become powerful, but a theme of this story is that power comes slowly and often at great cost.

OP Returnee from a Xianxia World, she doesn't lose any of her powers. Expect little to no stakes, just awesome showcases of power and a main character that constantly breaks all rules established.-An active main character which will be the main focus and point of view. I dislike passive main characters and I won't give focus to random side characters for dozens of chapters like other OP MC stories do. But there will still be a big cast of colorful characters that will give life to the world, or worlds.-She will be a prideful, arrogant, and ruthless cultivator at the beginning, and will slowly mellow down once she gets used to how Earth society works. However, she takes pride on her own strength and her acomplishments. Though, her love for the people important to her is boundless.-Despite being so strong, she still desires to grow stronger. Our main character will continue cultivating and using the new powers she finds to her advantage. Basic LitRPG Progression combined with Cultivation of the Heavenly Dao and all of that.-Lots of God Slaying.-Girls Love, our Main Character will not actively seek girls, but if the opportunity arises, will not shy away from being with one, or even falling in love. There will be occasional slice-of-life and romantic moments if that's your thing. -Polyamorous Relationships between the main character and many girls. However, it will be more of a side dish rather than the main dish, and I will make sure it doesn't become suffocating to read. Action and Progression are the focus. Nonetheless, a fair warning that there IS romance. And in many ways, and not just traditional ones. After all, some love interests will be from different cultures and worlds. -Ultimately, I am writing this story for my own amusement and fun, so please don't feel offended if something happens that you dislike. I am not writing this story for anybody or for any audience. -Chapters almost every day.My Grammar is not the best, and I am not a native english speaker, so I'm doing my best to improve. It is said that you shouldn't meet your heroes. Gehaldirah, a high elf of royal bloodline didn't have to meet the realm lord of High Heaven before he became disillusioned.

His admiration for the paragon of the high elf race turned into hatred when he got some damning knowledge about why demons kept attacking his home and looting the sacred tree of life. His hatred for the realm lord turned to self-hatred for his weakness and mediocrity.

Gehaldirah had a moment of introspection. He isn't at the bottom of the ladder in this strength-based hierarchy. He is a king of law, but that apparently isn't enough to guarantee your fate. His strength is also mediocre because it was granted to him because of his bloodline.

He determined he had to change himself. He has to become better. He concocted a plan that is one part genius and one part greed. His plan for reincarnation led him to the trial of heaven that occurs every origin cycle. He needed Origin essence so he participated in the trial.

He got more than he wanted from the trial. His plan for reincarnation would be a success after some adjustments. But now he has a different aim. He won't aim for just the realm lord. The realm lord has control of the High Heaven Realm. That isn't enough for Geraldirah anymore.

He became greedier. He has his sight set on the movers and shakers of the Void Universe. Only the power to subvert the will of World Gods will do. The plan to create LEGION, the ultimate organism was then hatched. If one person cannot achieve something, what about a multitude of them?

His journey will not be easy. He will have to overcome Celestials and their Celestial Supreme, Gods and their GodKings, Demon kings and their Demon gods. The Void Universe is full of obstacles that will like nothing more than to put an end to his path. It is not that they hate him. They will oppose him simply because the era of conquest is coming. There are no friends in the era of conquest. It is everyone for themselves.
