Qiao Mei sighed and slowly got out of bed to look for appropriate clothes. She tried her best to wrap herself up warmly. It was still early which meant that there was no food at home. Qiao Mei did not intend to wait for someone to start cooking. She intended to go straight to a big restaurant later to have a good meal and get Xia He to pay for it.
Xia He looked at Qiao Mei’s expression fearfully, worried that Qiao Mei would suddenly change her mind and refuse to go to the hospital for the checkup. If that happened, not only would Xia Fang reprimand her, but Xu Lan would definitely nag at her again if she found out.
