Chapter 59: Execution 8

*Cough*

*Cough*

"Well, that, *cough* was anticlimactic," Oliver muttered when the body of the fatty fell onto the floor.

The headless corpse fell and rolled over to the side as the smell of burnt hair and blood spread across the room.

"Now that he is no more, may I talk with his father? " he asked the shocked people standing in the room.

"I am out of grenades, and it’s safe. It was difficult to act like a fool and get captured. It’s high time that we ended it." Oliver spoke while his body healed.

The contingency he prepared before being captured was vibrating in his body.

Meanwhile, no one wanted to call the CEO of M-fresh into the basement. The situation was too bad even to consider that.

What would happen when he saw the headless corpse of his son?

They didn’t even want to imagine it.

"Well then, plan C it is." He muttered under his breath.

Oliver had no way to break into M-fresh HQ. And he was certain he wouldn’t be able to defeat them alone with a frontal attack. So, he made many complicated plans to destroy them in one sweep.

Being captured by the M-fresh people was also part of his plan.

Stephen betraying him and leaking information to the Fatty was also according to his plan.

Acting like a fool was also according to his plan.

Why did he do all that?

To have justification.

Finding their relationship with demons and their smuggling operation was not enough to justify murder.

For that, he had to make some people believe he was brought before them unwillingly. The threat of life was even better.

Only that would allow him to act alone.

By doing so, he could justify everything as self-defence.

That was plan A.

However, the plan broke down the moment unexpected people like Swift Sword appeared.

Even with justification, it would be suicidal to try to take them on alone.

So, he shifted to plan B. However, that failed when the CEO failed to appear before him.

Thus, he was currently on plan C. Even if everything didn’t happen according to his wish, it would end with plan C. Because it was one crazy plan he made, considering all possible scenarios.

"You!" Swift Sword was exasperated.

He was not injured, but he couldn’t form words while his mind stabilized from the shock. The event that transpired was too much to handle.

"Young master!!!" Suddenly, the men who were standing far back, the bodyguards of the Fatty, ran towards the fallen body.

They never expected something terrible like that to happen under the watchful eyes of an A-ranker. Besides that, Oliver was chained to the ceiling. They could never have imagined him to be hiding a grenade inside his stomach.

"Why did you do that?" Swift Sword asked.

"He said he was enough to handle me. He said he alone is enough to handle the situation. Obviously, that was not the case." Oliver spoke while adjusting his jaw.

The explosion had momentarily pushed his body back and dislocated his jaw. He was in the process of healing it.

The blood covering his face slowly dripped down, revealing a fully healed face. His condition improved within seconds. At a glance, you would never imagine he survived a mana grenade explosion.

"You killed someone." Swift Sword couldn’t understand how he could smile after doing something so horrible.

"News flash. I killed someone. And I am about to get away with it." Oliver joked.

"..." Swift Sword stopped speaking.

"Anyway, I was supposed to meet the thug of a CEO and brag about how I am going to destroy him and his family. But this damned piggy had to stop me." He had no sympathy for the father or the son. They were a cruel duo who did much worse.

*Sigh*

"It didn’t work out in the end. How I wish he could see the damned fatty’s face before he died."

Oliver was disappointed.

"Can you call him here?" He asked again.

"YOU!"

The angry bodyguards screamed at Oliver. They raised their swords and dashed at him.

Their goal was simple.

To end Oliver once and for all.

Plan B was an absolute failure.

"It seems like you disagree. I thought as much. Hmmm. Anyway, the process doesn’t matter, only the result does." Oliver muttered and yanked at the chains binding him.

Blood flowed between the cracks of the chain, forcing it to unlink.

No one noticed it until his body fell down.

By that time, the bodyguards were within arm’s reach of Oliver.

They were about to slash at him, but suddenly stopped.

Oliver, who was free from his chains, was someone they didn’t dare to approach.

His one glance stopped them in their tracks.

*Chuckles*

"What? Did you drop your balls?" He walked towards the bodyguards.

However, they ran back just as fast as they came.

"Mr Swift Sword. What time is it?" Suddenly, Oliver asked a random question.

The question caught him off guard.

Why was he asking about time?

His question was soon answered when Oliver cut open his abdomen to take out a small electronic device.

The device only had a screen and nothing else.

It was a military communication device.

"It’s already nine in the morning. Time flies when you are doing something you enjoy." Oliver muttered while looking at the device.

The device he was holding was the communication device he had bought from the black market.

Just to confirm, he checked the last message the device sent. The vibration he felt before was the pre-planned message being sent.

’Hmmm. Plan C is in effect.’ He thought, looking at the outbox.

Plan B was to meet the CEO. Record him admitting his relationship with demons and send it to Thunder Emperor through his direct number.

However, that plan was scrapped the moment he failed to meet him.

Thus, the fail-safe was activated, and plan C automatically came into play.

The craziest of all plans.

The device Oliver hid on his body had sent an anonymous message to a specific email connected to Nova Rift, the international guild.

The email was intended for Indra to read.

The content of the email included all the info related to demons, void stones, and M-fresh. Oliver, without any proof, connected them to Indra.

It would have never worked in a court.

But this was not a court.

What he wanted was for Indra to make a move.

The message was sent a few seconds ago. So, by now, Indra would have read it.

Followed by that, another message was in the queue to be sent.

Oliver connected to a remote server and sent the other, slightly modified message to the thunder emperor, the headmaster of the military school, who hated demons.

’Who will come first?’ Oliver asked himself in amusement.

Then, he turned around to look at Swift Sword.

"You see this, right?" Oliver waved the communication device in his hand.

*Nod*

Swift Sword reluctantly nodded.

"Too bad you know. I sent a bunch of information to some people. They will rush here soon. If you want to live, act like you don’t know anything and leave." Oliver gave a final warning.

Then calmly walked towards the door on the other side of the room.

No one dared to stop him.frёeweɓηovel.coɱ
